With us, you get the opportunity to realize your dreams, big and small. 📝 JOB DESCRIPTION The Junior Exterior Designer will support our clients Exterior team in the development of both concept and production vehicle programs. The assignment involves close collaboration with senior designers, digital and clay modelers, engineers and visualization specialists.   ✅ REQUIREMENTS • Create high-quality exterior design proposals and sketches aligned with our clients design vision and brand identity. • Assist senior designers with theme development, design refinement and surfacing intent. • Work closely with clay and digital modelers to translate 2D sketches into 3D physical and digital models. • Prepare design presentations, renderings, storyboards and visual materials for internal reviews. • Explore innovative ideas, materials and form languages that evolve our clients future design direction. 💫 YOUR PROFILE   Education • Master’s degree in Transportation Design, Mobility Design, or Industrial Design • Graduation from a recognized international design school is a strong plus. • 0–2 years of relevant experience (including internships). • Previous work or collaboration with a Chinese automotive brand is advantageous. • Experience in advanced design studios or concept design environments is a plus. • Excellent 2D sketching ability and strong visual storytelling skills. • Advanced proficiency in Blender (explicit requirement). • Solid understanding of form, proportion, surface development and design quality. • Familiarity with the full design development process, from ideation to physical model. • Experience collaborating with cross-functional creative teams (modelers, engineers, visualization). 🌈 Software and personal attributes Blender: advanced proficiency Photoshop: strong sketching and visualization capability Alias (or equivalent 3D CAD): beneficial Adobe Creative Suite: (InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere) Experience in video and photo editing is preferred Highly creative with a strong passion for automotive design and future mobility. Curious, open-minded and eager to learn and grow. Team-oriented with strong communication skills. Proactive, self-driven and detail-focused. With us, you get the opportunity to realize your dreams, big and small. 📝 JOB DESCRIPTION Our clients seeks a highly skilled Senior Exterior Lighting and component Designer to join their Design Studio in Gothenburg. You will help define the lighting solution for their vehicle Exteriors by conceiving, simulating, and prototyping advanced lighting concepts that merge brand identity, safety, and emotion. You will work mainly with Lighting design but also component design, collaborating with Exterior Design and Engineering to deliver future-forward lighting and component implementation that meets regulatory and performance targets.   ✅ REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial/Product/Transportation Design, Interaction/Lighting Design, or similar. • 5+ years of professional experience in automotive lighting design or closely related fields (consumer/architecture) with a strong portfolio. • Proficiency with lighting design and visualisation tools (Blender & Adobe Creative Suite). • Demonstrated experience translating light concepts into feasible, manufacturable solutions with suppliers and engineering. • Excellent communication in English (both written and verbal), with strong storytelling and presentation skills. • Hands‐on prototyping mindset; electrical/electronic basics and rapid prototyping skills are a plus. • Knowledge of automotive lighting regulations and constraints is an advantage. 💫 YOUR PROFILE • Create and deliver lighting concepts exterior systems (ambient, functional, and communication lighting). • Develop lighting solutions that match the vehicle's design character and technical constraints, suggesting light integrations into the vehicle's form (surfaces, gaps, joints, materials). • Translate brand DNA into iconic lighting signatures and dynamic behaviours (e.g., welcome/farewell, charging indication, Interior Light themes, ADAS-linked signals). • Use the lighting toolchain (visualisation, simulation, VR) to validate light effects, integration, and feasibility. • Create and lead engaging presentations or prototypes that effectively convey intent to stakeholders and suppliers. • Technically rigorous with an eye for refined aesthetics and brand character. • Structured and methodical; able to plan, document, and drive issues to closure. • Collaborative and clear communicator; comfortable leading technical reviews with stakeholders and suppliers. • Proactive, hands‐on, and resourceful under time constraints. • Independent and proactive with a high sense of responsibility. 🌈 MERITS • Experience with advanced interactive lighting technologies • Experience working in or with automotive design studios and Tier‐1 suppliers. 🏙 PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT Gothenburg 💭 OTHER • Travel to China may be needed • Fluent in English, spoken and written. • A valid driver’s license is preferred.
