Which skills do you need to join the team?
We are looking for someone with experience of Controls Systems and Matlab/Simulink in the automotive industry. In this role, you
will design and implement control strategies in an embedded control system, both developing new strategies for future engine
concepts and implementing solutions in the ECU for production. The team is responsible for design, implementation, and
verification of control functionality for combustion engines, working closely with colleagues in hardware design and
calibration/optimization globally.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated System & Software Engineer to join our growing team. This is a mid- to senior-level role. We are looking for a hybrid profile who can work in the intersection between system, function and implementation. The work spans several levels: * System level – system design, architecture, requirements decomposition * Functional level – development and validation of functions * Technical / software level – implementation and integration Qualifications * Experience working as a Systems Engineer, Software Engineer, or in a similar hybrid role * Strong knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and model-based development * Experience with embedded software development * Experience with requirements engineering * Background in automotive software development Desirable Skills * Strong experience in requirements management, as the project requires people who understand the full development chain * Experience from safety-critical environments is a strong advantage Who are you? We are looking for a Senior Automotive Software Test / Integration Engineer who can quickly take technical responsibility and over time also lead the team. The project develops an innovative ASIL-D classified automotive safety product, and also includes exploratory elements where deep learning is used for concept evaluation. Responsibilities include: * Early concept / prototyping – system design, sensor and hardware selection, embedded motor control, low-level driver development, application software development in C/C++, STM32 / Arduino / PlatformIO * Verification & validation – software release evaluation from suppliers, build commissioning, requirements verification, SIL/HIL testing * Toolchain / integration – MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE ConfigurationDesk, CANalyzer, CANape * Vehicle integration – vehicle-level integration, calibration, validation of safety-critical functionality Qualifications * Strong expertise in automotive software testing * Experience with embedded systems validation * Solid background in HIL/SIL testing * Experience working with safety-critical systems * Strong skills in integration testing * Professional speaking and writing skills in English Preferred additional qualifications * Experience leading or mentoring technical teams * Background working with ASIL-classified products Who are you? AS A SOFTWARE ENGINEER, ENGINEERING INFRASTRUCTURE, YOU WILL: * Contribute to the development and maintenance of continuous integration and delivery pipelines, ensuring reliable and efficient build, test, and release workflows across the organization. * Help manage artifact lifecycle systems including versioning, storage, distribution, and dependency management to support reproducible builds at scale. * Partner with development teams to design and improve code review workflows, branching strategies, and automated integration processes. * Provision, monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure to support CI workloads, balancing cost efficiency with performance and reliability. * Troubleshoot build failures, pipeline bottlenecks, and infrastructure issues, driving root-cause analysis and implementing lasting fixes. * Contribute to internal tooling and automation that improves developer velocity and engineering productivity. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: * 2-5 years of professional experience in a DevOps, infrastructure, or software engineering role. * Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery systems and practical experience building or maintaining automated build and deployment pipelines. * Understanding of artifact repository management and software packaging concepts. * Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS preferred) and programmatic resource provisioning. * Proficiency with distributed version control systems, code review processes, and repository management. * Foundational knowledge of operating system concepts (Linux/Unix), networking fundamentals, and scripting for automation. * Experience with containerization and container orchestration (Kubernetes preferred). * Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to debugging distributed systems. * Curiosity about how large-scale infrastructure is built, operated, and improved. NICE TO HAVE: * Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools and practices. * Scripting proficiency in Python, Groovy, or Bash for build automation and tooling. * Exposure to build systems and build graph optimization. * Understanding of observability practices including monitoring, logging, and alerting. * BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
