POSITION Jung von Matt SPORTS is looking for a full time Senior Project Manager (d/f/m) for our gaming- & esports vertical. The Task • Responsible for independently planning, coordinating, and executing jobs/projects in alignment with the AcD/CSD. • Lead and mentor junior team members, acting as a sparring partner across all professional levels. • Serve as a key interface between the client, creative team, services, and all JvM agencies. • Receive briefings and develop creative briefs based on them. • Draft decision reports following client meetings. • Ensure a consistent flow of important day-to-day information to the AcD/CSD. • Continuously monitor the profitability of individual jobs using SAP. • Act as a sparring partner for the creative team in daily operations. • Ensure effective resource planning for your projects/accounts. • Maintain status updates and communication with clients. • Create budget and cost calculations. • Monitor production and media plans. About You • Proficient in all relevant media processing steps, including timing, costs, and feasibility. • Responsible for building, creating, and delivering presentations. • Possess a strong understanding of creativity. • Possesss prior knowledge or at least an interest in gaming, esports and culture marketing. • Have knowledge of all communication disciplines and proven expertise in TV. • Possess basic knowledge of copyright law and buyouts. • Have market research knowledge. • You can communicate fluently in German (level C2) and English (level B2) both written and spoken. • Several years of experience as a Senior Project Manager, preferably on the agency side. • You are based in Hamburg – or open to relocate here in future. Your tasks: * Developing creative lead ideas, concepts and campaigns for multiple clients and brands * Writing and refining copy for all relevant channels (classic, digital, social, film and beyond) * Close collaboration with art directors to create holistic and compelling creative work * Independently briefing and coordinating all project stakeholders and disciplines * Presenting concepts and copy internally and to clients with confidence * Ensuring tonal and conceptual consistency across all touchpoints and deliverables * Maintaining and elevating copy quality throughout all project phases * Mentoring, coaching and professionally developing junior copywriters and trainees * Actively contributing to the improvement of tools, workflows and creative standards * Staying on top of cultural trends, storytelling formats and emerging creative opportunities About you: * Excellent understanding of brands, products and audiences, with a strong sense of tone of voice * Outstanding conceptual and writing skills across all media and channels * Proven experience in developing integrated campaigns and creative lead ideas * Confident presentation and persuasion skills in German and English * High quality standards and a strong creative and editorial mindset * Deep understanding of the interplay between copy, design, concept and technology * Experience working closely with art direction, consulting, strategy and external partners * Ability to guide, mentor and develop junior copywriters through constructive feedback * Curiosity for new formats, platforms and tools, including the use of generative AI in the creative process
