ABOUT THE JOB At Flatpay, we're building products that make running a business simpler. Thousands of merchants rely on our payment solutions every day. As we continue growing across our product surfaces, we're looking for a Product Designer who can turn complex merchant needs into products that are intuitive, reliable, and commercially impactful. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Flatpay Product Designer, you'll design for merchants who don't have time for clunky software. As we grow beyond point-of-sale and payments into financial services, online, and beyond, the ambition stays the same: build tools so intuitive and reliable they get out of the way and the merchant can just get on with running their business. That's how we earn trust — not by being flashy, but by being dependable, close to our customers, and genuinely on their side. It's a high bar, and it's yours to hit. What success after 3 months looks like: * Built real knowledge of merchant needs from field visits, not just secondhand notes * Shipped customer-centric designs informed by data and merchant feedback * Established a working rhythm with the PMs and engineers you partner with * Contributed to our design system rather than working around it * Become fluent in our AI prototyping process and use it to move ideas quickly * Started tracking the impact of your work and pushing the refinements that follow WHO YOU ARE How you think matters more to us than how many years you've worked or which frameworks you know. We're looking for someone curious, rigorous, and kind. Primary requirements * At least 2-4 years producing high-quality UI for web and mobile * A portfolio that shows real product-design skill: Figma and Figma components, user-centered design and research, a record of impact, and a strong eye for craft and pixel-level detail * Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team * A self-starter and a kind, supportive teammate * Fluent in English, written and verbal * On site in the Copenhagen office You likely bring * AI prototyping and design processes — using AI tools to prototype and explore ideas quickly, and to streamline the design workflow * Experience designing checkout, payment flows, lending, cash advance, or other financial-services products * Experience in the fintech/payments industry * French, Italian, Dutch, Danish, Finnish, or German is a plus DESIGN AT FLATPAY We're a small, international design team — six designers across three product domains and growing. What defines us is a genuine commitment to staying close to the people we're designing for: merchant visits, country trips, sharing early and often, and designing in the open to be inspired by and learn from each other. We make space for the bigger conversations too — not just critique of the work, but strategy, growth, and the things that shape how we design. How we work is shaped by the people who join — one designer introduced a buddy programme pairing colleagues across domains and seniority levels, and that kind of thing actually sticks here. Growth conversations are built in, kindness is a given, and there's a real seat at the table for someone who wants to help shape what this team becomes. We're also in the middle of a genuine shift in how design work happens. We've built internal AI tools that let designers prototype with our own product components in minutes, synthesise months of behavioural data into clear user stories, and run market research at scale. We've brought in external coaches, send designers to conferences, run a company hackathon twice a year, and give everyone dedicated time, an open AI budget, and a mandate to experiment. We want teammates who are genuinely curious about what AI means for the designer's craft — not someone who already knows every tool, just someone with a growth mindset and the willingness to lean in. We'll coach you on the rest. WHY FLATPAY? You'll join an ambitious, metric-driven, fast-growing fintech that believes in the power of personal connections — with our customers and with each other. You'll work on early-stage products where your design decisions have a sizeable impact on what gets built. You'll be an early member of our growing Product Design team, with the room to shape its processes, culture, and your own role. Decision paths are short, and you'll learn alongside senior leaders with over 15 years' experience. We have a modern Copenhagen office with an international, vibrant feel — free slush ice, an in-office gym, a fully equipped gamer room, and plenty of other fun things around the place. If your experience doesn't perfectly align with every point above, we'd still love to hear from you. When you apply, please share your resume and a link to a PDF or web portfolio showcasing your design work.
About us: Founded in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 2014, Templafy’s success is built by our 60+ employee nationalities found at offices around the world. We believe that when people feel valued, heard, and empowered, they perform at their best—creating a win for all. Our unique product and dedication to innovation and excellence have raised over $200 million in funding from top investors like Insight Venture Partners, Seed Capital, Dawn Capital, Damgaard Company and Golub Capital. About the role and company: I'm using AI to write the job posting, and I asked Codex to use the Slack connector to collect some "cultural proof points" about what it's like working at Templafy. This is what it came up with: Templafy engineering culture comes across as pragmatic, product-close, technically opinionated, and unusually open about trade-offs. · Engineers are expected to think like product builders, not just implementers. Threads often connect technical work to customer demos, pilots, product quality, adoption, and user feedback · Pragmatism is a real value. There’s repeated language around simple/explicit code, logical PR chunks, avoiding feature creep, solving the 80% case first, building MVPs, and getting something testable into users’ hands quickly · Quality matters, but in a practical way. Tests, E2E coverage, evals, pipeline health, flaky tests, feature-flag cleanup, and technical health all show up as shared concerns · Engineers are candid and trusted to challenge scope. I saw people questioning whether work should be bugs vs feature requests, whether backlog items are clutter, when to pause work, and when a “quick fix” is acceptable · Cross-functional collaboration is very present. PMs, design, solutions, support, security, platform, and product engineering are all in the same threads negotiating quality bars, customer urgency, UX, risk, and ownership · AI/tooling curiosity is strong, but not naive. The AI guild and engineering channels show people experimenting with code review agents, AGENTS.md, evals, Codex/Claude workflows, guardrails, and agentic SDLC, while also worrying about learning, friction, false positives, security, and long-term maintainability · There’s a bias toward async feedback and shared learning. Moving sprint review-style updates into short videos and Slack feedback is a good culture signal: fewer meetings, more continuous visibility · Ownership is distributed. People jump in to unblock, sanity-check, investigate, create PRs, clean up flags, or hand over work when someone is away. The tone is informal but accountable Small caution: I would avoid selling the culture as “perfectly polished.” The honest version is stronger: Templafy looks like a place where engineers have real agency, real product context, and real technical messes to improve. The rest of this job posting is probably more like what you'd expect. What You’ll Do In Product Engineering, you will help build and improve product experiences used by Templafy customers. You will work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand customer problems, shape solutions, and