The Opportunity: To ensure the seamless delivery and robust operational performance of our core enterprise systems, we are currently supporting a premier client in Gothenburg in the search for an experienced Senior Operational Lead / Service Delivery Manager. 🎯 Key Focus Areas In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical operations and business expectations, driving excellence across the following areas: Operational Excellence: Leading operational delivery, driving continuous improvements, and ensuring high-availability service delivery in a modern DevOps environment. Incident & Coordination: Orchestrating incident management, production support, and fast-paced operational coordination. Stakeholder & Customer Success: Managing complex stakeholder environments and maintaining transparent, high-level customer communication. Team Leadership: Coaching, mentoring, and guiding cross-functional teams toward operational maturity and collaborative success. 👤 Profile & Qualifications We are looking for a senior professional who thrives in dynamic environments and possesses a strong delivery mindset: Proven Leadership: Extensive experience as a Service Delivery Manager, Operational Lead, or a closely related senior operational role. Tech Ecosystem Knowledge: Hands-on understanding of DevOps environments, production support setups, and IT service management (ITSM) frameworks. Communication & Influence: Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to articulate complex technical status into clear customer communications. Language Skills: Fluent in English (both written and spoken) is a mandatory requirement. You will clarify boundaries and collaboration models between Internal IT and other relevant business, technology, security and enabling functions. You will evaluate ownership and governance across internal digital services, workplace platforms and employee experience. You will engage senior stakeholders to understand current needs, dependencies, pain points and ways of working. You will identify risks, capability gaps, overlaps, unclear accountabilities and improvement opportunities. You will explore how AI, automation, data and emerging technologies can strengthen the internal technology environment. You will assess sourcing strategy, shared services, partner models and the role of vendors and managed service providers. You will develop future-state options and recommend a target operating model covering governance, ownership, capabilities, collaboration and sourcing. You will define a pragmatic roadmap and support alignment around the recommended direction. RequirementsYou have senior leadership or advisory experience in Internal IT strategy and transformation. You have a proven track record of designing, transforming or leading modern Internal IT organizations. You have strong experience in employee-facing, corporate and workplace technology rather than customer-facing product development. You have experience from complex, international and fast-changing organizations. You bring broad knowledge of enterprise technology, AI, cloud, cybersecurity, digital workplace and employee experience. You have experience defining operating models, governance, service ownership and organizational accountabilities. You understand sourcing, strategic partners, managed services and technology ecosystems. You can connect business strategy, employee needs and Internal IT priorities. You are comfortable turning analysis into pragmatic recommendations and building credibility with both executive and operational stakeholders. Key focus areas Bluetooth / WiFi stack integration and issue resolution Integration of Google software stacks into an Android Automotive platform Customer-specific platform customization Work across Android Framework, Application layer and VHAL Technical leadership for distributed engineering teams Hands-on support when complex development issues need senior-level troubleshooting We are looking for someone with Strong experience with Bluetooth Stack and/or WiFi Stack Senior-level embedded software development background Solid understanding of Android platform architecture, such as AAOS, Android Framework or AOSP Strong C++ development skills Experience working across system layers and with complex platform integration Good English communication skills Experience with Automotive Infotainment, Google Automotive Services, HAL/VHAL, Embedded Linux, QNX or Hypervisors would be a strong plus.
