THE ROLE We're hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to own our CI/CD platform and developer experience. You'll be the person who makes shipping software fast, safe, and enjoyable, building the foundations that every engineering team relies on daily. Our infrastructure runs on Kubernetes in GCP, with Go microservices, Temporal workflows, and a modern observability stack built on Grafana Cloud. You'll work across the full delivery pipeline, from how code gets built and tested, to how it gets deployed and monitored in production. We're an AI-native engineering team. We use Claude Code daily and we think seriously about how AI tooling changes the way engineering work gets done. We want a DevOps engineer who brings that same mindset to infrastructure and tooling, automating aggressively, reducing toil relentlessly, and thinking about how the right platform decisions multiply productivity across the whole org. You'll have real ownership here. This isn't a support role; you'll set the direction for how we build, test, and ship software, and you'll work closely with our platform and product engineering teams to make sure the developer experience keeps pace with our ambitions. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Own and evolve our CI/CD pipelines, making them faster, more reliable, and easier to reason about * Define and drive our developer experience strategy — from local development environments to deployment workflows * Build internal tooling and automation that reduces friction and cognitive load for product engineers * Establish standards and best practices around deployment, testing pipelines, and release processes * Partner with the platform team on the boundary between infrastructure and developer tooling * Instrument and improve the observability of our pipelines and delivery process * Champion a culture of fast feedback loops and high deployment confidence * Use AI tooling to accelerate your own work and help shape how the wider team does the same * Identify and address systemic bottlenecks in how we build and ship software * Mentor engineers across the org on DevOps practices and platform tooling WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR ESSENTIAL * 6+ years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or a related role * Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms — GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or similar * Deep understanding of Kubernetes and container-based deployment workflows * Experience with GCP or equivalent cloud provider at production scale * Solid infrastructure-as-code fundamentals (Terraform or similar) * Strong scripting and automation skills — comfortable in Bash, Python, or Go * A genuine interest in developer experience: you care about how engineers feel when they interact with the systems you build * Experience working with observability stacks — metrics, logs, traces — and using them to improve pipeline reliability * Ability to work autonomously and drive initiatives with minimal guidance * Strong communication skills — able to work across teams and translate infrastructure concerns into language that lands with product engineers HIGHLY DESIRABLE * Experience with Temporal or workflow orchestration systems * Familiarity with Kafka or event streaming infrastructure * Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and the wider observability ecosystem * Background in platform or internal developer platform (IDP) thinking * Exposure to security and compliance tooling within CI/CD pipelines (SAST, SBOM, secret scanning) * Experience driving DevEx improvements and measuring their impact * Familiarity with AI-assisted development tooling and how it changes platform requirements OUR TECH STACK * Languages: Go, Bash, Python * CI/CD: GitHub Actions, ArgoCD * Infrastructure: Kubernetes, GCP, Terraform * Observability: Grafana stack (Prometheus, Loki, Tempo) * Messaging & Orchestration: Temporal, Kafka * Development Tools: Claude Code, AI-assisted development workflows WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE In your first 6 months, you will have: * Materially improved the speed or reliability of our CI/CD pipelines * Shipped at least one developer experience improvement that engineers talk about positively * Established clear ownership and standards around our deployment process * Built strong working relationships with platform and product engineering teams * Contributed to how we think about and measure developer productivity * Helped evolve our AI-assisted engineering practices within the DevOps domain Here’s our promise to you: * We are going to work with you - to build a rewarding and fulfilling career with the opportunities, challenges and resources you need to do you your best work. * We succeed together- you will own a meaningful part of the business through our employee shares & equity programme. * Private health insurance to keep you in tip-top condition. * Life Insurance – let's hope nobody ever needs this! * Unlimited holidays – yes, it really is uncapped – take the time you need, when you need it. * Everyone is learning, developing and challenging themselves so we have a £1k professional development fund per year if you want to learn new skills, even new things outside of work. * Most importantly of all, we will work with you, to help you realise your fullest potential, always.
