The structural engineer is part of the mechanical engineering team and will work closely with design engineers, technical coordinators and class representatives. The work will mainly be in the early stages of the engineering process and focusing on overall design/layout, structural design and analysis. We are seeking someone with strong analytical abilities, who can apply those abilities in taking products from basic concepts to something that will function in the real world. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and executing civil and structural engineering efforts, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, budgets, client expectations, and applicable codes and standards. This position involves developing engineering documentation from concept through construction, overseeing structural analyses, mentoring junior team members, and coordinating across disciplines to support successful project execution. You will play a critical role in the design of reinforced concrete foundations, structural steel platforms and supports, equipment skids, and pipeline structural systems.
