Här får du arbeta hands-on med utveckling, verifiering och integration av HV-batterisystem i en tekniskt avancerad miljö där batteriet är en central del av den elektriska drivlinan. Du kommer att arbeta nära områden som electric propulsion, HV-system, verifiering och systemintegration, där samspelet mellan batteri, inverter, elmaskin och övriga fordonsfunktioner är en viktig del av utvecklingen.

I rollen som Battery System Design Engineer kommer du att arbeta med utveckling och integration av batterisystem för elektrifierade fordon, från tidiga koncept och konstruktionslösningar till verifiering, testning och färdig produkt. Rollen kombinerar praktiskt ingenjörsarbete inom batteridesign och packutveckling med ett bredare systemperspektiv inom electromobility och elektriska drivlinor.
Du kommer att vara delaktig i utvecklingen av batterimoduler och pack på systemnivå, där mekanisk integration, funktion, verifiering och kvalitet är centrala delar av arbetet. En viktig del av rollen är att analysera resultat från simuleringar och tester samt omsätta dessa till tekniska förbättringar och robusta konstruktionslösningar.
Arbetet innefattar även byggnation, driftsättning och verifiering av batterisystem inför test och leverans, samt testning och validering av modul- och packsystem i fordonsnära applikationer. Du kommer att arbeta nära andra discipliner inom electromobility, såsom HV-system, electric propulsion och systemintegration, där förståelse för samspelet mellan batteri, inverter, elmaskin och övriga fordonsfunktioner är en viktig del av utvecklingen.
I rollen ingår också teknisk support i kundprojekt, granskning och frisläppning av teknisk dokumentation samt samarbete med AVL globala nätverk inom battery systems och electromobility. Du kommer även att bidra till affärsutveckling genom teknisk expertis i offertarbete och projektförslag.

Vi söker dig som har erfarenhet av batterisystemutveckling och som samtidigt har ett brett intresse och förståelse för electromobility och elektrifierade drivlinor.
Civilingenjörsutbildning inom maskinteknik, elektroteknik, mekatronik eller motsvarande
3–5 års erfarenhet av utveckling av batterisystem inom automotive eller närliggande industri
Praktisk erfarenhet av batteridesign på modul- och packnivå inkluderat kyl- och säkerhetskoncept (Thermal Propagation)
Erfarenhet av mekanisk integration och konstruktion i CAD-miljö
God förståelse för HV-system och relevanta säkerhetsstandarder
Erfarenhet av CAD-verktyg såsom CATIA, Creo eller liknande
Mycket god kommunikationsförmåga på svenska och engelska
B-körkort
Erfarenhet av verifiering och test av batterimoduler och pack
Erfarenhet av systemintegration inom elektrifierade fordon
Erfarenhet från SOP projekt

We are looking for an experienced System Design Engineer Specialist to join an exciting product development program focused on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This is a unique opportunity to work on next-generation stationary energy storage solutions where you will play a key role in developing the electrical architecture and power conversion systems that connect large-scale battery systems to the electrical grid. The ideal candidate comes from the energy sector rather than automotive and has extensive experience with electrical power systems, substations, grid connections, or power plants.
