ABOUT THE JOB Flatpay has become one of the fastest-growing payment companies by helping merchants accept payments in-store and online. But with 100,000+ merchants relying on us today, payments are only part of running a business — every transaction eventually needs to land in the books, and that's still far too much manual work. Accounting and Bookkeeping is one of Flatpay's most strategic engineering domains. We're building the products and platforms that turn transaction data into clean books and accurate financial records — including integrations with the accounting systems our merchants already use. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in defining the technical direction of Flatpay's accounting platform — from how we model financial data, to how we build systems that handle real-world bookkeeping at scale and connect reliably with the third-party systems on the other end. This is an opportunity to join a company that has grown from startup to unicorn at record speed. You'll have significant ownership, the freedom to drive technical decisions, and a direct impact on tools that 100,000+ businesses can rely on. As we expand across markets — each with its own accounting practices, tax rules, and reporting requirements — you'll help shape how Flatpay scales financial infrastructure. If you care deeply about the accuracy financial data demands, this is a domain where your work will play a central role in Flatpay's future growth. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Design and build scalable systems that power Flatpay's accounting and bookkeeping capabilities * Lead feature and platform initiatives involving multiple engineers, driving delivery from discovery through production * Take ownership of features from design and implementation through deployment and maintenance * Drive architectural decisions and long-term technical improvements * Build APIs, services, and data models that handle financial data accurately and at scale * Improve reliability, observability, performance, and security across the platform — with particular attention to the accuracy and consistency that financial data requires * Partner with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to drive technical and product outcomes * Help establish engineering standards and best practices as the Accounting and Bookkeeping domain continues to grow WHO YOU ARE * 7+ years of professional software engineering experience * Strong experience designing and operating distributed systems * Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects involving multiple engineers and influence architectural decisions * Experience building scalable backend platforms and APIs, especially ones that integrate with internal and third-party systems * Comfortable navigating ambiguity and helping shape new products and systems * Strong communication and collaboration skills * Experience within payments, accounting and bookkeeping systems, or financial data platforms is a plus You'll be working with technologies such as the following. We don't expect experience with every technology listed below. We're looking for engineers who can learn quickly and help us build great products. Backend * Java, Spring Boot * MySQL * REST APIs & Event-Driven Architecture * Domain Driven Design * Docker, AWS Frontend * TypeScript * React * TanStack Query * Jest * Playwright * i18n, feature flags Platform & Delivery * GitHub Actions * CI/CD * AWS ECS * Observability & Monitoring WHY FLATPAY? As part of our team, you'll join 2,000+ passionate Flatpayers dedicated to shaping the future of payments. You'll help build a strategic new business area from the ground up, working on products that directly connect merchants and consumers while shaping the future of online payments at Flatpay. We offer an inclusive environment where engineers are trusted with ownership and encouraged to make an impact. Our engineering teams work together from our Copenhagen office. We believe that close collaboration, quick feedback loops, and solving problems side-by-side help us build better products, move faster, and create a stronger engineering culture. We also provide plenty of perks including free slush ice, an on-site gym, a fully equipped gamer room, and much more. If you're ready to help build and scale the future of payments, we'd love to hear from you.
ABOUT THE JOB At Flatpay, we're building products that make running a business simpler. Thousands of merchants rely on our payment solutions every day. As we continue growing across our product surfaces, we're looking for a Product Designer who can turn complex merchant needs into products that are intuitive, reliable, and commercially impactful. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Flatpay Product Designer, you'll design for merchants who don't have time for clunky software. As we grow beyond point-of-sale and payments into financial services, online, and beyond, the ambition stays the same: build tools so intuitive and reliable they get out of the way and the merchant can just get on with running their business. That's how we earn trust — not by being flashy, but by being dependable, close to our customers, and genuinely on their side. It's a high bar, and it's yours to hit. What success after 3 months looks like: * Built real knowledge of merchant needs from field visits, not just secondhand notes * Shipped customer-centric designs informed by data and merchant feedback * Established a working rhythm with the PMs and engineers you partner with * Contributed to our design system rather than working around it * Become fluent in our AI prototyping process and use it to move ideas quickly * Started tracking the impact of your work and pushing the refinements that follow WHO YOU ARE How you think matters more to us than how many years you've worked or which frameworks you know. We're looking for someone curious, rigorous, and kind. Primary requirements * At least 2-4 years producing high-quality UI for web and mobile * A portfolio that shows real product-design skill: Figma and Figma components, user-centered design and research, a record of impact, and a strong eye for craft and pixel-level detail * Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team * A self-starter and a kind, supportive teammate * Fluent in English, written and verbal * On site in the Copenhagen office You likely bring * AI prototyping and design processes — using AI tools to prototype and explore ideas quickly, and to streamline the design workflow * Experience designing checkout, payment flows, lending, cash advance, or other financial-services products * Experience in the fintech/payments industry * French, Italian, Dutch, Danish, Finnish, or German is a plus DESIGN AT FLATPAY We're a small, international design team — six designers across three product domains and growing. What defines us is a genuine commitment to staying close to the people we're designing for: merchant visits, country trips, sharing early and often, and designing in the open to be inspired by and learn from each other. We make space for the bigger conversations too — not just critique of the work, but strategy, growth, and the things that shape how we design. How we work is shaped by the people who join — one designer introduced a buddy programme pairing colleagues across domains and seniority levels, and that kind of thing actually sticks here. Growth conversations are built in, kindness is a given, and there's a real seat at the table for someone who wants to help shape what this team becomes. We're also in the middle of a genuine shift in how design work happens. We've built internal AI tools that let designers prototype with our own product components in minutes, synthesise months of behavioural data into clear user stories, and run market research at scale. We've brought in external coaches, send designers to conferences, run a company hackathon twice a year, and give everyone dedicated time, an open AI budget, and a mandate to experiment. We want teammates who are genuinely curious about what AI means for the designer's craft — not someone who already knows every tool, just someone with a growth mindset and the willingness to lean in. We'll coach you on the rest. WHY FLATPAY? You'll join an ambitious, metric-driven, fast-growing fintech that believes in the power of personal connections — with our customers and with each other. You'll work on early-stage products where your design decisions have a sizeable impact on what gets built. You'll be an early member of our growing Product Design team, with the room to shape its processes, culture, and your own role. Decision paths are short, and you'll learn alongside senior leaders with over 15 years' experience. We have a modern Copenhagen office with an international, vibrant feel — free slush ice, an in-office gym, a fully equipped gamer room, and plenty of other fun things around the place. If your experience doesn't perfectly align with every point above, we'd still love to hear from you. When you apply, please share your resume and a link to a PDF or web portfolio showcasing your design work.
Veo is a global leader in AI-based sports camera technology. Our innovative, fully automatic camera solution enables sports teams to record matches and training sessions without a camera operator. We’re democratizing the world of sports by granting video analysis for teams on all levels—a privilege that used to be only for the few. More than 40,000 clubs in 90+ countries record their games every week. But what truly sets us apart? Our people. We’re a diverse group of innovative thinkers, creators, and problem-solvers who believe in delivering an incredible product—and having fun while doing it. The Opportunity We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer for Veo's Revenue Enablement Group (REG). REG is the engine behind Veo's revenue. It's a core part of the business, owning the payment systems that process every transaction, the tooling our sales team relies on to close and grow accounts, and the monetisation work that turns interest in Veo into paying customers. You'll build full-stack products end to end on a modern, pragmatic stack, working on the systems that help more people find, buy, and stay with Veo's sports technology. The surface is wide, so you'll get your hands on a real range of problems rather than a single narrow lane.
