JOB PURPOSE This role is part of our Experience & Engineering team in the DACH region. We combine technology and experience design to create emotive yet conversion-focused CX platforms, Apps, Online Shops and Design systems at scale and speed. Our specialty is digital experiences and communication that change perceptions and shape new behaviours to make a difference in the market. You will lead and further develop our DACH UX practice across the entire value chain — from research to delivery. You will balance craft excellence, delivery quality, and operational health, while shaping a strong and future-ready UX department. You will also lead international project teams for ambitious brands to create user-centered experiences that drive measurable growth. WHAT YOU’LL DO: * Driving innovation and delivering excellence: As the UX Lead for key accounts or in new business, you’ll set the standard for user-centric design and ensure that our work delivers strategic business impact. * Delivery accountability: You are accountable for the department’s delivery excellence. You not only monitor quality but also collaborate with the EMEA UX leadership team to develop new capabilities and processes that ensure we stay ahead of the competition. * Operational accountability: You proactively manage the department’s operational health as well as the client and team satisfaction. * Foster cross-functional and international alignment: You will foster close collaboration with international teams across the EMEA region as well as with other crafts such as Strategy, Visual Design, Content and Tech, ensuring that our local UX practice does not operate in isolation but serves as a driving force for collective growth. * Champion thought leadership: You will act as an internal and external voice, showcasing our pioneering work through speaking engagements and industry contributions to build our reputation as a growth innovation company. WHAT YOU BRING: * Work experience: Over 15 years of experience in UX and product design, combined with in-depth expertise in complex digital ecosystems and fast-paced agency environments, with proven experience working with large, international brands and complex stakeholder environments. While experience in e-commerce isn't mandatory, it would be a great advantage. * Portfolio: A proven track record across the entire UX value chain—from in-depth user research and strategic planning to hands-on concepts and iterative testing. Your portfolio demonstrates high-impact results and measurable business growth. * Leadership: You have over 10 years' experience in people leadership. Managing and mentoring high-level talent, such as Leads, Principals and Associate Directors, would be an added bonus. * Operational Excellence: You know how to handle urgent requests or escalations with a performance- and solution-oriented approach. * Tech and AI savvy: Not only are you curious about digital trends, AI and new technologies, you are also committed to incorporating relevant innovations into your work. * Communication and influence: The ability to transform complex UX strategies into persuasive pitches that convince senior stakeholders and establish the trust required for long-term partnerships. We seek a Principal QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Cypress, JavaScript/TypeScript, and proven experience working in AI-driven applications within an AWS cloud environment. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of quality engineering, automation strategy, and modern AI integration. As a senior technical leader, you will own the design, development, and maintenance of a robust test automation framework, ensure seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines, and bring forward-thinking approaches to testing intelligent, adaptive systems. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end test automation frameworks using Cypress with TypeScript. * Define quality strategies for applications with AI/ML components, including deterministic and non-deterministic testing approaches. * Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and AI/ML teams to ensure quality across AI-infused features in production environments. * Build and scale testing strategies for threaded AI applications running in AWS cloud infrastructure. * Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support frequent, reliable deployments. * Mentor and guide mid- and senior-level QA engineers, setting best practices and driving a culture of quality-first development. * Evaluate and introduce new tools, libraries, and frameworks to improve test coverage, performance, and developer experience. * Participate in architectural discussions to ensure testability and reliability are baked into software designs from the start. * Analyze test results, track quality metrics, and communicate risk and coverage to stakeholders. QUALIFICATIONS * 4+ years of hands-on experience with Cypress for UI and end-to-end automation testing. * Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript and Python * Proven experience testing AI-powered or machine learning applications, including AI model validation techniques. * Strong understanding of AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, SQS, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS) and how to validate applications deployed in cloud environments. * Experience with threaded/multi-agent AI tools and how they impact test design and validation. * Familiarity with version control (Git), containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI). * Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Knowledge of AI model evaluation, model versioning, and monitoring tools (e.g., SageMaker, MLflow, LangChain, Vector Databases). * Experience testing APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures. * Background in testing non-deterministic systems, including applying statistical or heuristic testing approaches. * Contributions to open-source testing or AI tools are a plus. Your Mission As lemon.markets continues to grow and expands the range of instruments on our platform, corporate actions will naturally become a bigger and more important part of our day-to-day operations. That’s why we’re hiring our first Corporate Actions Specialist: someone who takes full ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle, from announcement capture and validation through elections, entitlement calculation, to final settlement and reconciliation. You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering to shape how the process should run and to translate it into clear documentation and system requirements. Once live, you’ll ensure the daily execution is smooth, consistent, and customer-first, because these events sit at the heart of a reliable investing experience. Over time, you’ll help us automate as much as possible as volumes grow, while also raising corporate actions knowledge across the Investing Operations team. This role is a unique chance to build, run, and continuously optimise an entire function. In this role you will: * Own the end-to-end corporate actions lifecycle across our growing instrument universe, from announcement capture and validation through elections processing, entitlement calculation, and final settlement. * Partner with Product and Engineering to design and scale the operating model, turning real-world event flows into clear requirements, workflows, and screens that work in practice. * Coordinate seamlessly with external stakeholders (custodians, issuers, depositories, brokers, and other counterparties) to ensure events are processed accurately and on time. * Manage regulatory, tax, and market reporting obligations, meeting disclosure requirements, market deadlines, and internal control standards. * Drive continuous improvement and automation, standardising processes, reducing operational risk, and implementing system and tooling enhancements as volumes increase. * Build and share corporate actions knowledge internally, creating SOPs, event playbooks, operational handbooks, and policy documentation to upskill the broader team. You’ll be successful in this role if you: * Bring deep, hands-on experience in Corporate Actions Operations across fintechs, banks, custodians, brokers, or asset servicers, covering the full end-to-end lifecycle from event capture and validation through elections, taxation, reconciliation, and settlement. Exposure to broader investment/market operations is a strong plus. * Have practical familiarity with the German retail investing market, and understand how European regulatory requirements translate into day-to-day operational realities (e.g., tax reporting, disclosures, and market deadlines). * Are comfortable operating within custody structures and market infrastructure (including CSDs/depositories) and can build effective working relationships with custodians and other counterparties. * Thrive in complex exception management, confidently running investigations end-to-end (e.g., cash/securities breaks, tax discrepancies, rate validations) and driving issues through to clear, documented resolution. * Pair an eye for detail with a strong risk, controls, and auditability mindset, ensuring outcomes are accurate, timely, and scalable. * Have a track record of driving process improvements and automation, partnering closely with Product and Engineering to remove manual work and reduce operational risk. * Communicate fluently in English (C1); German is a plus but not required.
