entities, menaing cash tax is now a material line item that the CFO, finance leadership, and investors need to forecast, manage,
and explain with precision. The Tax team is responsible for corporate income tax and transfer pricing compliance across the group,
and is now building the infrastructure to match the scale and scrutiny that comes with that responsibility.
This is a build role. As Tax Process and Operations Lead, you'll own the design and implementation of SumUp's tax accounting and
financial reporting framework from the ground up, creating the methodology, models, controls, and tooling that underpin how tax
positions flow into financial statements, management reporting, and cash forecasting. You’ll lead the end-to-end design of how tax
technical positions are translated into financial reporting, management reporting, and cash forecasting outputs — partnering
closely with Tax, Accounting, Controlling, FP&A, and Treasury to define the processes, controls, data flows, and automation
requirements that make this scalable across the group. If you're energised by building something that genuinely matters, and doing

Team The People Solutions team serves as the strategic engine room of Raisin’s People & Culture team by building a secure, data-driven, and compliant infrastructure that scales the organization. By bridging the gap between strategy and technology, the team optimizes HRIS systems to eliminate manual work, leverages analytics and AI to drive smarter business decisions, and acts as a compliance anchor managing audits, policies, and risk. Your Responsibilities * You establish People policy and process standards by authoring, reviewing, and maintaining the global and local People policy frameworks, ensuring all documentation is logical, accessible, and structured according to company standards. * You look after AI-readiness and ethical governance in the People domain by reviewing existing policies and processes to ensure they are compliant with emerging AI regulations, address corresponding risks, and protect employee data privacy. * You partner with the wider People Solutions team to ensure that automated People processes and AI-driven tools have clear human-in-the-loop overrides and ethical safeguards. * You design, implement, and maintain a Risk and Controls Framework specifically for People processes that is in alignment with Raisin’s global compliance framework. * You track upcoming changes in employment law, data protection (e.g., GDPR, local privacy laws), and AI regulations and proactively update policies and process accordingly before they take effect. * You align closely with the People and Culture leadership and conduct regular spot-checks and internal mini-audits to ensure teams are executing People processes strictly according to documented standards. * You serve as the primary point of contact for all internal, external, and third-party People audits and governance-related reporting requests. * You manage and fulfill documentation requests from external supervisory bodies, labor ministries, and regulatory agencies. * You design and oversee in close collaboration with Raisin’s People and Culture leadership the implementation of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) across the broader People team if audit gaps are identified. Your Profile * You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field. * You have 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 2–3 years focused explicitly on HR Compliance, HR Audit, or People Operations Governance. * You have strong People domain knowledge incl. People processes across the employee lifecycle. * You have direct experience drafting, structuring, and maintaining comprehensive HR policies, employee handbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). * You have a deep understanding of regional employment standards, labor laws, and strict data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) as well as strong foundational knowledge of emerging frameworks impacting HR technology, such as the EU AI Act. * You have strong communication skills and you feel comfortable collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * You have the ability to "speak tech" and understand how data flows through an HRIS. * You have the ability to act as a bridge between rigid legal/audit teams and fast-moving People teams without causing friction. * You have a strong focus on data integrity, semantic clarity in documentation, and spotting subtle gaps in process controls. * You are fluent in English. Total Compensation Range: €45,000 – €65,000 THE POSITION If you're excited about working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and passionate about Finance, this opportunity is for you! We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented (Junior) Accounting & Reporting Analyst to join our Finance team in Berlin. This role sits at the intersection of core accounting and financial reporting, giving you hands-on exposure to group consolidation, intercompany flows, FP&A support, and international tax advisory work from day one. Your mission: You'll bridge the gap between operational accounting and financial reporting, keeping our ledgers clean, supporting our external tax advisors across five European markets, and helping the FP&A team deliver accurate, timely insights to the business. If you're someone who enjoys both getting into the detail of bookkeeping and contributing to a bigger reporting picture, this role is a great fit. In this role, you will: * Support monthly and quarterly group consolidation. * Prepare and review financial data packages for external tax advisors across the UK, Italy, Spain, France, and the Netherlands. * Assist the FP&A team during the internal reporting cycle: preparing data, checking consistency, and helping ensure timely delivery of financial insights. * Handle revenue bookkeeping via upload files. * Create and process intercompany invoices. * Support AP & AR clean-up projects to ensure ledger accuracy. * Support the annual group audit process, including documentation and data provision. * Assist with transfer pricing analysis and intercompany documentation.
