ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Product Engineer Intern to join our team, focused on building and optimizing the next generation of AI-powered enterprise finance tools. As part of the engineering team, you will play a central role in shaping dedicated features and helping some of the world’s largest companies eliminate their manual accounting work. You’ll work side-by-side with our founders and engineers to turn ideas into high-performing, elegant features that slot seamlessly into our customers’ existing processes. Your work will directly define how finance teams experience AI automation - in real life, at scale. We’re headquartered in Munich, with roots in San Francisco through Y Combinator. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Take ownership of a defined feature area or technical project, working closely with founders and engineers from discovery to delivery. * Help improve model performance and workflow quality by testing, evaluating results, and iterating on prompts/data/logic. * Contribute to frontend and backend development (React, Node) to deliver smooth, reliable user experiences. * Assist with debugging, monitoring, and improving reliability of AI-powered workflows in real-world customer scenarios. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR * Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with strong academic performance. * Solid JavaScript/TypeScript skills with experience in React and Next.js. * Backend expertise in Node.js or comparable languages like Python or Go, with a focus on scalable APIs and AI-driven services. * Exposure to AI models and APIs (e.g., LLMs), and excitement to experiment, evaluate, and integrate them into real products. * A builder’s mindset - enjoys shipping and learning quickly * Structured problem-solver with clear communication skills, comfortable working closely with founders in a fast-moving environment. About the role We are looking for a Tech Lead to own the technical direction of our platform and grow with us as the engineering team scales. You'll combine deep hands-on engineering with architectural leadership - setting the standard for how we build, ship, and operate AI-powered finance software at enterprise scale. You'll work directly with our CTO and founding team to make the critical technical decisions that define our product and platform. This is not a management-only role - you'll write code, shape architecture, mentor engineers, and drive the technical roadmap. What you'll do * Own architecture and technical direction across our platform - from AI pipelines and ERP integrations to frontend and infrastructure. * Build and ship production features end-to-end, setting the bar for quality, speed, and reliability. * Drive the technical roadmap together with our CTO, translating product ambitions into engineering plans. * Mentor and grow engineers on the team - through code reviews, pairing, and setting engineering standards. * Make pragmatic technology and design decisions that balance speed with long-term scalability. * Optimize AI model performance and workflow reliability in real-world, mission-critical customer scenarios. What we're looking for * 5+ years of full-stack development experience, with a track record of building and shipping complex products - ideally AI-powered or enterprise-focused. * Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills with deep experience in React and Next.js. * Backend expertise in Node.js or comparable languages like Python or Go, with a focus on scalable APIs and AI-driven services. * Hands-on experience with AI models and APIs - you've integrated, evaluated, and optimized LLMs in production. * Proven ability to make sound architectural decisions and own technical direction across a product. * Experience mentoring engineers and raising the bar for engineering quality in a team. * A builder's mindset - you care about outcomes, not process, and you ship fast without cutting corners. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in fast-moving, collaborative environments. ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a founding Solution Engineer to join our founding team and lead the adoption of Finto’s AI-powered automation for some of the world’s largest enterprises. You’ll be the trusted partner guiding finance teams through onboarding, integration, and - most importantly - putting AI directly into their hands so they can radically reduce manual work and unlock new levels of productivity. This is not a typical customer success role - its a technical, customer-facing role. You’ll focus on the time to value including data-set-up, workflow design, and change management. You’ll work closely with our founders to make sure customers embrace AI as a core part of their daily job. We’re headquartered in Munich, with roots in San Francisco through Y Combinator. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Lead enterprise customers from contract signature through full-scale adoption, ensuring successful rollout and long-term expansion. * Work directly with finance teams to redesign critical processes, embedding AI where it creates the most business value. * Partner closely with customers to deeply understand their ERP environment, data structures, accounting workflows, and success metrics. * Serve as the bridge between customers and our engineering team - gathering requirements, translating feedback into product insights, and surfacing unmet needs. * Analyze AI performance using evals, with a strong affinity for SQL and working with complex, real-world customer data * Build playbooks, onboarding frameworks, and training materials to create a scalable foundation for customer success WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR * 2-3+ years in solution engineering, consulting, or forward deployed engineering with enterprise customers. * Experience driving adoption of complex software, ideally AI-powered or automation platforms. Familiarity with finance operations, APIs, ERP systems, or accounting workflows is a strong plus. * Exceptional communication skills - able to train, inspire, and win over buyers, key users, IT leaders and your team members * Proven ability to lead change management initiatives and help teams adopt new ways of working * Hands-on problem-solver with a proactive, can-do approach. * Thrives in fast-paced, early-stage environments with high autonomy. * Passion for making AI a practical, everyday tool for real people.
