About the role As an Electronics Engineer, you will take a central role in designing and verifying complex analog and digital circuits. Work tasks The role involves the end-to-end development of electronic hardware, from initial schematic design and cross-functional collaboration to rigorous verification and final regulatory certification. Design advanced analog and digital electronic schematics using PADS, Xpedition, or Altium Perform PCBA-level verification to ensure all components meet specified requirements Manage EMC design and verification for conducted and radiated emissions Resolve technical issues related to ESD, surge, and immunity testing Lead product certification processes for international standards such as CE and FCC Collaborate with mechanical and software disciplines for optimal system design Mentor and share technical expertise with junior engineering colleagues We are looking for Advanced knowledge of analog and digital electronics design Extensive experience with schematic capture tools like Altium, PADS, or Xpedition Proven experience in electronics verification at the PCBA level Deep understanding of EMC design and verification principles Familiarity with product certification processes such as CE and FCC Strong ability to work structured and meet deadlines within complex projects It is meritorious if you have Proficiency in the Swedish language Specialized expertise in EMC problem-solving and optimization To succeed in the role, your personal skills are: Change oriented Orderly Responsible Intellectually curious Our recruitment process This recruitment process is handled by Academic Work and it is our client’s wish that all questions regarding the position is directed to Academic Work. You will develop and maintain high-quality sighting systems, working with new product development, product life cycle, and urgent technical or quality issues. The role requires strong analytical skills and technical knowledge in machining, precision mechanics, and tolerance analysis. Experience with D-FMECA, tolerance calculations, and test/validation is key to ensure our products meet high standards for accuracy, durability, and functionality. What you will do · Contribute technical expertise in machining and precision mechanics to new development projects, from concept to final product, including prototyping, testing, verification, and validation. · Lead D-FMECA, concept selection, and root cause analysis work. · Ensure that the design meet specified requirements and strict tolerance and performance standards. · Maintain and improve existing products based on field data and customer feedback. · Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with precision requirements. · Quickly resolve urgent technical or production issues affecting quality or delivery. Skills and Experience · Solid knowledge of manufacturing methods, material selection, and machining for precision components. · Proficient in CAD tools (SolidWorks) and experienced in designing mechanical products. · Skilled in tolerance analysis · Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and ability to address urgent technical issues. · Experienced in technical documentation, test analysis, and facilitating of workshops. · Able to work in interdisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Join Us! About the role We are seeking a driven and innovative Industrial Engineer to join our rapidly scaling heat pump manufacturing operations. As we expand towards producing 50,000 units annually, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing production processes, integrating advanced manufacturing systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will work cross-functionally to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production as we transition from scale-up to large-scale manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Analyze, design, and optimize manufacturing workflows and production layouts to support scale-up goals. Implement lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste, reduce cycle time, and improve throughput. Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to introduce new product lines and production technologies. Lead time studies, capacity planning, and equipment utilization analysis. Support automation projects, including robotics and Industry 4.0 integration. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training documentation for production staff. Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions to resolve production bottlenecks or quality issues. Contribute to sustainability initiatives by optimizing energy usage and minimizing material waste in production processes. Supervise equipment development phases with suppliers, manage local & international suppliers through all phases of projects (FMEA, RFI, RFQ, FAT-Pre acceptance, SAT-Final acceptance etc.) Perform the manufacturability analysis of New Products, process and technologies Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in industrial or process engineering (within high-volyme manufacturing environment is positive) Proven knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. Experience with CAD software, production simulation tools, and data analysis (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Python, SCADA). Strong understanding of automation, supply chain interactions, and production systems. Preferred Experience: Background in HVAC, home energy systems Experience with ERP and MES systems (e.g., SAP, Siemens Opcenter). Exposure to working in a scale-up or fast-growing production environment. Fluent in English; Swedish is a plus.
