As Data Architect (gn) – Master Data Management, you bear the overall technical and structural responsibility for the architecture
of our master data management. In this role, you define the global master data model, design validation rules and workflows, and
ensure that data structures are perfectly harmonized across all systems. You will act as the central technical authority at the
crucial interface between business requirements and IT implementation.
The role can be done fully remote with occasional visits in the HQ in Hamburg (about 1x month in the first year, afterwards less).

In this role, you will define the governance structure, set priorities for MDM initiatives, and ensure that data ownership, decision-making rights, and processes are clearly established. You will act as the central interface between business strategy and operational data. You will define and drive the target architecture for our infrastructure while leading the transformation towards a modern, standardized, and automated environment. This is not a purely architectural role. You will work hands-on alongside the team to build the first Infrastructure as Code foundations, establish best practices, and enable the organization to adopt scalable and sustainable automation. As the key interface between the Infrastructure and the Cloud & Platform teams, you will ensure that on-premises and cloud environments are designed and operated according to shared architectural principles and standards.
