TALENT ACQUISITION PARTNER – FIELD SALES 🕐 Fixed-term (1-year) contract · Full-time ABOUT SUMUP We believe in the everyday hero — those who have the courage to follow their passion and the determination to realise their dreams. Small business owners are at the heart of all we do, so we're creating powerful, easy-to-use financial solutions to help them run their businesses. With a founder’s mentality and a team-first attitude, our diverse teams across Europe, South America, and the United States work together to ensure that small business owners can be successful doing what they love. ABOUT THE TEAM You’ll join our Global Talent Acquisition team, dedicated to finding and empowering the best talent across SumUp. This role will focus on the Sales hiring stream, one of the fastest-growing and most business-critical areas at SumUp. As a Senior TA professional, you’ll work day-to-day with Sales leaders across Europe and help strengthen how we hire through process, data, stakeholder coaching, and disciplined execution. Depending on your experience and team needs, you will take part in leading initiatives and mentoring other TA team members. You’ll be based in one of our main hubs, Berlin and collaborate closely with colleagues across multiple European markets. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Own the end-to-end recruitment process for Field Sales roles across primarily Germany and other European markets. * Partner with Sales leaders to define scorecards, interview loops, and SLAs, ensuring Act as a trusted advisor to Sales leaders: clarify priorities, sense-check asks, and drive alignment on what “good” looks like. * Build and run structured hiring: scorecards, calibrated interview loops, interviewer guidance, and consistent decision-making. * Create persona-based sourcing and attraction plans, partnering with Employer Branding when needed. * Run weekly funnel and pipeline reviews, turning data into decisions * Identify systemic bottlenecks and drive improvements that raise hiring quality, speed, and candidate experience. * Bring strong offer and closing partnership: manage trade-offs, expectations, and decision-making to land hires effectively. * Maintain process discipline and ensure hiring practices remain compliant, fair, and consistent across markets. YOU’LL BE GREAT FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU * Have strong experience owning Sales hiring in a fast-paced environment; you can manage complexity across multiple markets. * Are excellent at influencing senior stakeholders; you can challenge unrealistic or low-value requests constructively, without becoming a blocker. * Have a track record with structured hiring (scorecards, evidence-based assessment, calibrated decision-making). * Use data naturally to run your desk: you’re fluent in funnel metrics, trade-offs, forecasting. * Combine hands-on execution with a system mindset: you improve the machine while running the process. * Communicate with clarity and pace, and you create trust through follow-through and high standards. * Fluency in English and German is a must, an additional European language is a plus (e.g. French, Italian, Portuguese or Spanish).
