Som Shift Leader på Espresso House utför du alla arbetsuppgifter som en Barista gör, men rollen innebär också ansvar för och planering av daglig drift tillsammans med Coffee Shop Manager. Din målsättning som Shift Leader skall vara att utvecklas och växa inom Espresso House. Det är därför meriterande om du har arbetat inom café/restaurang eller har likvärdig erfarenhet sedan tidigare och har god kännedom om branschen och är van vid att arbeta oregelbundna tider.

What Success Looks Like: Your Impact * Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea, and other beverages according to company standards. * Greet guests warmly, take orders, and provide product recommendations. * Operate coffee and espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently. * Maintain a clean and organized work area, including beverage stations, counters, and dining areas. * Handle cash, credit, and digital payment transactions accurately. * Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to management. * Restock coffee bar and serving stations with necessary amenities (lids, straws, napkins, etc.) * Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures. * May assist with training new team members and supporting co-workers during peak periods. * Address guest questions, concerns, or special requests promptly and professionally. * Other tasks as assigned What You Bring * Prior café, coffee, or food & beverage experience required. * Barista certification or completion of formal coffee/espresso training preferred. * Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members. * Knowledge of coffee preparation, brewing techniques, and beverage presentation is a plus. * Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems for order taking and cash handling. * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. * Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. $15.00 - $18.39 PER HOUR GENERAL PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to sell coffee and gelato items by providing remarkable customer service. This position will maintain quality standards and product levels of all products at the Café. This person will be preparing coffee and espresso drinks, serving and sampling gelato, serving baked goods, receiving and stocking product, and providing exceptional customer service. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures * Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services the Café provides * Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the Café * Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items * Ensures the Café area is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance * Delivers excellent customer service to all customers * Prepares coffee and espresso drinks * Samples and serves gelato * Serves baked goods * Receives and stocks product for the Café * Cashiers for products purchased at the Café * Assists as needed to ensure the success of the Bakery as a whole MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs other job-related duties as assigned. DEIN PROFIL * Dein Herz schlägt für Kaffee – du weißt, wie man die perfekte Espresso-Mischung zaubert und beherrschst die Kunst des Latte Art. * Du hast mehrjährige Erfahrung im Gastro-Bereich, idealerweise als Barista, und bringst Erfahrung im Kundenservice mit. * Bei uns kann's auch mal turbulenter werden – du hast Humor, bist belastbar und behältst auch bei hohem Andrang stets einen klaren Kopf. * Du bringst eine abgeschlossene Barista-Schulung bzw. Erfahrung in der Zubereitung von Kaffeespezialitäten mit. * Du sprichst fließend Deutsch und Englisch und kannst dich mit unseren internationalen Gästen problemlos verständigen. * Du bist zuverlässig, fleißig, freundlich, ehrlich und kommunikativ.
