You will collaborate with engineers and production teams to maintain safety, quality, and operational standards:
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and perform advanced testing, calibration, adjustment, and maintenance of HVAC and related mechanical systems using cutting-edge tools and sophisticated test and measurement equipment to enhance energy efficiency, system longevity, and operational performance.
Lead innovative troubleshooting initiatives for complex mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical system issues, integrating IoT sensors for real-time system performance monitoring and predictive maintenance, and providing effective solutions and recommendations.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, supervisors, production teams, and external laboratories to customize HVAC solutions, optimize equipment performance, support new product implementations, and ensure timely and accurate completion of testing activities.
Develop and execute proactive maintenance schedules leveraging data analytics to minimize downtime, optimize operational costs, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and energy management policies during all maintenance and repair activities.
Document all technical procedures, test results, and maintenance activities accurately to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Provide technical guidance, training, and work instructions to junior technicians on emerging HVAC technologies, sustainable practices, and adherence to safety and quality protocols to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Utilize algebra, trigonometry, and software programming knowledge to enhance testing processes, system diagnostics, and troubleshooting capabilities.
Manage inventory of lab and maintenance supplies, coordinating procurement to avoid operational delays.
On-call duty on a rotating basis: one full week (24/7 availability) every five weeks
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
2 + years of progressive hands-on experience in HVAC system maintenance, testing, repair, and complex system handling.
Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical systems relevant to HVAC and facility equipment.
Ability to communicate effectively in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
Competent in basic computer applications including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Commitment to safe work practices and ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and assisting with heavier loads.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex technical documentation and schematics.
Desired Qualifications
Proven expertise in utilizing smart diagnostic tools and IoT-enabled devices for HVAC system optimization and troubleshooting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data trends and implement innovative solutions to enhance system performance.
Demonstrated capability to lead projects that integrate sustainable and energy-efficient HVAC technologies.
Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for work order processing and preventive maintenance tracking.
Certified Wastewater Treatment Operator preferred but not mandatory.
