What you’ll do Right now, we are looking for a Devops Engineer for our Digital Site Services. In this role you will report to our Digital Domain Manager and sit within our Digital function. The team is responsible for deliver secure, resilient, and innovative infrastructure solutions, including fully redundant datacenters. As our Devops Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in designing and maintaining the systems that power our Digital Factory. Based in Boden and part of Strega’s dynamic digital team, you’ll ensure our platforms drive productivity, safety, and sustainability. Specific to this role, the day-to-day tasks will include the following but as we are a growing company with very little silos between teams, other tasks might be included as well. * Oversee the deployment, commissioning, and configuration of digital infrastructure * Configure and operate servers, storage, backup systems, datacenter support functions, as well as virtualization environments (both on-premises and in the cloud). * Work closely with team members and vendors to design digital infrastructure and implement best practices. * Define operational processes for monitoring and maintaining infrastructure, ensuring secure, efficient, and reliable operations. * Develop plans for maintenance and support to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations. * Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, prioritize infrastructure requirements, and ensure the safe and robust platform while improving productivity, safety, and sustainability in the factory. * Create and document best practices, and mentor team members to foster growth and improve infrastructure operations. * Participate in an on-call rotation together with other team members to support the 24/7 operation of critical infrastructure. Specific to this role, we would like to see that you can tick off a fair amount of the boxes below * A University degree or equivalent experience, Bachelor or Master’s in Engineering or Computer Science. * Relevant experience in datacenter operations. * Hands-on experience with configuring and managing virtualization environments such as VMware / Nutanix. * Hands-on experience in Infrastructure provisioning and configuration management via infrastructure as code (IaC) – Ansible / Terraform. * Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for Containers management, deployment and scaling. * Knowledge of Cybersecurity best practices, and experience in analyzing possible threats and vulnerabilities, embedding security standards, monitoring adherence to them, and implementing disaster recovery plans. * Experience with Active Directory and Users management systems. * Very good experience with AWS services configuration and management. * Experience with performance monitoring and troubleshooting for hosts, servers, databases, virtual machines, containers. * Good knowledge of networks and network protocols. * Experience with Data Backup solutions. * Experience with administration of Linux and Windows based systems * Experience in writing scripts with at least one scripting language - such as Python, Java, JavaScript, etc. * Experience with OT infrastructure such as Historians, HMI, Scada, Edge gateways. * Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies, and with Continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) platforms. What you’ll do We are looking for a Health and Safety Engineer you will work closely with the operational teams on site. You will act as the link between Health & Safety and operations, supporting safe, compliant, and effective ways of working across the organization. As we are building a cross-functional Health & Safety team, supporting all areas at our Boden site. In this role, you will lead the Quality & Metallurgy team and play a critical role in ensuring product quality, process performance, and continuous improvement across our operations. You will combine technical expertise with people leadership, helping to shape both our products and our ways of working as we ramp up one of the world's most advanced green steel plants. The Metallurgical Development function provides technical expertise to manufacturing operations while driving mission-focused development with a strong emphasis on quality, environmental performance, and economics. The team develops process control approaches and manufacturing procedures to support fossil-free steel production. You will work closely with Operations, Production, Engineering, and Technology teams to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards while continuously improving performance and efficiency. * Lead, develop, and support the Quality & Metallurgy team * Drive excellence in safety, health, and environmental performance * Partner with operational managers on technology and process development * Drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality, metallurgy, and manufacturing processes * Ensure the team effectively supports production units and product release activities * Provide technical expertise and guidance in metallurgy, steelmaking, and process optimization * Support the development of manufacturing procedures and process control strategies * Contribute to Stegra's mission of delivering high-quality fossil-free steel What you’ll bring You are a technically strong leader with a passion for metallurgy, quality, and continuous improvement.
