ABOUT HELIN Helin shapes a better world by upgrading the present. We help large offshore and industrial operators improve the performance of globally deployed assets such as vessels, offshore platforms, heavy-lift assets, and wind farms. Our industrial edge computing platform removes the complexity of operational improvement, much like a smartphone simplifies everyday tasks—by enabling companies to build custom applications on a unified data foundation to solve real-world challenges. Our team brings deep expertise in advanced analytics and edge computing. We excel at solving complex technical puzzles and are at the forefront of deploying innovative-edge analytics solutions as a service worldwide. The Helin Platform delivers measurable improvements in efficiency and safety, creating billions in value for the marine, offshore, and energy sectors. We work with industry leaders such as Boskalis and BP. Our Vision AI-based Red Zone Manager solution monitors hazardous areas to improve crew safety, while the Helin Platform enables customers to develop and deploy their own AI and machine learning applications across their fleets at scale. We are a team of 60+ professionals representing 35+ nationalities, based in Rijswijk. WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS As our Senior Account Manager, you drive our revenue growth within our offshore markets segment (including energy, marine, and industrial offshore operations) for the EMEA region, reporting directly to the Commercial Director. You work closely together with our broad network of offshore contractors, asset owners, and operators (e.g. drilling, heavy lifting, subsea, and installation) on resolving blind spots in crew safety and operational excellence. This is a 100% hunter role. You will sell the Helin Platform together with our Red Zone Manager solution to offshore operators, contractors, and service providers across the EMEA region. You'll identify technological bottlenecks, work with pre-sales and engineering to design solutions, and build business cases demonstrating clear ROI. This role suits someone who is comfortable operating in complex enterprise environments and understands how oil and gas organizations actually work. WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE * Prospect and close (enterprise) deals with offshore contractors, operators, and service providers across energy, marine, and infrastructure segments across the EMEA region. * Drive signed ARR growth through new assets and new logo acquisition. * Navigate 6–9-month sales cycles with multi-stakeholder buying committees (safety, operations, IT/OT, procurement). * Show quantified outcomes: reduced incident rates, improved uptime, faster response to operational anomalies. * Shape product roadmap. Your insights directly influence what we build next. * You are expected to take ownership. Of accounts. Of priorities. Of outcomes. WHAT YOU BRING * 10+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience in the offshore sector (e.g.heavy lifting, subsea/pipelaying, drilling, marine contracting, or offshore services). * Proven experience engaging offshore contractors and operators, managing complex sales cycles driven by technical validation and clear ROI. * Problem-first approach: lead with customer challenges, not product features. * Technical understanding: confidently engage on edge computing, industrial IoT, AI/ML, and OT/IT convergence with technical stakeholders. * Commercial judgment: know when to qualify out, when to involve pre-sales, and how to prioritize for maximum ROI. * Excellent English communication across operations, safety, and technology stakeholders. * Based in the Netherlands or willing to relocate. * We value clear thinking, direct communication, and accountability. Sales is treated as a strategic function, not a volume game. NICE TO HAVE * Understanding of offshore operations: drilling, subsea, heavy lift, marine, or offshore energy environments. * Existing EMEA oil & gas relationships (UK, Netherlands, Norway, Germany). * Experience selling vision AI, computer vision, or industrial safety monitoring. * Experience in scale-up or high-growth SaaS environments, with exposure to evolving go-to-market models and rapid commercial scaling. WHY JOIN HELIN? * Your deals directly impact crew safety on offshore assets such as vessels, platforms, and installation sites. * This technology prevents incidents and saves lives. * Own high-impact territory with autonomy to define your approach. * Pre-sales engineers handle technical POCs. * The product team ships feature within quarters. You report directly to leadership. * Shape pitch decks, pricing models, deal structures, and market positioning. * Flat structure. Your ideas reach decision-makers immediately. WHAT WE OFFER * A meaningful opportunity to transform industrial data into safer, smarter, real-time decisions worldwide * A diverse, multicultural environment with 60+ colleagues from 38 nationalities * Competitive base salary * Pension scheme * SARs (Stock Appreciation Rights) plan * €3,000 annual learning & development budget * 24 vacation days on top of public holidays * Complimentary lunch at the office * Hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) * Commuting expenses fully covered OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS * Recruiter screening (30 min) – online * Peer interviews (60 min) – online * Final meeting with the Hiring manager (60 min) – in-person We respond within 3 business days. The process takes 2–3 weeks. DATA PRIVACY POLICY Please refer to our Data Privacy Policy.
