TL;DR: We're hiring a Global Mobility & Immigration Lead to own immigration, relocation, and expat support as Lovable scales across Sweden, the UK, the US, and beyond. You'll set policy, run cases end-to-end, manage vendors, and personally support employees and their families through complex cross-border moves — while building the AI-native systems and self-service guidance that make global mobility easy to navigate as we grow. Why Lovable? Lovable lets anyone and everyone build software with any language. From solopreneurs to Fortune 100 teams, millions of people use Lovable to transform raw ideas into real products - fast. We are at the forefront of a foundational shift in software creation, which means you have an unprecedented opportunity to change the way the digital world works. Lovable-built applications and websites are visited hundreds of millions of times a month, and our enterprise footprint is compounding fast. And we’re just getting started. We’re a small, talent-dense team building a generation-defining company from Stockholm. We value extreme ownership, high velocity, and low-ego collaboration. We seek out people who care deeply, ship fast, and are eager to make a dent in the world. The Role This role sits at the intersection of policy design, operational execution, and human support. You’ll be the single accountable owner for immigration, relocation, and expatriate matters globally. You’ll set frameworks, manage vendors, and personally support employees (and their families) through complex and often stressful cross-border transitions. This isn’t a paperwork-processing role. It requires strong judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and the emotional intelligence to support employees - while using AI to build scalable, well-instrumented systems as our hiring and relocation volume grows. This is an operator role with the ability to execute pragmatically and strategically. What You’ll Own * Global Mobility & Relocation — Design, implement, and iterate relocation and mobility policy and execution for international hires and internal transfers (housing, registrations, personal number pathways, social security, tax onboarding, benefits coordination). * Employee & Family Support — Be the trusted point of contact for relocating employees and their families. Deliver calm, clear guidance through high-stakes moments, balancing policy consistency with individual context. * Vendor & Stakeholder Management — Own relationships with immigration counsel and relocation vendors. Partner deeply with People Ops, Legal, Finance, Talent, and leadership on workforce planning, location strategy, and risk mitigation. * Build AI-Native Global Mobility Function — Redesign how mobility is delivered using AI: * Build employee-facing “next step” guidance that is personalized, multilingual, and always up to date. * Create internal copilots and checklists for case management, document quality, and exception handling. * Instrument the journey with metrics (time-to-permit, time-to-settle, employee satisfaction) and use insights to continuously improve. * Maintain strict privacy and compliance boundaries—AI should increase trust, not reduce it. What We’re Looking For * Proven experience owning global mobility and immigration, with specific expertise in Sweden, UK and USA. * Experience scaling a mobility function in a high-growth tech company. * Track record running cases end-to-end (not just overseeing), including complex scenarios and exceptions. * Strong policy and operational ability: you can design frameworks and execute cases in the same week. * Experience managing vendors (relocation providers, immigration counsel) with clear SLAs and quality standards. * High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity; able to support employees who are stressed, confused, or unfamiliar with local systems. * Excellent organization and attention to detail, paired with pragmatic judgment. * Demonstrated use of AI/automation to improve operations or employee experience. About your application Please submit your application in English. It’s our company language, so you’ll be speaking lots of it if you join. We treat all candidates equally - if you’re interested, please apply through our careers portal.
