Mirelo AI is building the next generation of creative tools by generating realistic sound, speech and music from video.
We develop cutting-edge foundational generative AI models that "unmute" silent video content and create custom, hyper-realistic
audio for gaming, video platforms, and creators. Our technology empowers global storytellers to transform their content.
We recently closed a $41 million Seed round co-led by Andreessen Horowitz and Index Ventures with participation from Atlantic, and
are rapidly expanding across Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market, and Growth.
About the Role
At Mirelo, you’ll join a small, fast-moving team building real products on top of our generative audio models. This role is
hands-on and high-ownership: you’ll ship end-to-end features across our stack, work directly with research and product, and help
shape how our technology becomes something creators and partners actually use. As we scale our go-to-market efforts, the
engineering work you do will sit at the heart of both user-facing products and deeper integrations with platforms, tools, and
enterprise partners.

ABOUT PARLOA Parloa’s mission is to make every customer conversation feel effortless for both customers and the companies serving them. As agentic AI accelerates, Parloans are shaping the foundation of a new era in customer experience, one where customer support is no longer transactions, but meaningful exchanges. It is not just a vision; Parloa has powered over ONE BILLION interactions between global enterprise brands and their customers, with companies like Booking.com, HealthEquity, Allianz, SAP, BarmeniaGothaer, and TUI already deploying Parloa at scale. Frontend engineers at Parloa primarily strengthen our central frontend platform—microfrontend architecture, Server-Driven UI library, and our shared design system—so product teams can ship agent management platform UI faster with clear ownership and fewer coordination dependencies. Some engineers are embedded in product teams for deeper, custom UI where platform patterns do not apply. ABOUT THE ROLE: * Define and drive technical strategy for the frontend platform: microfrontend architecture, Server-Driven UI library, design system, and developer experience for internal and product consumers. * Lead cross-team architecture so platform capabilities and product features integrate through clear contracts (APIs, UI boundaries, release and rollout patterns)—with enough full-stack depth (TypeScript/Node services, integration with backend teams) to own end-to-end platform outcomes, not only React surfaces. * Balance short-term velocity with long-term resilience, making smart trade-offs on complexity, cost, and scalability. * Remain hands-on on highest-leverage platform code, critical design reviews, and precedent-setting implementations. * Act as a force multiplier by mentoring Staff Engineers and influencing the careers of future Principal-level talent. * Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership including advising on frontend capacity, standards, and hiring bar. * Set cultural standards for fearless iteration, bias for action, and pragmatic perfectionism—design for tomorrow, build for today. * Lead frontend alignment with the Architecture Office and drive org-wide frontend technical direction—including how the platform evolves, how embedded product UI stays compatible, and how we scale agent management platform UI without coordination tax. * Demonstrate org-level impact across microfrontend boundaries/versioning and independent deployability, Server-Driven UI library adoption decisions, and design-system governance (contribution model, migration strategy, and breaking-change management) with measurable improvements across multiple teams. OUR TECH STACK: * TypeScript, React, React Router, styled-components, TanStack Query, nanostores * Infrastructure: Micro-frontends with single-spa, Webpack, Turborepo, pnpm workspaces, GitHub Actions, Azure Blob Storage * Testing: Vitest, RTL, MSW, Playwright WHO YOU ARE: * Professional experience building and shipping production systems in fast-moving environments. * You take full ownership. When something matters, you drive it to completion and stand behind the outcome. * You have a strong bias for action. You move quickly, make informed decisions, and iterate based on real-world feedback. * You are comfortable operating in ambiguity and can turn fuzzy problems into shipped results. * You think in systems: scalability, reliability, performance, and security are part of your default design mindset. * You define success clearly and measure it; you care deeply about customer impact and business outcomes. * You hold a high craftsmanship bar: clean, secure, well-tested code is your baseline. * You give and receive candid feedback, and you elevate those around you through mentoring and technical leadership. * You balance pragmatism with ambition, building for today while designing for tomorrow. * You want to help build not just features, but one of Europe’s most respected engineering organizations. WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU? * Join a diverse team of 40+ nationalities with flat hierarchies and a collaborative company culture. * Opportunity to build and scale your career at the intersection of customer-facing roles and engineering in a dynamic startup on its journey to become an international leader in SaaS platforms for Conversational AI. * Deutschland ticket, Urban Sports Club, Job Rad, Nilo Health, weekly sponsored office lunches * Competitive compensation and equity package. * Flexible working hours, 28 vacation days and workation opportunities. * Access to a training and development budget for continuous professional growth. * Regular team events, game