We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Business Manager Revenue to act as an impact multiplier for our Chief Revenue
Officer. This is a critical role that will work in close partnership with the CRO, CoS and Head of RevOps to drive strategic
initiatives, manage key projects, and ensure the seamless operation of the entire revenue organisation.

The Role We're looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Account Executive with a start-up mindset and a SaaS background to drive new business growth across the UK market. This is a true hunter role. You'll own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and close, working with a healthy mix of inbound opportunities, outbound prospecting, networking and industry events. We're looking for a high performer early in their sales career, someone hungry and driven with a demonstrable track record of successfully closing new business in a SaaS environment. You will be looking to accelerate your development within a high-growth company and relish the opportunity to work in a challenging environment where overachievers are recognised, respected and rewarded. What You'll Be Doing * Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and close. * Build and manage a pipeline of mid-market and enterprise customers across the energy sector. * Develop relationships with senior stakeholders and key decision-makers. * Lead discovery meetings and deliver compelling product demonstrations. * Negotiate and close high-value subscription agreements and multi-year contracts. * Identify opportunities to expand relationships and generate additional revenue. * Represent Modo at industry events, conferences and customer meetings. About You We're looking for someone who combines strong commercial instincts with excellent business development and relationship-building skills. You'll come from a smaller SaaS, software, data, research or subscription-based environment, where the sales lifecycle is tough and the competition is fierce. You have been responsible for generating new business, managing opportunities from prospecting through to close and consistently surpassing revenue targets through your relentlessness, consistent effort, initiative and resilience. You'll be comfortable opening conversations with senior stakeholders, navigating multiple decision-makers and driving opportunities through to completion. What We're Looking For * 1-3 years' experience in a quota-carrying SaaS sales role with responsibility for closing new business. * A proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a start-up, scale-up or high-growth environment. * Experience managing opportunities through the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close. * Comfortable generating pipeline through a combination of inbound leads, outbound activity, networking and events. * Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce. * Experience using AI tools to support prospect research, outreach, account planning and sales productivity. * Energy market experience is beneficial but not essential. YOUR MISSION: To join us in transforming the international energy trading market and make a meaningful impact in re-defining how energy traders work. You’ll be the face of enmacc with our clients in the UK energy market working closely with this client segment and engaging them to become digital pioneers in energy trading. WHAT YOU’LL DO: You will be responsible for the long-term success of our international, professional trading customer base and with the full support of the business and your team you will: * Work closely with a portfolio of current clients to define success and help them maximise value out of engaging with the enmacc platform in the UK market. * Proactively have regular touch points with clients, planning & supporting their trading needs. * Develop and convert a pipeline of prospective clients in the large, international energy and environmental commodity trading segment in the UK. * Lead the onboarding process of new clients and assist them in fostering user adoption within their whole organisation. * Independently manage the development of new and current client accounts and the evolution of the UK energy market, regarding business opportunities and market trends. * Act as a link between departments to drive customer advocacy by delivering actionable client feedback. WHO YOU ARE: * Five or more years of experience in the energy origination or trading business; for example, as an Energy Trader or energy-related Software Account Manager. * Experience in the UK energy space is a must, with a strong network that enables you to effectively contribute from day one. * Knowledge of both physical and financial energy trading. * Highly motivated regarding your career, your skills, and your success. * Proactive and self-motivated professional who can work on your own initiative, with an innovative and growth-oriented mindset. * Affinity for digital products and services, with the confidence that digitalisation is key to market growth. * Skillful at building long-term relationships with traders and key stakeholders. * Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus). * Ability to travel periodically to our Munich Head Office Don't match every single requirement? This role is critical in bridging the gap between our software development teams and our end users. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate complexity and translate their business needs into impactful outcomes through our platform. Responsibilities * Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, including developers, utilities, and funds, supporting them in integrating Modo Energy’s solutions into their strategic decision-making processes while identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities to drive account growth. * You will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, focusing on account growth, retention, and achieving revenue targets. * Guide customers in using Modo Energy’s software suite to construct long-term power market scenarios, leveraging your expertise in power markets, while helping clients navigate and interpret complex results and resolving troubleshooting issues. * Collaborate with team leadership to coordinate resources and support strategic initiatives across the user base, ensuring alignment with client goals and product team insights. * Gather and communicate client feedback and pain points to the product team, contributing to continuous improvement and the product roadmap. * Oversee the integration of Modo Energy’s software suite into client operations, ensuring smooth adoption, proactively monitoring account health, and taking steps to prevent and resolve potential issues. * Understand client pain points and convey these back to the product teams to refine product roadmaps according to user needs.Monitor, track, and report on health of software accounts, taking proactive steps to anticipate and resolve incidents before escalation. * Implement initiatives to promote Modo Energy’s software community within the region and foster client engagement. Qualifications * 4+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or sales, ideally within a SaaS, energy, or tech environment. * Experience in roles where you have carried a revenue target or have been involved in driving account growth is a key requirement. * Deep interest and knowledge of SaaS products; interest/experience in power markets/energy transition is a plus. * Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex topics of both technical and non-technical audiences across different seniority levels. * Strong process management skills, with experience in leading and delivering time-critical projects. * Confident stakeholder management abilities, able to collaborate cross-functionally to drive new initiatives. * Self-starter with a creative problem-solving approach. * Proven ability to analyze, interpret, and derive insights from complex quantitative data. * Preferred Skills: familiarity with CRM and customer success platforms to monitor client health and track account growth opportunities.
