The Role: As a Procurement Lead - Functional Expert, you will collaborate closely with clients, partners, and the product team to map complex procurement workflows, optimize functional solutions, and drive continuous improvement. Your functional expertise will be instrumental in strengthening our clients' spend management strategies and ensuring their long-term success. WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US * Lead end-to-end implementations of various functional processes (Procure-to-Pay, Source-to-Contract, Supplier Relationship Management) through to go-live. * Deploy our agentic AI solutions by leveraging your solid procurement domain expertise and natural language processing (prompting and functional logic) to adapt AI behaviors to the client's specific business context. * Actively work with the Solution Architect during the design phase by sharing best practices with the client or partner, conducting product demonstrations, performing fit-gap analyses, and taking full functional responsibility for the design document. * Collaborate closely alongside solution architects to demonstrate product value and share best practices with the client or partner. * Support partners during implementation by providing design feedback and conducting configuration reviews during deployments. * Oversee and contribute to the delivery and deployment plan, ultimately ensuring successful go-lives. * Configure the solution and coordinate efforts with other team members to ensure project milestones are met. * Integrate customer feedback to evaluate and improve product features. * Provide PMO (Project Management Office) support and assist with change management initiatives to drive end-user adoption. YOUR PROFILE Skills & Experience * Master’s degree (Bac +5) in procurement, business/management, supply chain management, or a related field. * 5+ years of functional experience in procurement, SRM (Supplier Relationship Management), and supply chain. * Prior experience in software and SaaS (Software as a Service) implementation projects is a plus. * Proven experience in driving digital transformation via leading cloud procurement platforms, with a strong ability to leverage natural language to drive AI/automation tools. * Experience in managing client & partner relationships, facilitating workshops, and acting as a "Trusted Advisor". * Strong functional knowledge of the Source-to-Pay (S2P) cycle, combined with excellent project management skills. * Relevant certifications in procurement or project management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, PMP) are highly desirable. Soft Skills * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire clients during workshops and build strong, collaborative partnerships. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment, collaborating closely with clients and partners. * Autonomous, results-oriented, proactive, and flexible. * Ability to coach and mentor peers on procurement and spend management processes. * Excellent command of English. You will serve as a primary subject matter expert across hedge fund and private credit technology, operations, and administrator relationships, owning client delivery, shaping our methodology, and building the internal knowledge base that scales the practice. This is not a support role: you will lead engagements, work directly with COOs, CFOs, and operations leadership at hedge fund and private credit clients, and represent Alpha's point of view in competitive situations. A reasonable estimate of the salary range is $162,000 - $210,000 USD, subject to change based on salary benchmarking.