Oslo Taxi and TaxiFix are building the next phase of a digital mobility platform with strong brands, significant scale and clear ambitions. We are looking for a commercially minded, data-driven leader who can turn traffic, customer behaviour, pricing, product and marketing activity into measurable growth. This is not a traditional marketing role. You will not primarily be measured on campaigns, reach or visibility. Your mission is to increase completed trips, conversion, customer loyalty and commercial impact through TaxiFix. About Oslo Taxi and TaxiFix Oslo Taxi is a leading mobility and passenger transport company in Norway. The group has around 450 employees, 1,900 affiliated drivers, 1,500 vehicles and completes approximately 4 million trips every year. TaxiFix is central to Oslo Taxi’s future development. The platform is evolving from a digital booking channel into a stronger customer platform and growth engine. Oslo Taxi is in the middle of a commercial and digital transformation. The ambition is to compete more effectively through better customer experiences, higher availability, more relevant customer dialogue, stronger use of data and a more seamless digital journey. The role As Head of Growth Platform, you will lead the commercial growth agenda for Oslo Taxi and TaxiFix. By Growth Platform, we mean the commercial growth engine and operating model around TaxiFix: KPI management, funnel optimisation, experimentation, CRM, customer dialogue, pricing and channel initiatives. This is neither a technical platform role nor a traditional marketing role. You will identify what actually drives growth, prioritise initiatives with measurable impact and make sure that data, product, pricing, customer dialogue and marketing activities work together. You will lead the Growth Platform Team, including internal resources within content, social media, production, digital channels and analytics. You should be comfortable working closely with analytics and data platforms, product development, digital customer platforms, CRM and marketing automation, experimentation and KPI management. You do not need to be a technical specialist, but you should understand how data, technology, customer insight and commercial initiatives can work together to improve conversion, increase completed trips and create better customer experiences. What you will do • Develop and drive the demand and commercial growth strategy for Oslo Taxi and TaxiFix. • Own and drive KPIs related to completed trips, conversion, active users, repeat usage, availability and profitable growth. • Increase conversion and the number of completed trips through stronger digital customer journeys. • Identify where customers drop off and prioritise initiatives that reduce friction. • Use data, customer insight and KPIs to prioritise, test, learn and improve. • Drive experiments related to segments, customer dialogue, timing, pricing and user experience. • Develop CRM, personalisation, marketing automation and digital communication flows. • Work closely with Product, Data & AI, Technology, Finance and Operations to turn insight into concrete initiatives. • Contribute to the commercial development and use of pricing mechanisms and steering models. • Lead and develop the Growth Platform Team. Who we are looking for We are looking for someone with experience creating measurable growth in a digital service, platform business, app, e-commerce company or another customer-oriented business with high transaction volume. You understand that growth is not only about acquiring traffic. It is about improving the full journey from interest and activation to conversion, completed purchase and repeat usage. You likely have experience from several of the following areas: • Digital growth, performance marketing or e-commerce. • Customer journey optimisation, conversion optimisation and funnel analysis. • A/B testing, experimentation and data-driven prioritisation. • CRM, marketing automation, segmentation and personalisation. • Collaboration across marketing, product, technology, analytics and operations. • Leadership of internal teams and collaboration with external agencies. Experience from mobility, transport, logistics, marketplaces, retail or businesses with complex supply-and-demand dynamics is an advantage, but not a requirement. We believe you will succeed if you • Are commercially sharp and motivated by measurable growth. • Are analytical, curious and comfortable working with data. • Enjoy testing, learning and improving quickly. • Combine strategic thinking with strong execution. • Are confident challenging established ways of working. • Can build trust and align different teams around shared goals. • Thrive in a changing organisation where solutions need to work for customers, drivers, operations and the business as a whole. Why Oslo Taxi? This is a rare opportunity to shape the growth engine of one of Norway’s most recognisable mobility brands. You will play a central role in developing TaxiFix, with real influence on customer experience, product, commercial direction and how Oslo Taxi competes in a rapidly changing market. You will work closely with data, technology, marketing, operations and business development, with a short distance from insight to action. Practical information The position is based at Carl Berner in Oslo. The role requires a high degree of presence in the office and close collaboration with internal stakeholders. SEATGEEK BELIEVES LIVE EVENTS ARE POWERFUL EXPERIENCES THAT UNITE HUMANS. WITH OUR TECHNOLOGICAL SAVVY AND FAN-FIRST ATTITUDE WE’RE SIMPLIFYING AND MODERNIZING THE TICKETING INDUSTRY. The Financial Technology team builds the systems SeatGeek's finance org runs on, and we're in the middle of an ambitious push to fundamentally change how accounting gets done. We're transforming how the entire controller organization operates - accounting, AP, tax, reconciliations, accruals - taking the routine, manual work and handing it to specialized AI agents and automations, so our team can spend their time on judgment instead of toil. This is a role for someone who knows enough finance to be dangerous and is relentless about automating it. As Lead Architect, you'll hit the ground running on an ambitious backlog of automation work, burn through it, and then take it further - raising the bar for what's possible and transforming how the work itself gets done. More building, more agentic development, less pointing and clicking. You don't need to be a career software engineer; you'll partner with a strong Finance Technology engineering team on the heaviest builds. What we need is someone who understands the domain deeply enough to see what should be automated, is endlessly curious about how to build it, and learns fast enough to go do it. