AI Enablement & Transformation Lead (gn)

Start: Immediately | Level: Intern | Location: Hamburg, hybrid | Working Hours: Full Time (40h/Week)  We are looking for an AI Enablement & Transformation Intern (gn) to join our Digital Department and support how AI is used and scaled across The Quality Group. You work closely with our AI Enablement & Transformation Lead, supporting the coordination of AI and automation initiatives across Business, Tech, and Security stakeholders. Depending on your skills and the topics on the table, you'll take on a mix of hands-on support work and, where it fits, ownership of self-contained projects. This is a unique opportunity to fully experience — and help shape — a company-wide AI transformation from the inside, at a company that's genuinely serious about it. Not a theoretical AI internship, but one embedded in live rollouts, governance, and adoption work. This is a paid, voluntary internship, full-time, for a minimum of 4 months, based at our headquarters in Hamburg.   YOUR MISSION * You support the AI Enablement & Transformation Lead in structuring, prioritizing, and coordinating AI and automation initiatives * Depending on your skills and current priorities, you may independently own self-contained projects * You support our AI Champions Network — preparing sessions, documenting outcomes, and following up on action items * You help monitor relevant AI tools, LLM developments, and workflow automation trends * As part of our bottom-up enablement approach, you may run individual trainings, workshops, or "Open Door" sessions for colleagues * You support colleagues across teams in building their own AI-powered workflows * You help document use cases, pilots, and outcomes to make AI adoption measurable and repeatable   YOUR EXPERIENCE & SKILLS * You are currently studying, or have recently completed, a degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, business informatics, data science, economics, or similar) — your specific major matters less than a genuine interest in AI and business impact * You are genuinely curious about AI and enjoy exploring tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or workflow automation platforms such as n8n — no professional experience required, just real interest and willingness to dig in * You can turn ambiguous tasks into structured next steps and work independently once you understand the goal * You communicate clearly, in writing and in person, and are comfortable presenting to colleagues * You are pragmatic, hands-on, and comfortable in a fast-changing environment with shifting priorities * You are fully fluent in English; German language skills are a strong plus * You are available full-time for at least 4 months and can be on-site in our Hamburg office at least every two weeks   WHY CHOOSE US?   Being part of our team means joining a high-performing company with a diverse and inclusive culture. WHAT YOU’LL DO AT MONGODB * Understand customer application portfolios and identify opportunities to design delivery programs related to modernization, cloud adoption, AI enablement, and data platform transformation. * Lead discovery, solutioning, estimation, and commercial negotiations to convert customer business initiatives into Professional Services bookings. * Collaborate as part of a larger team alongside cloud partners, strategic partners, and your MongoDB account teams to develop and execute customer success and Professional Services growth strategies. * Maintain a strong sense of ownership, driving all deals or technical scopings from inception to closure * Manage the Professional Services pipeline for bookings and revenue forecasts for your region * Expertly articulate the business value of professional services, speaking knowledgeably and credibly about service delivery issues, challenges, strategies, approaches, and risk mitigation * Work with our practice team to propagate internal skills and experience through the development of repeatable assets (estimates, proposals, SOWs, templates, tools, case studies etc.) * Work with the delivery team to transition any agreed upon project scope and customer expectations to ensure successful project delivery * Proactively seek opportunities to support and mentor other team members and share best practices * Have situational awareness and react appropriately in group settings AN IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE * Experience in Professional Services sales, consulting sales, solution consulting, or quota-carrying technology roles. * A BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent professional experience * A minimum of 5 years experience in the sale of Professional Services and/or technology solutions at an enterprise software company * Experience as an architect, consultant, project manager, or Professional Services manager * Experience internally positioning and selling professional services * General knowledge of databases (RDBMS, SQL, NoSQL) * Experience and knowledge of the software development lifecycle and associated development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall) * Knowledge of software architecture including both cloud and on-premise technologies e.g. AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Open Shift * The ability to collaborate as a part of a larger account team to build and execute complex account strategies and sales plays * An ability to scope and estimate projects * Strong presentation skills: Showing the value, capabilities, and differentiators of complex service solutions using methodologies and service offerings * Willingness to travel for key engagements and team offsites ABOUT MONGODB MongoDB is built for change, empowering our customers and our people to innovate at the speed of the market.
