ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Founders Associate to work directly with our CEO and shape how Finto operates and grows. This is not a support role — you'll be in the room where decisions happen, own real projects, and move fast across GTM, operations, and hiring. You'll drive enterprise sales processes, build the operational backbone of a scaling company, and help us hire the team that takes Finto to the next level. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Accompany our GTM motion: Work with the CEO on deals, build pipeline, and implement the basics of our first marketing — from outreach to messaging to follow-ups. * Run recruiting operations: Identify and approach top talent, run sourcing and screenings, and accompany the onboarding of new team members. * Build our internal ops: Design and improve internal structures and processes, ensuring we're running in sync as the team grows. * Work side-by-side with the CEO on daily business — removing blockers along the way, acting as a sparring partner on decisions big and small. * Context-switch constantly — no two weeks look the same. One day you're prepping a customer pitch, the next you're closing a hire. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * 1–3 years of experience in consulting, venture capital, high-growth startups, or a similarly demanding environment. * Degree from a top business school or university — strong academic track record in Business, Management, Economics, or a related field. * Exceptionally smart and structured thinker who can get up to speed on anything fast. * High agency — you don't wait to be told what to do, you figure it out and execute. * Strong communicator in German and English, comfortable working directly with founders in a high-speed environment. * Genuinely ambitious: you care about what you're building and want to grow into more responsibility over time. * Grit — things will be unclear, fast, and sometimes messy. You thrive in that. ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a founding Solution Engineer to join our founding team and lead the adoption of Finto’s AI-powered automation for some of the world’s largest enterprises. You’ll be the trusted partner guiding finance teams through onboarding, integration, and - most importantly - putting AI directly into their hands so they can radically reduce manual work and unlock new levels of productivity. This is not a typical customer success role - its a technical, customer-facing role. You’ll focus on the time to value including data-set-up, workflow design, and change management. You’ll work closely with our founders to make sure customers embrace AI as a core part of their daily job. We’re headquartered in Munich, with roots in San Francisco through Y Combinator. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Lead enterprise customers from contract signature through full-scale adoption, ensuring successful rollout and long-term expansion. * Work directly with finance teams to redesign critical processes, embedding AI where it creates the most business value. * Partner closely with customers to deeply understand their ERP environment, data structures, accounting workflows, and success metrics. * Serve as the bridge between customers and our engineering team - gathering requirements, translating feedback into product insights, and surfacing unmet needs. * Analyze AI performance using evals, with a strong affinity for SQL and working with complex, real-world customer data * Build playbooks, onboarding frameworks, and training materials to create a scalable foundation for customer success WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR * 2-3+ years in solution engineering, consulting, or forward deployed engineering with enterprise customers. * Experience driving adoption of complex software, ideally AI-powered or automation platforms. Familiarity with finance operations, APIs, ERP systems, or accounting workflows is a strong plus. * Exceptional communication skills - able to train, inspire, and win over buyers, key users, IT leaders and your team members * Proven ability to lead change management initiatives and help teams adopt new ways of working * Hands-on problem-solver with a proactive, can-do approach. * Thrives in fast-paced, early-stage environments with high autonomy. * Passion for making AI a practical, everyday tool for real people. As part of the founding engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our platform and helping some of the world’s largest companies eliminate their manual accounting work. You’ll work side-by-side with our founders to turn ideas into high-performing, elegant features that slot seamlessly into our customers’ existing processes. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Build and enhance AI-powered automation tools for invoice processing, ERP integration, and complete accounting workflows. * Architect performant, scalable, and reliable solutions for mission-critical finance operations. * Optimize and refine AI models for accuracy, speed, and usability in real-world scenarios. * Deliver exceptional user experiences through thoughtful UI/UX design, using frameworks like React, Node. * Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI, Web, ERP technology, and automation - and bring the best of them into our platform. * Troubleshoot and resolve complex challenges, ensuring our AI-powered workflows run reliably at scale. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR * 3–5+ years in full-stack development, ideally building AI-powered or enterprise-focused products. * Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills with experience in React and Next.js. * Backend expertise in Node.js or comparable languages like Python or Go, with a focus on scalable APIs and AI-driven services. * Hands-on experience with AI models and APIs * A builder’s mindset - passionate about developer experience and how AI can enhance productivity. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in fast-moving, collaborative environments.
