Now we are searching for the next star!: Main Tasks And Responsibilities * Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and deployment * Design, code, develop, test and debug C++ / C software * Review code and design * Analyse and enhance efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources * Integrate and validate new product designs * Provide post-production support to fix bugs and improve features * Work with Product Owners / Scrum Masters to estimate and prioritize requirement backlog Desired Skills And Experience * B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Electric / Electronic / Computer Engineering or equivalent * Several years (3-5) proven working experience in C/C++ * Swedish citizenship * Swedish & English speaking high level * Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets * Experience in system design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems * Deep knowledge of OS coding technique, IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems * Linux Kernel driver development experience is an added value * Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and datasheets for components * Useful to have: Defence or radiosystems experience * Strong documentation and writing competence * Proficient communication and presentation skills * Talent to build positive relationships both internally and externally * Capacity to integrate easily in a dynamic international business environment * Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and problem solve in stressful situations What We Offer: * A fast-paced and dynamic work environment with a focus on technology. * Opportunities for professional growth and career development. * Competitive compensation and benefits package. * The chance to be part of a team shaping the products of the future. * A supportive and inclusive corporate culture that values creativity and innovation.

The opportunity We're currently looking for a Group Category Manager – Corporate Services & Professional Services to join our Procurement team. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for shaping and developing key indirect procurement categories, driving strategic sourcing initiatives, and creating long-term business value. This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, leadership, and commercial impact, someone who can challenge the status quo, influence stakeholders, and turn procurement into a true value driver for the business. This position is based in Gothenburg. We believe in combining in-person collaboration with flexibility to focus where you work best. The responsibilities In this role, you'll take full ownership of your categories, ensuring they deliver measurable value to the business. As part of the Procurement organization, you will: * Lead and develop category strategies, linking procurement activities to financial and operational outcomes * Drive high-impact sourcing initiatives, including complex negotiations and supplier selection * Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and challenge business needs when required * Lead and coach a team of category professionals, including hiring and performance management * Monitor category performance, including cost optimization, supplier performance, and value creation The ideal candidate To succeed in this role, you bring a combination of strategic mindset, leadership capability, and commercial sharpness. In addition, you'll need the following qualifications: * Extensive experience in category management and indirect procurement, enabling you to identify opportunities and drive value in complex categories * Proven track record in strategic sourcing and negotiations, critical to delivering measurable business impact * Solid experience in leading teams, ensuring performance, development, and engagement * Strong analytical skills, including spend analysis and category planning, supporting fact-based decision-making * A relevant university degree (e.g. Business Administration, Engineering) and 10+ years of experience, including senior-level responsibilities Polestar is an international company, with various backgrounds represented.