deliver features from idea through production. You will: * Build, improve, and maintain customer-facing product features * Collaborate with Product and Design to turn ambiguous problems into usable solutions * Use AI-assisted development tools thoughtfully as part of your everyday engineering workflow * Make technical decisions within your area and contribute to broader architecture discussions * Write reliable, maintainable code that fits existing patterns and systems * Use tests and fast feedback loops to support confident delivery * Build early versions of ideas to evaluate real behavior instead of debating hypotheticals * Help simplify product paths, remove complexity, and make features easier to test and maintain * Debug issues, improve performance, and support production systems * Help the team balance delivery speed, technical quality, and customer impact * Contribute to engineering practices, code reviews, and technical discussions What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who enjoys product context and wants to be part of shaping what gets built, not only how it gets built. You probably have: * Strong experience building production software in a product engineering team * Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools in real development work * The judgment to use AI tools without outsourcing your understanding of the system * Good technical judgment and the ability to make pragmatic trade-offs * Experience with modern web application development * A solid understanding of software design, testing, and maintainability * Comfort working across frontend, backend, or full-stack * Strong communication skills, especially in async and cross-functional settings * A bias toward making discussions concrete through prototypes, tests, and working software * A sense of ownership over outcomes, not just assigned tasks * The ability to challenge scope constructively and keep work focused Nice To Have * Experience with SaaS or B2B software * Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD, observability, distributed systems * Experience building AI-enabled products, agentic workflows, evals, or prompt/tooling systems * Interest in improving developer experience, technical health, and team practices What You’ll Join You’ll join a product engineering team that cares about building useful software, learning quickly, and keeping the systems healthy enough that we can keep moving. We value people who can ask good questions, make things simpler, and help the team find the right trade-off when there is no perfect answer. This is a good role for someone who wants meaningful product ownership, close collaboration with non-engineering colleagues, and enough technical complexity to make simplification genuinely valuable. We are looking for someone who can move fast, but who also knows that the fastest teams are usually the ones that keep their systems understandable. Tech stack Backend: C# / .NET, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, SQL Server Frontend: TypeScript, React, HTML/CSS/SCSS AI: LLM integration & agentic AI (tool-calling, multi-agent) Cloud/Infra: Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform DevOps: Azure DevOps / Pipelines, Git Testing: xUnit, Playwright Employee Benefits: * Employee equity program * Private health insurance * Company lunch contribution * Phone and broadband covered by company * Centrally located office – easy access to public transportation * Company events and team activities * Flexible work environment * Gympass Subscription * Calm App Subscription At Templafy, we’re all about building an inclusive culture where talented people come together to spark creativity in a dynamic, collaborative space. Strong relationships and teamwork are at the core of everything we do, and with our flat structure, everyone’s ideas count regardless of your role or experience. We’re big on social events that foster connection and build a diverse, empowering community. From celebrating milestones to participating in employee resource groups or eating lunch together, we create space for meaningful team bonding. Our mission goes beyond just building a product; we’re shaping the future, and we’d love for you to be a part of this epic journey with us. Templafy is a workplace of belongingness. To us this means that you have a voice, you dare to speak up, and your voice is heard. We focus on offering an environment that allows all employees to feel that they belong regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, gender, gender identity, genetic information, parental or pregnancy status, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, or other status.
By harnessing the power of technology and social behaviour, we have created a personalisation-powered, community-driven e-commerce platform with more than 75 million community members. We are looking for an iOS Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of the mobile experience, using an AI-first mindset to build features that help millions of users find their next favourite bottle with a single scan. Building the future of the Vivino iOS experience As our iOS Engineer, you will design, build, and ship high-quality features that define the mobile wine experience for millions. Based in our Copenhagen HQ and reporting to a Senior Engineering Manager, you will be a key driver in our fast-paced company, helping us move beyond traditional development to embrace agentic engineering. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of a feature—from initial architectural discussions to the final production release. Success in this role looks like a seamless blend of high-performance Swift code and cutting-edge AI features (like our "Sommelier") that make the app faster, smarter, and more intuitive for our global community. * Write clean, maintainable Swift code and contribute to architectural decisions that ensure app scalability and performance. * Actively use and experiment with AI tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and Copilot to amplify your productivity and delivery speed. * Work in cross-functional squads with Designers and Data teams to align technical solutions with user needs. * Directly contribute to building and refining AI-powered product features that revolutionise how users interact with wine. * Participate in code reviews and the iOS chapter to evolve our technical standards and mentor others. Curious, proactive, and excited about using AI to rethink how we build products and how we work as engineers Even if you do not feel you meet every single technical requirement listed below, we encourage you to apply if you have a passion for mobile development and a desire to learn. We are looking for a developer who excels at analysing problems and thrives on structuring concepts into robust mobile architectures. You take pride in delivering results through clean code. Still, you also understand the importance of relating to people and colleagues to ensure that technical decisions serve the broader product goal. You are naturally curious, collaborative, and supportive, and you view AI not just as a tool but as a fundamental shift in how great software is built. You are a mobile specialist who understands the unique pace of high-growth marketplace environments. Furthermore, we would imagine experience levels as follows: * Strong experience with Swift and modern iOS best practices, including proficiency in SwiftUI and UIKit. * A deep understanding of MVVM or similar patterns, with the ability to navigate existing codebases (including the occasional dive into legacy Objective-C). * Proven curiosity or experience in using AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code) to improve development workflows and experimentation. * Previous experience scaling products in e-commerce, mobile apps, or marketplaces is highly preferred.
