We are now seeking a Senior Embedded/Electrical Designer for one of our clients.
We are now looking for a senior consultant for our customer in advanced technology development, where you will work with complex
and safety-critical systems. The assignment is an important part of the customer's development and management work and involves
close collaboration in cross-functional teams throughout the product life cycle.
In the role, you will work both operationally and supportively in the design process. A large part of the work consists of
troubleshooting, support and analysis, where you support other designers and contribute to integration and production.
You work with products in different phases – from new development to further development and maintenance of existing systems. The
role requires that you can switch between independent work and close collaboration with colleagues in different technical areas.
Participate in electrical design and understand and work with electrical schematics at circuit and system level
Hardware-related programming and development, mainly in Codesys (IEC61131-3) and Python
Troubleshooting, analysis and technical support for development, integration and production
Work with CAN/CANopen-based systems
Ensure that the work follows established processes and guidelines
Manage products and work in an environment with high demands on confidentiality and security
Requirements
At least 8 years of experience in a relevant field
Solid experience of CAN and CANopen
Strong background in hardware-related programming, e.g. C/C++
Experience of development in Codesys (IEC61131-3) and Python
Good understanding of safety-critical real-time systems
Experience of electrical design and ability to read and understand electrical schematics at circuit and system level
Good knowledge of measurement techniques and troubleshooting
Ability to work independently, in a structured way and make your own decisions
Good communication skills and experience of collaborating in teams
Meritorious
Experience with power electronics
Knowledge of system safety according to EN13849
