Your mission: As our Operations Working Student, you will play an integral role in ensuring that our operations processes are compliant, efficient and run smoothly. Your responsibilities will range from supporting daily operations and administration to contributing to special projects. In doing so, you will have significant exposure to the Customer Lifecycle Operation Domain, which is central to lemon.markets. This domain handles everything from customer onboarding and customer lifecycle changes to customer service, impacting all areas of lemon.markets, including market-trade and post-trade activities. This means, you’ll experience the best of both worlds: firsthand exposure to the operations of a brokerage firm, while enjoying the dynamic & flexibility of an fast-paced environment. You’ll collaborate closely with experts from Securities, Market Operations and Customer Operations. This experience will not only allow you to leverage and enhance your existing skill set, but also provide opportunities to learn, grow and take ownership of high-impact projects and tasks. In this role you will: You will not only support the Customer Lifecycle Operations with a variety of day-to-day operational tasks and projects across Finance, Risk, Compliance, and AML, but you will also play an important role in refining and enhancing processes within various back office functions. By questioning the status quo and not shying away from breaking new ground, you’ll drive digitalization and efficiency improvements wherever possible. Customer Lifecycle Ops specific tasks: * Partner Support: You'll be responsible for processing and responding to requests from our partners concerning their customers. These inquiries can cover a wide range of topics related to lemon.markets. * Customer Operations: From handling account requests and updating master data to addressing compliance issues, you'll engage in a diverse array of activities that keep our operations running smoothly every day. * KYC Operations: Before starting any contractual partnership, we need to verify the identity of the other party. This involves a thorough review before opening an account to ensure we know who we're doing business with. * Low-Code/No-Code Solutions: Alongside your daily work you will support the company by building dashboards, refining automations, or come up with technical solutions for business processes. This includes fetching and structuring raw data to develop insights and act on them. You will be successful in this role if: * You are currently enrolled at a German university in business administration, economics, operations, or a similar degree program, and will remain enrolled for at least one more year. Ideally, you are also based in Berlin. * You are fluent in written and spoken German and English, and feel comfortable communicating clearly and professionally with different internal and external stakeholders. * You bring a strong learning and growth mindset. You are curious, open to feedback, and eager to continuously develop your skills. You enjoy learning new tools and ways of working, adapt quickly, and are excited to deepen your knowledge of the brokerage, investing, and fintech space. * You are reliable and take responsibility for your work. You follow through on tasks, communicate proactively, and build trust through consistent execution. YOUR MISSION Your Mission As a Working Student in Product Management, you will support our Direct (B2C) and Fleet (B2B) Product Managers in delivering an outstanding charging experience and smooth partner enablement. This role bridges the gap between product operations and customer-facing processes, offering you hands-on experience and the opportunity to own smaller projects independently from end to end. Direct (B2C) – Product Management * Consolidating a regular competitor analysis on a monthly basis, covering product features, and promotional offers across key European markets - including structured product recommendations for the B2C channel * Supporting the product team in evaluating new product concepts, feature ideas, and user experience enhancements based on market and user data * Supporting the tracking and analysis of B2C customer loyalty rewards, monitoring redemption patterns and performance across different countries * Supporting the preparation of go-to-market materials and internal product briefings for new B2C features or offers * Assisting in user research preparation (e.g. survey drafting, data aggregation, synthesis of findings) to inform B2C product decisions * Owning smaller projects independently end-to-end, including running promotional campaigns, improving a workflow, or setting up a KPI view and proposing next steps Fleet (B2B) – Product & Customer Enablement * Supporting end-to-end processing of new Fleet customer submissions: CRM updates, offer preparation and sending, and coordination of contract creation and dispatch * Supporting customer onboarding and account setup in internal systems (e.g., user and business partner creation), including structured customer communication via email (status updates, follow-ups, missing information) * Creating and maintaining clear documentation and lightweight process flows, turning recurring questions into structured, reusable guidance for customers and internal teams * Supporting collaboration across Fleet Support, Sales/Account teams and Product * Owning smaller projects independently end-to-end (e.g., improving a workflow, setting up a KPI view, cleaning up a documentation space, running a mini-analysis and proposing next steps) YOUR PROFILE * Currently studying towards a university degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics (Wirtschaftsinformatik), Industrial Engineering (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen), or a related field of study * You have a high affinity for the EV industry and its evolution * You have good communication skills (internally & externally with B2B touchpoints) * You have good organizational skills and a structured working style * Your English is fluent * You have good analytical skills and an independent work style * You have good Microsoft Office skills incl. PowerPoint and Excel * You are a highly motivated self-starter with a flexible, can-do attitude * Previous working experience via internships will be considered a strong asset * Experience with Jira and Confluence is appreciated
