JOIN PROTON AND BUILD A BETTER INTERNET WHERE PRIVACY IS THE DEFAULT
Proton was founded in 2014 by scientists from CERN on a simple truth: privacy is a fundamental human right. Since then, we've
built the world's largest encrypted email service (Proton Mail) and expanded into Proton VPN, Proton Drive, Proton Pass, and
Proton Calendar — tools used by millions globally to protect their freedom, fight censorship, and keep their data safe. In some
situations, Proton has literally helped save lives.
We are profitable, independent (no VC control), and selectively hire from the top ~1% of applicants. Our 700+ team members across
50+ countries come from leading organizations and elite academic backgrounds. We move fast, keep hierarchy light, and prioritize
impact over optics. If you want to do meaningful work with exceptionally high-caliber people, this is it. Check our open-source
projects here.
We're building something new at Proton and we're hiring a Senior PM to lead it from the front.
This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, community dynamics, and Proton's mission to give people back control over
their digital lives. You'll own the roadmap and execution for a product that brings privacy-first community experiences to
millions of users. The team is small and senior; the scope is large. You’ll turn an ambitious product direction into clear
strategy, crisp requirements, shipped experiences, and measurable outcomes.
We're looking for someone who has lived inside communities products: who understands how engagement compounds, why moderation
decisions shape culture, and how trust is built (and destroyed) at scale. If you've helped build or grow a platform where users
interact, organize, and belong and you want to do it in a way that doesn't exploit the people using it, this is the role.
waiting for direction from above
to track them, and course-correct fast when signals shift
clear product point of view and a prioritized execution plan
blockers early, and keep the team focused on outcomes over activity
in real behaviour, not assumptions
trade-offs, trust and safety, and network effects without needing it explained
sight of user intuition
stakeholders aligned without over-meeting
without a roadmap handed to you
Nice to Have
Mainstream community platforms often optimize for attention, ads, and control. Proton has a different opportunity: to build
community communication around privacy, user agency, and trust. This role is for a PM who understands the mechanics of social
and community products, but wants to apply them in a way that respects the people using them.

At Proton, we believe diversity drives innovation and strengthens our mission to provide privacy as a default for all. We are
committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all individuals — regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual
orientation, physical ability, or socio-economic background — feel valued and empowered.
If you need any extra support or reasonable adjustments during the hiring process, please let your talent partner know.

With offices across Geneva, Zürich, Barcelona, London and more, you'll spend most of your time collaborating face-to-face with people who genuinely care about what they're building * Food: Lunch and snacks are on us every day in our offices so you can focus on the work and not on what's for lunch. * Transport: getting to the office shouldn't cost you. We cover public transport, bike allowances, or parking, whichever works for you. * Flexible Working: you own your schedule. Set hours that work for you and your team — because outcomes matter more than when the clock says you started.

Our AI-native workspace lets legal professionals move faster, think more clearly, and operate with sharper precision. By analysing thousands of documents in minutes and powering end-to-end workflows, we cut through complexity, teams can focus on what matters: judgment, strategy, and outcomes. 1,000+ customers across 50+ countries trust us, including Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Linklaters, White & Case, Dentons, and Barclays. Wherever you land, the mandate is the same: build 0-to-1 products that help revolutionize a legacy profession. You’ll do it inside an AI-native company growing at hyper speed, with the autonomy to take ideas from a blank canvas to products that thousands of lawyers rely on every day. This is a rare chance to define entirely new categories of legal software, not iterate on the old ones. What You'll Do * Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for one of our core user-facing product areas, such as drafting, tabular review, task management, or research and regulatory products. * Build 0-to-1 products and features from the ground up, taking ideas from concept to launch and iterating quickly based on real user feedback. * Partner closely with design and engineering to ship polished, AI-native experiences with a strong bar for craft. * Deeply understand how legal professionals work, and translate their needs into intuitive, opinionated product decisions. * Use AI as a core building block, shaping how legal professionals work with and trust AI in their day-to-day. * Run experiments, instrument the right metrics, and turn data and qualitative insight into a prioritized roadmap. * Move fast in a high-growth environment, balancing speed with quality and a relentless focus on user impact. What You Bring * An experienced, senior Product Manager with a strong background building user-facing products at high-growth B2B SaaS companies. * A track record of building 0-to-1 products that have had a major impact on users. * Hands-on experience building AI-native products, where AI is a central part of the experience. * Strong product judgment and the ability to balance qualitative insight with quantitative rigor. * Excellent collaboration skills, with a history of partnering tightly with design, engineering, and other functions to ship products. * A genuine interest in revolutionizing a legacy profession and making complex software feel simple, fast, and enjoyable. * High standards, low ego, and a bias toward ownership and outcomes. Legora is an Equal Opportunity Employer At Legora, we believe great teams are built on diversity of thought and experience. We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and committed to creating an inclusive, high-performance culture where everyone can do their best work. We welcome people of all backgrounds and don’t discriminate based on race, color, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
