Till vår kund Siemens Energy, en ledande global aktör inom energibranschen, söker vi nu en Mechanical Integrity Engineer för ett uppdrag på deras site i Finspång.

Det här är inledningsvis ett konsultuppdrag på ca 6 månader via Unik Resurs med mycket god möjlighet till förlängning.
Vi tillämpar löpande urval vilket innebär att uppdraget kan komma att tillsättas tidigare än sista ansökningsdatum.
Arbetsuppgifter och ansvarsområden
Vill du arbeta med avancerad teknik och bidra till utvecklingen av framtidens gasturbiner? Vi söker nu en Mechanical Integrity Engineer till ett team som arbetar med mekanisk integritet och livslängdsbedömning av turbinkomponenter.
I den här rollen blir du en viktig del av utvecklingsprojekten där du analyserar och säkerställer komponenters hållfasthet och livslängd. Du utgår från kontoret i Finspång, med möjlighet att arbeta på distans vid behov.
Som Mechanical Integrity Engineer kommer du bland annat att:
Utföra hållfasthets- och livslängdsanalyser med hjälp av finita elementmetoden (FEA) och andra numeriska modeller.
Samarbeta med tvärfunktionella team för att samla in och analysera data som ligger till grund för beräkningar och bedömningar.
Bidra till utveckling och förbättring av metoder och processer för livslängdsanalyser.
Säkerställa att analyser och beräkningar håller hög teknisk kvalitet.

Vi söker dig som har
Högskole- eller civilingenjörsexamen inom maskinteknik eller annat relevant tekniskt område.
Erfarenhet av strukturanalyser samt god förståelse för bakomliggande principer och analysmetoder.
Erfarenhet av analysverktyg som ABAQUS, HyperWorks och/eller NASGRO.
Goda kunskaper i engelska, både i tal och skrift.
En samarbetsinriktad inställning, ett analytiskt arbetssätt och en vilja att utvecklas tillsammans med teamet.

What You Bring Master or PhD degree in CFD, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, energy or similar Strong background in fluid dynamics, with experience in turbulence modeling and thermal analysis for both fluid and solid systems. About the Team Join a dedicated group of engineers in the CFD, Heat transfer and Mechanical integrity team, where specialized skills in fluid dynamics and heat transfer drive product innovation. The team leverages advanced computer modeling techniques to tackle challenges in both solid and fluid systems, ensuring products meet demanding thermal and performance requirements. Our department is highly focused on increasing fuel flexibility, including the use of gaseous and liquid fuels such as hydrogen, ammonia and biofuels. As part of our team of skilled engineers, you will play a crucial role in designing and operating combustion systems that are reliable, robust, and highly efficient. We are now looking for a Senior Mechanical Structural Engineer who wants to help shape the next generation of renewable energy technology. About the Role As a Senior Mechanical Structural Engineer at SeaPattern, you will play a key role in ensuring the structural integrity, durability, and reliability of our floating hydrokinetic turbine systems. You will lead the structural design of critical components throughout the product development lifecycle from concept development and prototyping to industrialization and deployment. Working closely with mechanical design engineers, CFD engineers, manufacturing, and testing teams, you will develop robust, efficient, and cost-effective structural solutions capable of operating in demanding marine environments. This is a role for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges where structural performance, manufacturability, and long-term reliability all matter equally. Your work will include: Performing structural analyses and finite element simulations (FEA) to validate and optimize designs. Developing structural designs for turbine systems and supporting components. Selecting materials based on structural performance, corrosion resistance, fatigue life, and manufacturability. Collaborating closely with mechanical design engineers to ensure seamless integration between structural and mechanical systems. Defining and supporting structural testing, validation, and verification activities. Evaluating structural performance through simulations, laboratory testing, and field validation. Driving design improvements based on testing results and operational feedback. Supporting design reviews, technical documentation, and engineering decision-making. Continuously improving structural design methodologies, analysis tools, and engineering best practices. Who We're Looking For We believe you're an experienced structural engineer who combines strong analytical capabilities with a practical engineering mindset. You enjoy taking ownership, solving technically challenging problems, and working closely with colleagues across multiple engineering disciplines. To succeed in this role, you likely have: A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in structural analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), or CAE engineering. Strong knowledge of structural analysis and finite element modelling (ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar). Experience designing structures subjected to dynamic loading, fatigue, and demanding operating environments. You are also an engineer who enjoys collaboration, communicates clearly in English, and has a genuine passion for developing next-generation renewable energy technology.