nights, and other social activities. OUR VALUES At Parloa, we hire, promote, and evaluate based on cultural and technical excellence. You’ll thrive here if you: * Earn Trust – act with transparency and reliability. * Obsess Over Customers – always start with the customer problem. * Think Big – set bold goals and pursue them fearlessly. * Have Integrity – do the right thing, especially when it’s hard. * Disagree & Commit – debate with candor, align fast, and deliver. * Own It – take full responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks. * Dive Deep – master the details without losing sight of the big picture. * Bias for Action – move fast, decide quickly, iterate fearlessly. * Deliver Value – measure success by customer and business impact. * Insist on the Highest Standards – raise the bar continuously. * Go the Extra Mile – make the impossible possible. * Hire & Elevate the Best – raise the bar with every hire YOUR RECRUITING PROCESS AT PARLOA Recruiter Call → Technical Peer Interview → 360° Tech Interview Loop → Bar Raiser WHY PARLOA? OUR STORY: Every year millions of people are either filing their taxes in fear or giving up on their tax refund altogether. We're working on fixing that. Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound confidence. Spread across Germany, Spain and the UK, the team at Taxfix Group with its brands Taxfix and Steuerbot, is a compassionate group of solution-finders. We speak our minds openly, and with over 400 professionals, including tax experts, developers, and IT security experts, we're rich in ideas and voices. The group has facilitated more than 3.5 billion euros in tax refunds for its customers since its founding in 2016. YOUR CHALLENGE As a (Senior) Software Engineer on the TaxCore team, you'll be part of a shared engineering team that serves both Taxfix and Steuerbot - one team, two brands, multiple products. Based in Berlin or Stuttgart with a flexible hybrid setup, you’ll build and evolve the core shared services that power core experiences across both brands. In close collaboration with other teams, you'll design scalable backend systems and help shape technical direction as part of a small, high-ownership team that moves fast without cutting corners. This is a role for someone who loves building things that matter - and who takes genuine pride in the craft of doing it well. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES * Build, maintain, and continuously improve core shared services and internal tools that power stable, intuitive user experiences for both Taxfix and Steuerbot. * Design and implement scalable, reliable backend systems and architecture that enable core functionality across Taxfix and Steuerbot. * Collaborate across teams to design, ship new features and share capabilities, working pragmatically beyond the boundaries of your immediate team. * Contribute to shaping the long-term technical direction of core backend services, bringing both depth of expertise and a pragmatic, outcome-focused mindset. * Contribute across the team’s stack, including occasional frontend work on internal tooling. * Take ownership, remove blockers, and help the team stay focused on what matters most. YOUR PROFILE * You bring strong backend engineering experience and a proven track record of building and evolving complex, scalable systems in production environments. * You are highly proficient in at least one modern programming language, and experience with Go is strongly preferred. * You have solid experience with modern software architecture concepts, including API design, databases, and cloud-based systems - and hands-on experience integrating a diverse range of third-party and internal APIs. * You are comfortable with containerization and DevOps concepts, with practical experience using tools like Kubernetes. * You care deeply about code quality - writing performant, maintainable, and elegant code is something you take genuine pride in, and you have a natural affinity for the full stack of what it takes to ship great software. * You are familiar with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, and understand how to use them thoughtfully to support better, faster engineering. * You’re a pragmatic, hands-on builder: someone who cuts through complexity and enjoys turning ideas into well-crafted solutions. * You’re collaborative, direct, and outcome-oriented, and thrive in cross-functional environments where people work closely together to solve problems. * German language skills are a plus, as this team works closely with Germany-specific tax logic. WHY TAXFIX? * A chance to do meaningful, people-centric work with an international team of passionate professionals. * Holistic well-being with free mental health coaching sessions and yoga. * A monthly allowance to spend on an extensive range of services that you can use and roll over as flexibly as you like. * Employee stock options for all employees—because everyone deserves to benefit from the success they help to create. * 30 annual vacation days and flexible working hours. * A generous learning budget to support your personal and professional development and guidance from our internal L&D experts. * Work from abroad for up to six weeks every year. Just align with your team, and then enjoy your trip. * Plenty of opportunities to socialise as a team. In addition to internal meetups, our international team hosts regular get-togethers—virtually and in person when possible. * Free tax declaration filing, of course, through the Taxfix app—and internal support for all personal tax-related questions. * Have a four-legged friend in your life? We’re happy to have dogs join us in the office. Excited? So are we. Learn more about Team Taxfix on our blog and get a glimpse of our culture.