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Execute against a well-defined automation roadmap and accelerate it - then push it to the next level, both in what we automate and in how we build it * Change how the work gets built - move us toward CLI-driven and agentic development and away from manual, point-and-click configuration, raising the technical bar for the whole team along the way * Build automations and AI agents across accounting, AP, tax, and the close - from inbox triage and invoice coding through reconciliations, flux analysis, accruals, and tax workflows * Help implement our close-management tooling (e.g. Ledge), including its NetSuite and data warehouse connections and the reliability work that makes an agentic close trustworthy * Configure and extend NetSuite, Zip, and the integration layer that ties our finance systems together, making sound calls on where logic should live across ERP, integration layer, and code * Work directly with accountants to understand their workflows, translate that into automation, and earn their trust in the systems you put in front of them * Make build-or-buy decisions and work with technology vendors, constantly weighing what to build in-house against what to bring in * Raise the bar for this work through design reviews, monitoring, and pragmatic operational practices - especially around the reliability and auditability that financial systems demand * Raise the bar for everyone around you - through how you build, code, design reviews and helping interview and grow the people on the team WHAT YOU HAVE * 5+ years of experience * Dangerous on accounting without being a career accountant - you understand how a controllership runs (accounting, AP, tax, the close) and can spot where the toil is and how to kill it * Intensely dissatisfied with the status quo - manual, repetitive process genuinely bothers you, and you can't leave it alone. You're the person who automates their own work, then comes for everyone else's * A fast and fearless learner - you move into unfamiliar tools, systems, and problems quickly and come out the other side dangerous * Relentless automation and AI curiosity - you stay on top of what AI can do, you've built or experimented with agents and automations yourself, and you have opinions about where it's genuinely useful * A roll-up-your-sleeves builder's instinct - you'll dig into system config, integration tools, scripting, and agent-building yourself, teaching yourself the parts you weren't trained for rather than waiting for someone else * Ambitious and opinionated - you bring a strong point of view, push for the better solution, and aren't satisfied with how things are done today * You're comfortable operating without a playbook - defining the approach, the architecture, and the roadmap simultaneously * You're able to break down complex technical and financial concepts and explain them clearly, holding your own with an accountant, an engineer, and a CFO in the same day * Comfort operating as a senior individual contributor - setting direction, making the calls, and leading through influence rather than headcount * Preferred if you've crossed from a finance, accounting, or consulting background into actually building the automation around it - not just specifying it * Preferably hands-on experience with some of the following: * AI agents and LLM-based workflows in a production setting, including the guardrails and monitoring they require * Accounting close and finance automation tooling, and the integrations that connect them OUR STACK Experience with every technology listed isn't expected, we've included them for transparency. What matters most to us is your domain expertise, your curiosity, and your ability to learn - not deep expertise in any one tool. * ERP & finance systems: NetSuite, Zip, and custom billing systems * Automation & integration: Workato, SuiteScript, REST APIs, MCP servers * AI tooling: Claude Code, Codex, Claude * Data & infrastructure: Redshift, dbt * Languages: SuiteScript, SQL, Python (and a willingness to write whatever the problem needs) We know that diverse teams build better products, and we're committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive. If you're excited about this role but your experience doesn’t align perfectly with every requirement, we still encourage you to apply - your background and skills might be just what we’re looking for! PERKS * Equity stake * Discretionary annual bonus * Flexible work environment, allowing you to work as many days a week in the office as you’d like or 100% remotely * A WFH stipend to support your home office setup * Unlimited PTO * Eligible for the SG discretionary annual bonus based on individual and company performance * Up to 16 weeks of fully-paid family leave * 401(k) matching * Student loan matching program * Health, vision, dental, and life insurance * Up to $25k towards family building, reproductive health services and Gender-affirming care * $500 per year for wellness expenses * Subscriptions to Headspace (meditation), Headspace Care (therapy), and One Medical * $360 per quarter to spend on tickets to live events * Annual subscription to Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon music ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The salary range for this role is $127,000 - $183,000 USD. This role is equity eligible. In addition, you may receive a discretionary annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
