Hi, I’m James, Head of Customer Success at hx.
I’m also an Arsenal season ticket holder and owner of Daisy, our team mascot and an official member of the CS team. Her
responsibilities mainly include boosting morale, appearing on calls and avoiding anything that looks like account admin.
Customer Success at hx is about much more than account management. We work with some of the world’s largest insurers to make sure
hx is driving real outcomes across pricing, underwriting and portfolio strategy.
Our Global Customer Success team is currently eight people, and we’re looking for someone to join us as we continue to grow.
You’ll work closely with some of our largest and most complex customers, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders,
driving adoption, managing renewals and turning customer insight into better product, delivery and commercial decisions.
It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys complex enterprise relationships, wants real ownership and is excited to help
shape how Customer Success continues to scale at hx.
Sounds interesting? Read more about us below.
At hyperexponential, we’re building the AI-powered platform that enables the world’s most critical decisions in a $7 trillion
industry - which risks to take, and how to price them. These are the decisions that shape real-world outcomes: whether rockets
successfully launch into space, autonomous vehicles make it to market, or communities recover after major storms.
Until now, insurance has been making billion-dollar decisions using outdated tools. We’re changing that. Our platform brings
together data, AI, and human expertise to give insurers the fastest path from submission to decision - helping them move faster,
act smarter, and take on more risk with confidence.
Backed by a16z, Highland Europe, and Battery Ventures, we’re scaling globally - already trusted by nearly 50 of the world’s
largest insurers, with zero churn and billions in premiums flowing through hx.
What began as a single product in one market has rapidly evolved into a multi-product, multi-territory platform powering every
stage of pricing and underwriting. AI is at the core of what we do - from building the world’s first domain-specific AI peer
programmer for insurance (think GitHub Copilot with a PhD in actuarial science) to shaping agentic workflows that reinvent how
this industry operates.
What makes hx different is the people who build it. Here, impact isn’t tied to title or tenure; it’s defined by the challenges you
take on and the discipline you bring. Surrounded by peers who stretch you, you’ll do the best, hardest work of your life in a
company engineered to endure. If that sounds like you, join us in building what comes next.
Our Customer Success team partners with hyperexponential’s largest and most complex customers to drive measurable value and
long-term adoption of the hx platform. We build deep, strategic relationships with enterprise insurers, align on business
outcomes, and ensure customers actively leverage core product capabilities to achieve those outcomes.
We work cross-functionally with Sales, Product and Delivery to create seamless experiences from onboarding through expansion. The
team values proactive ownership, clear communication, and rigorous follow-through, empowering every member to shape customer
success and influence our product roadmap.
As we scale, you’ll join a high-performing group that thrives on curiosity, collaboration, and impact. Your work will directly
strengthen customer outcomes, account health, and hx’s market reputation.

If reading our Culture Document leaves you feeling neutral rather than energised, hx may not be the place where you’ll do your
best work. We’re building something that asks for commitment and conviction, and we want you to feel excited by the opportunity to
grow with us.
At hx, we’re committed to salary transparency. You’ll always have clarity on pay early in the process - our Talent Partner will
share details with you during initial conversations - and we’re working towards publishing salary information for all roles
globally.
Because we’re building at the intersection of technology/SaaS and insurance, our roles don’t always map neatly onto traditional
benchmarks. Our approach is to design compensation that’s competitive in the market, fair across teams, and aligned with the
impact our people make.
Equity: We offer equity across all roles at hx, making it a significant component of total compensation. Your Talent Partner will
be able to share more details about this.
Additional perks
hxer’s are at the centre of everything we build. We know that progress depends on diverse perspectives, and we are committed to
creating an environment where everyone can thrive, grow, and make an impact. We recognise there is always more to do, and we take
responsibility for shaping a workplace that is not only diverse but genuinely inclusive.
Diversity is not just the right thing to do, it is key to solving the complex challenges we choose to take on. By welcoming people
from all backgrounds and experiences, we strengthen our ability to question assumptions, push boundaries, and design solutions
that endure.
If you’re energised by complexity and motivated to grow, we encourage you to apply and join our global team.

