We’re one of the world’s oldest start-ups — and we’re just getting started.
At Husqvarna Group, innovation is in our DNA. With over 330 years of heritage and a passion for pioneering technology, we design and deliver world class products and solutions for forest, park, garden and construction care. From robotic lawn mowers to cutting-edge chainsaws and sustainable battery systems, we’re shaping the future — and we want you to be part of it.
Join us at our highly automated manufacturing site in Huskvarna, where you will become part of a skilled and collaborative engineering team. Together, you will work closely with production, maintenance, and R&D to continuously improve and optimize our manufacturing processes within our Chain & Bar factories, ensuring we stay at the forefront of technology. In this role you will report to Sebastian Sihvo, Group Manager.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in a modern, highly automated factory environment with advanced and custom-built machinery. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvements and technical development to optimize production performance in areas such as availability, cost, ergonomics, volume, and quality.
You will take ownership of several manufacturing processes, ensuring that equipment and methods are efficient, reliable, and technically up to date. The role includes leading improvement initiatives and investment projects, often running in parallel and in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
A key part of the role is to maintain a holistic view of the production flow, understanding how technical changes impact both upstream and downstream processes. You will work hands-on close to production, collaborating daily with operators, production managers, maintenance, and external suppliers as well as follow up on relevant KPIs.
You are a proactive and solution-oriented engineer with a genuine passion for technology and continuous improvement. Working close to operations energizes you, and you thrive in an environment where you can combine strategic thinking with hands-on problem solving to make a real impact on production performance.
You are curious, open to new ideas and technologies, and motivated to test, learn, and continuously develop both yourself and the way things are done. At the same time, you remain pragmatic and down-to-earth - focusing on solutions, not prestige, and doing what is needed to move things forward. You take ownership of your area and feel confident driving your work forward, while naturally bringing others with you.
In a dynamic production environment, you embrace change and know how to prioritize effectively when conditions shift. You build strong relationships across functions and contribute to a collaborative, engaged team where knowledge sharing and support are key to success.
Degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical Engineering or similar)
3-5 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, production engineering, or a similar role where you have developed a strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
Experience working in a high-paced production environment with daily priorities, continuous improvement and process optimization
Ability to work cross-functionally with different stakeholders
Basic understanding of financial aspects such as cost follow-up and investment justification
Experience in automated manufacturing environments is highly valued
Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Location
This position will be based in Huskvarna where the work will be conducted on site, with room for some flexibility.
