Job Responsibilities: Our internship program will give a flavour of what we do at Ekimetrics and can lead to a full-time offer. As an intern consultant, you will be: Working on challenging projects with international blue-chip clients across diverse industries, on advanced data science, AI-powered solutions and consulting, including meeting with clients and building bespoke solutions to tackle their challenges. Working in teams of 2 to 5 consultants, on 1 to 3 projects simultaneously. Get involved in projects from first discovery meetings all the way to final recommendations, responsible for gathering and analyzing data, building statistical models, translating quantitative insights into strategic recommendations and delivering the final results. Have plenty of opportunities to be creative and suggest innovative approaches and be mentored to grow and develop yourself to taking ownership of your projects and be able to present your results and will be exposed to C-suite clients. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Statistics, Economics, Engineering or a related analytical field. Outstanding record of academic achievement. Passion for data, extensive knowledge in statistics or applied mathematics, familiarity with techniques such as modelling / optimization, and experience in using advanced analytical methodologies to answer business questions. We have created a Procurement team that is located in London and Hong Kong and we’ve been laying the foundations for a high-performance and trusted procurement function. QRT are seeking a proactive APAC Senior Technology Buyer to join our team in Hong Kong. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing technology suppliers providing products across office and datacenter colocations. This role focuses on delivery performance, cost optimisation and resilience of critical technology solutions, while ensuring alignment with business, IT, and network strategies. The ideal candidate needs to be able to work with QRT colleagues, supporting them in sourcing what they need in a timely and professional manner. You will be working hard to implement best practice procurement processes. The right candidate will be someone who is prepared to roll up their sleeves and get the work done. Key responsibilities of the role include: APAC Strategic Sourcing & Category Management * Lead end-to-end APAC sourcing initiatives, including supplier negotiations, and contract awards. * Demonstrate in-depth experience executing sourcing strategies for all Technology categories, including Hardware, Software, Services and Telecommunications. * Have experience with sourcing and delivery of Technology DataCenter Hardware in multiple APAC countries, including India. * Optimise supply chains and delivery lead times improving speed to market. * Track market trends and availability to inform Technology and procurement decisions. * Lead end-to-end sourcing activities: RFIs/RFPs, supplier evaluation, commercial modelling, and contract award. Supplier & Contract Management * Manage relationships with key suppliers (e.g., Hardware OEM’s). * Negotiate complex contracts, including pricing structures, SLAs, service credits, and termination clauses. * Oversee contract lifecycle management, including renewals, benchmarking, and renegotiations. Governance, Risk & Compliance * Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards. * Manage third-party risk, including data privacy, cybersecurity, and operational resilience considerations. * Support vendor due diligence and risk assessment processes. Operational Excellence * Drive process improvements and standardisation across procurement activities. * Leverage procurement tools and analytics to enhance decision-making and reporting. * Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and SLAs. Your present skillset You will have excellent knowledge of Technology procurement, with 2 to 7 years’ experience in a medium or Large sized, fast paced and agile business, ideally within the financial services space. * Strong experience in procurement within Technology categories. * Proven track record in hardware supply negotiation and supply chain. * Ability to work with technical stakeholders and understand infrastructure requirements. * Experience working in APAC multi-country or global environments. * Bachelor’s or higher degree. * Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are advantageous. * Experience working in a global or matrixed organisation. * Cost savings and value delivery against targets * Supplier performance and risk management outcomes * Stakeholder satisfaction and engagement QRT is an equal opportunity employer. Your future role at QRT: We are looking for an exceptional Software Engineer to be an integral member of the Data and Lifecycle team. We work closely with trading and research functions to provide trade and position lifecycle automations (corporate actions, expiries, coupon payments, etc), maintain reference data, handle internal and external reporting and generate reports for Front office use across different teams. This position has a specialized focus as an SME for Derivatives - Reference Data and Lifecycle. This high-visibility position will directly impact trading and business operations by providing expert guidance on equity-related reference data, events and automating complex lifecycle processes. Your responsibilities will include: * Be involved in the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance solutions for trade and position lifecycle automations for derivative products, ensuring accuracy and operational efficiency. * Ensure the availability and quality of reference data for different types of derivatives traded by QRT. Partner closely with a variety of stakeholders and maintain alignment with business needs. Your present skillset: * 4+ years of work experience in a quantitative trading environment * Deep understanding of derivatives (especially futures and options) with regards to reference data and the asset’s lifecycle events * In depth knowledge of how derivatives are treated in different markets / exchanges. * Advanced programming skills, with a drive for delivering strategic solutions. * Programming language agnostic.
