AS A FULL STACK DEVELOPER AT REAKTOR, YOUR JOB IS TO BE AN EXPERT IN A RANGE OF SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT RESPONSIBILITIES SPANNING THE ENTIRE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE, FROM FRONT-END TO PRODUCTION.  Your daily tasks include: * Working together with the client’s tech and business teams and helping them to pick the right technologies suitable for their needs. * Implementing new features that require changes to frontend applications, backend servers, and/or databases, even on infrastructure. * Delivering the client and the team with a world-class technical expertise. * Other software development-related tasks, such as debugging, designing, and participating in creating the architecture.    YOU ARE A CURIOUS-MINDED DEVELOPER WHO IS COMFORTABLE WORKING ON BOTH THE BACK-END AND FRONT-END OF AN APP AND UNDERSTANDS THE ROLE OF INFRASTRUCTURE IN EVERYDAY TASKS. To thrive in this position, you’ll need:  * Experience in a broad range of software development modalities (backend, frontend, ops, and consulting skills). * We don’t have a hard limit with years of experience, but we’ve noticed that these competencies usually take several years to accumulate.  * Previous experience with at least one common server-side programming language. Currently, many of our projects are built with TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js. But, Java/Scala/Kotlin, Clojure, and Python are also used. * Strong knowledge of at least one common client-side language and framework. We often use TypeScript/JavaScript and React on our web app projects and Swift, Java/Scala/Kotlin, or TypeScript/JavaScript React-native on mobile. * Relevant skills to create new backend services and build CI/CD pipelines when the project requires. * Foundational knowledge in DevOps, including Continuous Integration (CI), automated deployment, and test automation * Know-how on databases (e.g., PostgreSQL). * To be comfortable engaging with the client stakeholders when needed.  * Fluent verbal & written English skills. The Upright Project

Are you a skilled developer excited to build at the frontier of AI-native software development? We're hiring an experienced developer to shape the future of our AI engine for impact intelligence — full-stack by default, but we care more about analytic skills, good judgment, and AI-fluency than about a specific stack. You'll work across the platform, from data pipelines, APIs, and ML/LLM systems to the product surfaces our customers use, and you'll be expected to pick up whatever the problem requires. At Upright, you get to work on a product that actually matters: the world's largest open-access database on company impact, used by 300+ institutional investors and corporations to make real capital allocation decisions. We quantify companies' impact from the ground up, based on peer-reviewed science and what companies actually produce and sell. The raw material is their product data, which we collect and classify automatically at scale. What makes the role unusual is how we build today. Over the past six months, we have rebuilt a large part of our development workflow around AI agents, including our in-house Slack-native agent "Upbot", which now autonomously handles a meaningful share of bug fixes, feature development, dev-environment management, data QA, data refreshes, and other engineering chores that used to require a human. As a developer at Upright, you spend much less time on repetitive plumbing and much more time designing systems, writing the hard parts, and teaching agents to do the rest well. We're betting heavily on AI-native engineering, and you'd be joining a small, senior team where your work on both the product and the agentic tooling around it is visible from day one. REAKTOR'S AWARD-WINNING TECH COMMUNITY IS LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED MOBILE DEVELOPER TO JOIN OUR GAMING & ENTERTAINMENT BUSINESS UNIT IN HELSINKI. If you thrive in mobile development, enjoy solving complex challenges in multidisciplinary teams, and are curious to work in a low-hierarchy environment, you might just be what we’re looking for. You will join our Gaming & Entertainment Business Unit, where you will support clients in this domain. Your daily tasks include: * Developing native mobile applications for both iOS and Android * Collaborating directly with clients and stakeholders to clarify ambiguous requirements, in a team setting * Contributing to architectural decisions and long-term technical direction * Participating in discovery, concepting, and iterative delivery — not just implementation * Occasionally contributing beyond mobile, when the project benefits from full-stack thinking To thrive in this position, you’ll need: Technical Expertise: * Strong experience in both ecosystems (iOS/Android). We notice that it usually takes about 8 years of professional experience to learn these things * Solid practical experience with: Swift, UIKit, Reactive Programming, Java, Kotlin * Experience with SwiftUI is a plus * A testing ownership mindset you take responsibility for the full development cycle, from implementation to ensuring features are defect free and shipped to users * Experience with production app monitoring and troubleshooting * Interest in building polished animations, working closely with a Motion Designer Technical Depth: * Solid practical experience with: Swift and Kotlin * Ideally experience in C++ and Flutter Cross-Stack Proficiency: * Familiarity with fullstack development.
