The Software R&D Team Lead is responsible for leading and developing a team of software engineers working on specialized software development, including AI-integrated neurotech, industrial, and mobile applications systems. Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Lead, grow and develop a team of software engineers working on specialized software development, including AI-integrated neurotech, industrial, and mobile applications systems. • Build strong observability, incident management, and release pipelines to maintain high service availability and velocity. • Get hands-on contributing to software design, architecture, implementation and testing • Provide technical leadership to the team members. • Represent the team during collaboration with other cross-functional teams. • Support the performance goals definition, their monitoring and execution. • Set the technical roadmap, choose the right tech stack, align engineering goals with our overarching business objectives and manage it Requirements The tools in your backpack: • 10+ years experience in software engineering with at least 3 years in senior technical leadership role. • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing engineering teams • Proficiency and/or high experience with C#, C++, Python • Experience with mobile development platforms (iOS, Android, Flutter) • Proficiency in API design, microservices, and data security • Extensive experience with proven track record of leading technology teams in software product development • Strong understanding of AI technologies and ability to integrate AI/ML • Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, observability • Expert knowledge of general software engineering concepts, e.g. design patterns, algorithms, and data structures. • University degree in the field of computer science, applied mathematics, electronic engineering or comparable qualifications. • Fluent written and spoken English (C1 level). About the Job SSAB, in partnership with Korn Ferry, is looking for a Head of Construction Management who will be responsible for ensuring that the Luleå Mini Mill project has defined organization, tools, processes, competence and staffing to enable oversight, and performance assurance of overall construction management activities. SSAB - Head of Construction Management - KF Opportunities This includes organizational definition and roles, including cooperation and steering of PMC partner on construction/construction management activities. The role ensures construction management teams deliver in accordance with project targets, schedule milestones and defined processes. The role provides leadership, accountability, authority of the owner-side construction management, including PMC team who execute the oversight, coordination, and site-level assurance activities across all construction areas. The role serves as coach, advisor, senior support to the teams as needed to enable construction and construction management activities to progress efficiently. Commercial Acumen: Detailed understanding of vendor relationships and contract models, as well as complex internal interfaces between teams, construction areas, Owner an EPCM/PMC partner. Experience and knowledge of MEIP and Civil planning, scoping and execution Understanding of legal requirements of delegation of authority, work environment and general responsibilities within construction Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline Minimum 15 years of experience in construction management on large-scale industrial, infrastructure, or energy projects. Role Summary This role is a part of TRATON Group R&D, located in Södertälje, Sweden We are looking for a motivated candidate for the position of Industrial PhD Student in a joint research initiative between TRATON Group R&D and KTH. The doctoral work will be academically supervised by Professor Karl H. Johansson and Professor Jonas Mårtensson at KTH, in close collaboration with TRATON Group R&D. The project focuses on safety assurance for AI-based autonomous driving systems in heavy-duty vehicle applications. AI-based driving architectures can generate high-quality nominal driving behavior, but they also require independent safety mechanisms that ensure the executed motion remains safe, feasible, and predictable under uncertainty. The PhD project will investigate Guardrails and Verified Planning and Control methods for heavy-duty vehicles, with the aim of supporting near-term ADAS applications while building foundations for higher levels of automation. The work combines autonomous driving, control theory, optimization, machine learning, safety assurance, and heavy-duty vehicle engineering. Job Responsibilities Conduct doctoral research on safety assurance methods for AI-based autonomous driving systems. Develop and research methods that help ensure AI-generated driving behavior remains safe, feasible, and predictable for heavy-duty vehicles. Design, implement, and evaluate algorithms using simulation, scenario-based testing, and relevant industrial toolchains.
