I rollen som Software Factory utvecklare kommer du att få arbeta med mjukvaruutveckling inom olika teknikområden, programmeringsspråk och verktyg. Det innebär att du kommer ta fram arkitektur och utveckla mjukvara som kan användas för att kunna leverera produktkod med hög kvalitet till olika kunder oavsett var de finns i världen. Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery är något som alla våra kunder jobbar med för att effektivisera leveranser av kod.
Du kommer att lära dig massor hos oss men innan vi arbetar tillsammans ser vi att du har med dig några erfarenheter:
M.Sc eller B.Sc inom Datateknik, Fysik, Elektroteknik eller Mekatronik
3-5 års erfarenhet av Python utveckling
Erfarenhet av Git, ArgoCD, Gerrit och Artifactory
Har använt något eller några av dessa verktyg: Docker, Openshift, Kubernetes och Elasticsearch

Job description: Let's introduce ourselves Within Vehicle Engineering, more than 2,000 colleagues work together across chassis, interior, climate, body and exterior functions, mechanical integration, and vehicle attributes that shape design and customer experience. Software plays a crucial role in our product development, and within Software Factory & Release, we lead the software development framework to ensure fast, high quality integration and release of software for Vehicle Engineering. We are now looking for a Software Engineering Analyst to help design, develop, and scale our next generation test frameworks and environments for Software in the Loop (SIL) and Hardware in the Loop (HIL) validation. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our CI/CD driven development ecosystem, building the automation backbone that enables fast, reliable, and scalable verification of complex embedded software systems. What you'll do Design and develop modular, reusable test frameworks for SIL and HIL environments Build and maintain test execution infrastructure integrated with CI/CD pipelines Develop tooling for test orchestration, scheduling, and result collection Enable scalable execution of tests across virtual (SIL) and physical (HIL) environments Integrate simulation models, ECUs, and test systems into automated workflows Collaborate closely with developers, system engineers, and test teams to define test strategies and interfaces Drive standardization of test APIs, data formats, and reporting Optimize performance and utilization of HIL rigs and SIL environments What you'll bring A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field Strong programming skills in Python or a similar language Experience working with test automation frameworks Familiarity with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools Experience with SIL and/or HIL environments Understanding of embedded systems and automotive electrical architectures A passion for building scalable, reliable test systems and infrastructure A self driven, collaborative mindset and the ability to work across software, systems, and test disciplines A pragmatic approach that balances technical excellence with delivery and long term maintainability
Working as a Java Developer In this role, you will act as a bridge between development, production, and support. You will work closely with the operations team, product teams, and local IT to ensure that systems run smoothly in day-to-day operations. As a Java Developer, you will be part of an agile team responsible for delivering and supporting digital solutions in the production environment. Main responsibilities: Support the operations team in their daily work within the production environment Work closely with maintenance technicians and operators on the factory floor to understand and troubleshoot issues Analyze log files and investigate incidents in applications and integrations Identify root causes and determine which issues can be resolved directly and which need escalation Collaborate with product teams to improve system stability and usability Provide technical support for applications, integration layers, and production systems Perform minor code changes (mainly in Java) to fix bugs or adjust application behavior The role involves working on-site in shifts. Who You Are: You are proactive and able to collaborate effectively with colleagues from the team and beyond. You have experience with software development in Java and Springboot. You are familiar with REST APIs, databases (Oracle), cloud services, and messaging systems such as IBM MQ and Kafka. You have experience with Kubernetes You possess excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills in English, enabling you to effectively communicate with both technical specialists and individuals without technical knowledge. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and validating our backend system. You will work closely with our software and firmware teams to develop reliable, scalable backend services with a strong focus on quality, testing, and automation. Your experience in backend development and test engineering will be important in shaping and improving our platform. What you will do: Design, develop, and maintain backend services and systems using Go and the Twelve-Factor App methodology. Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, test environments, and validation processes for backend systems and services. Define and implement test strategies covering functionality, integration, system, regression, and performance testing. Build tools and test harnesses to verify the reliability, scalability, and correctness of distributed systems. Optimize software for performance, efficiency, reliability, and scalability. Troubleshoot, debug, and analyze applications and test results to ensure smooth functionality. Collaborate with front-end developers, firmware engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Your Profile Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, test engineering, or a similar role. Experience with Go is a strong advantage. We also welcome candidates with solid backend experience in other typed backend languages. Experience designing and implementing CI-based test execution for backend systems and distributed applications. Experience and familiarity with concurrent and asynchronous programming. Proven experience with RESTful API design, implementation, and testing. Strong familiarity with Linux-based IT systems and test or hosting environments. Knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, Cassandra) and expertise with in-memory caching solutions (Redis or comparable). Experience with distributed event-streaming and messaging systems, such as Apache Kafka or NATS. Experience working with version control systems (Git) in collaborative environments. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to make sound trade-offs based on business needs and technical requirements. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. You communicate clearly and are comfortable supporting and mentoring less experienced developers. Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken. Proficiency in Swedish is a plus.
