Avdelningen för Produktutveckling, produktion och design bedriver utbildning och forskning inom områden som produktutveckling, produktionsutveckling och industriell design. Avdelningen ansvarar för fem utbildningsprogram på Campus i Jönköping. Dessutom ansvarar avdelningen för två utbildningsprogram i Nässjö och Värnamo. Arbetsuppgifter Som biträdande lektor förväntas du bidra till såväl forskning som utbildning. Institutionen bedriver för närvarande flera forsknings- och utvecklingsprojekt inom industriell automation, digitalisering och framtidens produktionssystem i nära samarbete med industrin. Beroende på din erfarenhet och dina intressen kommer du att ges möjlighet att bidra till pågående projekt, utveckla din egen forskningsprofil samt initiera och leda nya externt finansierade projekt. I anställningen ingår även undervisning, handledning av studentprojekt och examensarbeten på olika nivåer, examination samt administrativa arbetsuppgifter. Kurser som du förväntas bidra till kan omfatta områden såsom tillämpad industriell automation, automation och produktionsteknik, produktionsutveckling samt grundläggande kurser inom maskinteknik. Subject description The research subject Electric Power Engineering covers studies of sustainable systems for production of electrical energy, transport of electrical energy and the interaction between the power grid, electricity production and electricity consumption. Duties Associate Professors are normally expected to be engaged in the university's education, pedagogical development activities, and research. Responsibilities also include keeping abreast of international developments within the discipline and supervising doctoral students. Associate Professors are expected to contribute to the university's development efforts, work to secure external research funding for the subject area, and be available for leadership and administrative assignments. Associate Professors are also expected to lead research projects, communicate their results through academic publications, and maintain an active presence within the research community of their field. As an Associate Professor, you will strengthen the research group and broaden its research activities, supervise doctoral students, and teach students. Possible research specializations include: Operation and operational reliability of future transmission and distribution networks Planning, hosting capacity (grid capacity limits), and reliability of future transmission and distribution networks Protection of future transmission and distribution networks Qualifications Qualified for an appointment as an associate professor are those who have demonstrated both research and teaching expertise. As much attention must be given to the assessment of teaching expertise as to the assessment of research expertise. To meet the requirements for the employment as an associate professor, the applicant: must have demonstrated a research profile showing a clear progress after the completion of the doctoral thesis, and scientific contributions corresponding to at least two doctoral theses including the doctoral thesis; must have worked as an independent researcher, and thus has, experience of research-related commissions of trust, for example, as a reviewer for journals, and/or as an external reviewer; experience of applying for and being granted, in competition, external funding for research and/or development projects; experience of having leading roles in research projects; must have published research output together with researchers within research environments other than the applicant's own environment. must have experience of supervising doctoral students and must have been the assistant supervisor for at least one doctoral student for at least two years, unless there are exceptional reasons to the contrary; must demonstrate pedagogical expertise through proven experience, teaching expertise and teaching development must have completed higher education pedagogy courses equivalent to 7.5 higher education credits or otherwise have acquired equivalent knowledge; must demonstrate the ability to collaborate with the wider community by means of, among other things, making new knowledge available to the wider community; incorporation of societal needs into educational and/or research contexts. Department of Management and Organization (DMO), Stockholm School of Economics The Department of Management and Organization at the Stockholm School of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in HRM, leadership, organization behaviour, or organization studies. Your profile We are looking for candidates with a Ph.D. in Business Administration, or a closely related discipline (doctoral degree must be completed before taking up the position). As a candidate, you should have a research background in any of the areas of organization behaviour, leadership studies, organization studies or HRM and have an interest in conducting research that has practical implications for organizations. We especially seek candidates with an international academic background to further enrich DMO’s faculty diversity and international profile. The successful candidate is expected to thrive in an inclusive, methodologically and theoretically pluralist research environment that aims to contribution to both academic knowledge and a better society. Candidates will have demonstrable strengths in both research and teaching. Your qualifications Candidates will have demonstrated the ability to publish in top-tier peer-reviewed international journals, such as AJG (4/4*) and those on the FT50 list. This will be evidenced by publications, research pipeline, and a documented presence in the international research community. In teaching, experience of designing and delivering courses, as well as supervising student projects is considered a merit. Candidates are expected to show independence and an ability to constructively collaborate with colleagues. Teaching (in English) is primarily at Bachelor and Master levels. The teaching load for the position is 20-40% of the working time, typically equating to 2-4 courses per year. Conditions The tenure period is 6-years.
