We are looking for a VP of Finance (all genders) for our dynamic team in the heart of buzzing Berlin! This pivotal role will lead our FP&A as well as Financial Systems teams, driving financial strategy, analysis, and planning to support Babbel's growth and long-term vision. The VP of Finance will report to Babbel's CFO and collaborate closely with senior leadership as well as business unit leaders to ensure financial integrity and optimize business performance. You will: * Develop and execute financial strategies that align with Babbel's strategic objectives and growth plans * Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes * Identify steering optimization opportunities in close collaboration with the leadership, revenue teams and data teams * Provide strategic insights and financial modeling to support executive decision-making, with a focus on B2C marketing * Report on and regularly present financials and key metrics to the leadership team as well as the board of directors and external stakeholders * Develop and optimize on a strategy to improve the financial systems and process landscape as well as oversee the implementation of these improvements * Set financial processes up for scale with the help of new technology * Lead and develop high-performing FP&A and financial systems teams You have: * At least 10 years of experience in finance, with a proven track record in strategic financial planning and management * A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams * A strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies * Expertise in financial planning, analysis, and management, with a proven track record of driving business performance – especially in B2C marketing * Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data to provide actionable insights * Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating financial strategies and influencing stakeholders at all levels * Experience in optimizing end-to-end finance processes in the areas of record to report, order to cash and procure to pay * Leadership qualities that inspire and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation * A collaborative approach with a strong ability to drive change and align financial initiatives with organizational goals * Strong written and oral English skills are a must Please note that our company's operating language is English, so you will need to be able to work in English.
