We are seeking a Senior Subsea Operations & Layout Engineer! As a Senior Subsea Operations & Layout Engineer you will be involved in all phases of a delivery project related to design, system integration, testing and installation of subsea equipment. You will ensure that subsea systems are fit for purposes, including layout, installation, and operability and that all equipment is designed for safe and efficient testing and installation. The role includes responsibility for subsea layout, system testing and interface management and requires close interaction with internal engineering disciplines, customers and installation contractors. Start: Preffered 01.09.2026 Duration: 6 months with possibility of an extension Tasks and responsibilities: • Follow up design in early project phases to ensure all equipment is designed for testing and installation, including ROV access • Perform layout reviews and ensure subsea system integration and functionality across disciplines • Lead system testing and coordinate all activities related to system testing execution • Develop test programs and function as test lead throughout the project • Ensure all system testing equipment is specified and procured • Develop stack-up test procedures, installation guidelines and mobilisation procedures • Perform ROV simulations and create ROV access reports • Follow up required tooling and installation-related equipment • Ensure alignment between design, installation philosophy and operational execution • Manage technical interfaces with customers, suppliers and installation contractors • Lead and facilitate meetings with Customer and Installation Contractor representatives • Participate in and facilitate risk and safety reviews (e.g., HARC) • Ensure delivery of relevant engineering documentation (layout, interfaces, procedures, verification) • Act as senior advisor and support junior engineers in layout and operations topics • Adhere to company policies, procedures and project-specific requirements Qualifications: • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Marine Engineering / Subsea Engineering or similar • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in subsea or offshore engineering • Experience within subsea system testing, installation or system integration is required Knowledge, Skills & Competencies: • Subsea system design, layout and installation principles • System testing methodologies and integration practices • ROV access, intervention, and installation methods • Industry standards, procedures and safety requirements • Strong mechanical engineering skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams • Strong communication skills in English • Ability to ensure solutions are practical and installable • Ability to lead system testing and operational activities • Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented • Ability to mentor and support less experienced engineers Folk can offer: • Good long-term opportunities with our clients • Individual and adapted follow-up while on assignment • Good career development opportunities in an interesting and innovative sector • Competitive terms and conditions Social events and pleasant tokens of appreciation throughout the year We see possibilities in your competence! The techoraco team is responsible for the operational delivery of these events and exhibitions, across North America, South America, Europe, Africa and Asia, with the events ranging from intimate leadership gatherings of 300 attendees to our flagship events of 7000+ attendees. Role We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Delegate Sales Executive to join our growing events business. The primary purpose of this role is to generate delegate revenue across our portfolio of international B2B events through proactive outbound telesales. You will engage senior-level professionals across the digital infrastructure sector, identifying attendance opportunities and convincing prospects and existing customers of the value of participating in our events. Success in this role requires confidence on the phone, strong consultative selling skills, resilience, and a results-driven mindset. Key Responsibilities Delegate Sales & Revenue Generation · Sell paid delegate passes across a portfolio of international conferences. · Conduct high-volume outbound calling campaigns to prospects and existing customers. · Identify decision-makers and qualify opportunities within target accounts. · Clearly articulate the commercial and networking value of attending our events. · Convert enquiries, marketing leads and existing database contacts into paying delegates. · Consistently achieve and exceed individual revenue targets. Prospecting & Pipeline Management · Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline. · Follow up on marketing campaigns, lead-generation activities and inbound enquiries. · Re-engage previous attendees and lapsed customers. · Develop a deep understanding of target industries, companies and buying motivations. · Maintain accurate records of all sales activity within the CRM system. Customer Relationship Management · Build long-term relationships with attendees and key industry stakeholders. · Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process. · Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the event portfolio. · Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to support event development. Collaboration · Work closely with marketing teams on targeted acquisition campaigns. · Share prospect feedback, market trends and objections to improve campaign effectiveness. · Collaborate with production and conference teams to understand event agendas, speakers and value propositions.
