ABOUT THE ROLE The Mobile Core team develops frameworks and tools that empower engineering teams across Twitch to build compelling mobile experiences. In this role, you will directly contribute to creating and refining core features, such as Video Playback, while architecting strategic solutions for internal developers. Twitch is evolving its mobile strategy from native-first to a hybrid approach that leverages React in WebViews alongside native iOS capabilities. You'll work on high-impact initiatives including our hybrid web-to-mobile platform, performance optimization at scale, automated testing infrastructure, and developer tooling that accelerates velocity across the organization.  You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager for Mobile Core iOS and can work from either our Seattle, Irvine, San Francisco or our New York City offices. YOU WILL: * Own and drive the technical strategy for foundational iOS components, native video playback infrastructure, and hybrid (React in WebView) frameworks * Architect and build robust WebView infrastructure and bridges that enable seamless integration between React-based web content and native iOS functionality * Lead performance optimization efforts for platform components used by millions of daily active users, establishing benchmarks and best practices * Provide technical leadership and mentorship to iOS engineers across multiple product teams and within Mobile Core, including onboarding and growing L4/L5 engineers * Drive cross-organizational architectural decisions that balance developer velocity, app performance, and maintainability, representing Mobile Core's technical perspective in org-wide discussions * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain development standards for hybrid mobile applications, influencing adoption across the mobile engineering organization YOU HAVE: * 6+ years of professional iOS development experience * Strong proficiency with Swift and the iOS architectural components and ecosystem * 6+ years of building and shipping production iOS applications to the Apple App Store * A talent for building consensus around technical decisions and guiding the team along evolving architecture patterns * Track record of leading major architectural initiatives, migrations, or platform-level projects * Experience mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar across teams * Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools (such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) to accelerate development BONUS POINTS * Experience with hybrid mobile architectures, WebView integration, JavaScript bridges, React, or React Native * Experience with video streaming or real-time communication technologies * Experience working on platform or infrastructure teams that support multiple product teams PERKS * Medical, Dental, Vision & Disability Insurance * 401(k) * Maternity & Parental Leave * Flexible PTO * Amazon Employee Discount Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.  Pursuant to the Los Angeles Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.  Job ID: TW9207 The base salary range for this position is listed below. ABOUT THE ROLE As the SIRT Manager, you will lead Twitch's Security Incident Response Team, reporting to the VP of Security. You'll oversee a team responsible for detecting and handling security incidents, and be an advocate for lessons learned from incidents across Twitch. You bring expertise in threat intelligence, detection engineering, and incident response. Your team will work directly with affected teams to contain and learn from incidents. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior TPM in the Community Health organization, you’ll be joining the team responsible for keeping users safe. You will own programs that span the range of user-facing tools like AutoMod or Shield Mode, updates to our enforcement systems and guidelines, or improvements to our content moderation tooling. We’re looking for a TPM that has a deep understanding and appreciation for complex programs with many stakeholders. The right person won’t just be focused on driving towards an outcome as quickly as possible, but will also consider the long term impact of a program on our users, development teams, operations teams, and others.  You’ll report to the Director of Engineering for Community Health. This role is based in San Francisco, CA, but we are open to arrangements that support working west coast hours.
