Background in safety-critical software development
Solid experience in requirements-based development
Skilled in working systematically from specification to implementation
Demonstrated ability to deliver on larger, complex projects
Development according to DO178 B/C standards
Knowledge of CAN and/or AFDX networks

We need a senior software engineer (C, C++) for our Radio Communication team You will be part of the Embedded Software department, which consists of 80 people, including junior and senior developers, testers and architects.Your team (10 FTE) will be primarily involve d in implementing features in C or C++, systematizing, debugging and verifying the systems. You work cross-functionally with electronics developers, software developers, testers, application engineers and team leaders. The position requires that you undergo and be approved in accordance with the current security regulations. For positions where the customer has security classification requirements, there may, where applicable, be a requirement for certain citizenship. About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automotive Software Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle of embedded systems for automotive applications, from requirement analysis through to qualification testing. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and work independently to deliver high-quality software components. Key Responsibilities · Analyze software and hardware requirements for automotive embedded systems. · Design system architecture, detailed modules, and software interfaces. · Develop, test, and integrate embedded software, including hardware drivers and bootloaders. · Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and qualification testing in compliance with automotive standards. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system bring-up and debugging. · Document design specifications and test procedures. · Work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team. What You'll Bring · 3+ years of experience in automotive embedded systems development. · Proficient in C/C++ programming; scripting experience in Python, Shell, or Perl. · Strong understanding of microcontrollers, device drivers, and embedded systems. · Hands-on experience with bootloaders, cross compilers, and toolchains. · Familiarity with software development lifecycle and working with hardware manuals, schematics, and data sheets. · Practical experience with automotive communication protocols: SPI, CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet. · Experience with debugging tools, simulators, emulators, and test equipment. · Team player with excellent self-management and communication skills. Nice to Have · Experience with AUTOSAR Classic Platform development. · Familiarity with AUTOSAR Configuration Tools (e.g., DaVinci, ECU Spectrum). · Understanding of Functional Safety concepts (ISO 26262). · Experience with multi-threaded and multitasking systems. · Knowledge of Automotive SPICE or CMMI frameworks.