ABOUT THE TEAM The Customer and Consulting team sits at the heart of how hx delivers lasting value to its clients. As hx continues to expand across global carriers, reinsurers, and specialist MGAs, this team ensures that customers don't just adopt the platform, they transform the way they price and underwrite risk. The post-sale Solution Architect is a critical part of that mission, responsible for making sure the hx platform is deeply embedded in customer ecosystems, from reporting pipelines to security infrastructure and third-party integrations. This is a team that operates at the intersection of technical depth and customer partnership. The work is hands-on and high-stakes: translating complex customer environments into durable, scalable technical solutions, while building the kind of trusted relationships that drive adoption, margin, and long-term value. You will work closely with Customer Success and Delivery colleagues, acting as the technical anchor across multi-threaded customer engagements. The team is growing, and there is real scope to shape how the Solution Architect function scales. Whether you are designing AI-first delivery artefacts, contributing reusable patterns to a shared toolkit, or presenting architecture decisions to a Chief Information Officer, your work will directly influence the outcomes customers achieve, and the reputation hx builds in the market. Check out our Client Services Candidate Hub for a behind the scenes look at the team you would be joining! WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING * Own the technical relationship with a portfolio of strategic customers, becoming the trusted advisor who anticipates challenges, aligns delivery to outcomes, and ensures the hx platform is embedded confidently within each customer's ecosystem. * Design and deliver bespoke integrations between hx and a range of customer technologies, including policy administration systems, data warehouses, BI tooling, and identity providers, applying sound architectural judgement throughout. * Drive customer adoption and platform usage by developing structured value realisation plans that translate technical delivery into measurable business outcomes, including faster quote turnarounds, reduced pricing errors, and stronger MI capability. * Build AI-first consulting and delivery artefacts that raise the bar for how the team works, creating reusable frameworks, templates, and innovation outputs that can be shared across the broader SA toolkit. * Support project margin outcomes by managing delivery scope, surfacing risks early, and coordinating effectively with Customer Success Managers, Delivery Leads, and customer-side technical teams. * Contribute to team capability by sharing patterns, leading internal show-and-tell sessions, and helping to codify best practices as the Solution Architect function grows and scales. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE DONE * Able to code to a high standard using Python. * Supported the technical delivery of SaaS platform integrations in a team setting. It’s beneficial if you also have experience with AWS architecture, SQL, and a foundational understanding from a computer science or software development background. * Built and maintained positive technical relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, including IT and data teams, by communicating effectively across different priorities and environments. * Helped communicate technical choices and delivery progress to non-technical stakeholders, using clear, outcome-driven explanations that link integration work to business value. * Gained experience in a post-sale or customer-facing technical role—such as Junior Solution Architect, Technical Support, or Implementation Analyst—where you supported the delivery process or customer needs. * Used AI or automation tools to enhance the quality, speed, or consistency of your work, with an understanding of where these technologies can add value. * Supported the management of delivery processes, such as helping to plan project phases, identify risks, or coordinate with internal or external teams to meet project timelines. YOU'RE UNLIKELY TO THRIVE HERE IF * You prefer to stay in a narrow technical lane and hand off customer communication to others; this role requires genuine ownership across both the technical design and the stakeholder relationship. * You need a fully defined brief before getting started; ambiguity is a constant here, and the best work comes from people who move confidently without waiting for perfect information. * You measure success by delivery completion rather than customer outcomes; at hx, adoption, margin, and measurable value are the real bar. ABOUT THE TEAM Corporate Marketing at hx builds trust and mental availability — so the people we care about know what we stand for. We are a team of creatives, designers, brand storytellers, and experience makers, and we create the brand fuel that powers everything: the design, video, and creative output that turn awareness into measurable signals through owned media, thought leadership, and executive communications. This is a hands-on, AI-native team where experimentation is expected and creative judgement matters as much as execution speed. We stay involved from concept through to delivery, we hold a high bar for craft excellence, and we expect the same from everyone we work with. As Multimedia Creative Lead, you'll own the development and delivery of creative output across formats, set the quality bar for visual storytelling, and ensure hx's brand shows up with consistency and impact across every touchpoint. This role sits at the heart of how we bring who we are and what we're building to life — visually, creatively, and across every format we show up in. Check out our Marketing & GTM Engineering Candidate Hub for a behind the scenes look at the team you would be joining! WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING * Own the end-to-end creative process from brief to final delivery, producing high-quality video, motion, design, and event assets aligned to brand standards and campaign priorities. * Develop compelling storytelling concepts that bring hx's brand, customer success, and product narrative to life across multimedia formats. * Lead creative direction and production planning for out-of-home and experiential brand activations, coordinating execution for flagship events and priority campaigns. * Scope and coordinate external creative production partners — agencies, editors, photographers, and specialist freelancers — ensuring quality and delivery against tight timelines. * Use AI-native tools and industry-standard creative software to accelerate output and maintain creative consistency across a growing volume of work. * Collaborate closely with the Corporate Marketing team, product marketing, and leadership to turn strategic briefs into launch-ready creative that drives brand visibility and audience engagement. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE DONE * Led multimedia creative production for 7+ years across a creative agency, in-house brand team, or as an independent contractor, with demonstrable experience delivering high-quality work across video, motion, and design formats. * Shipped creative projects from concept to completion with minimal oversight, demonstrating strong creative judgement, storytelling instincts, and the ability to balance speed with craft excellence. * Built and maintained a network of external creative production partners, confidently directing and coordinating photographers, videographers, editors, and agencies to deliver exceptional outcomes. * Worked hands-on with AI-native creative tools such as Runway, Midjourney, Claude, ElevenLabs, Riverside, Jitter, and equivalent AI video generation platforms, alongside industry-standard tools including After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma, and equivalents. * Worked independently across design and motion — comfortable producing assets in Figma without designer oversight, developing motion work independently, and briefing specialist teams for larger concept-led projects. * Produced founder, exec, or personality-led creative work — understanding how to build a compelling human story through video, design, and multimedia formats. YOU'RE UNLIKELY TO THRIVE HERE IF * You prefer heavily structured environments with extensive oversight and clearly defined processes at every stage. * You need to be the loudest creative voice in the room — this role requires confidence without ego and the ability to elevate others' ideas as much as your own. * You're comfortable shipping work that's good enough — the bar here is high and the standard is non-negotiable.
