Role Overview
Fresha is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our dynamic, fast-growing organisation. The CFO will play a pivotal role in defining Fresha’s financial strategy and steering the company’s continued global expansion.

Your responsibilities Your responsibilities will vary; however, some of them will be to: * Prepare annual budgets for effective financial planning. * Provide weekly updates on cash flow. * Conduct monthly P&L and cash updates for comprehensive financial insights. * Evaluate and implement cost optimisation programs. * Review intercompany and external loans to ensure optimal financial health. * Lead the Working Capital responsibilities. * Manage the Human Resources Financial Planning responsibilities. * Offer support to sales and operations teams. Location: London Status: permanent Reports to: Deputy Chief Financial Officer Job purpose: The Head of Financial Control is responsible for leading the Foundation’s end to end Statutory Reporting, Management Reporting, and Financial Control activities across all operating countries and at the consolidated group level. This role will oversee the month end close, yearly audit processes, and ensure all statutory, regulatory, and internal reporting requirements are delivered accurately and on schedule. The role manages a team of accountants and financial controllers across multiple geographies, ensuring that financial controls are robust, reporting is consistent and compliant, and that the Group’s financial position is clearly and reliably communicated. A core priority is to optimise, standardise, and automate financial control processes to strengthen governance, enhance accuracy, and support timely delivery. The role will also define and monitor SLAs to ensure a consistent, high quality service across the Foundation. Principal accountabilities: Leadership & Governance * Lead and develop the Financial Control teams across all countries, fostering a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continual improvement. * Provide strategic leadership for the Group’s financial control framework, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements. * Act as the primary contact for external auditors, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders on all matters relating to financial control and statutory reporting. Statutory Reporting * Oversee the preparation and submission of all statutory accounts for the Foundation across all jurisdictions. * Manage group level consolidation and the production of consolidated financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards. * Ensure all statutory filings are completed accurately, in full, and in line with regulatory deadlines. Management Reporting * Own the month end close process, ensuring a controlled, timely, and accurate close across all business units and geographies. * Produce high quality monthly and quarterly management reporting packs, ensuring financial performance is presented clearly, accurately, and with appropriate insight. Drive consistency in reporting standards, templates, and methodologies across all countries. Audit & Compliance * Lead the annual external audit process, ensuring timely preparation of audit schedules, coordination with auditors, and resolution of queries. * Maintain a strong internal control environment, ensuring policies, procedures, and reconciliations are adhered to across all jurisdictions. * Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting, legal, regulatory, and internal governance requirements. Process Optimisation & Automation * Identify, design, and deliver process improvements to enhance control, reduce risk, and improve reporting accuracy and speed. * Drive automation and system optimisation across financial control processes, collaborating closely with technology and systems teams. * Standardise workflows, documentation, and control processes across countries to ensure consistency and operational efficiency. Stakeholder Management * Work closely with Finance Operations, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and other internal functions to ensure cohesive financial reporting and alignment with organisational priorities. * Provide financial insights and technical accounting guidance to senior leadership, country teams, and project teams. * Support strategic initiatives through accurate, timely financial information and strong financial governance. Service-Level & Performance Management * Develop, monitor, and continually improve SLAs and KPIs for Financial Control activities. * Ensure all tasks—month end, quarter end, annual reporting, statutory filings—are delivered accurately and on schedule. * Monitor and communicate performance metrics and control exceptions, driving accountability across the team. Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience: Qualifications Fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline preferred. Knowledge & Experience * Significant experience in Financial Control leadership roles, including managing statutory and management reporting in a multi entity or multi country environment. * Strong technical accounting expertise, ideally with experience in IFRS accounting frameworks. * Proven experience managing group consolidation processes and complex audits. * Demonstrated success in improving, automating, and standardising financial processes. * Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and working in a multinational or foundation/non profit environment (advantageous). * Strong understanding of internal controls, risk management, and financial compliance frameworks. * Experience with ERP and consolidation systems (e.g. Microsoft Business Central). About the Role The Head of Finance reports to the Chief Operating Officer and leads the finance function for a global business generating over $50M in revenue, with a growth trajectory toward $100M over the next 3–5 years. The finance function must scale with that trajectory, built to investor-grade standard and ahead of the curve the business is on. The role is accountable for financial planning, accounting, reporting, treasury, compliance, controls, and investor-facing outputs across a multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction environment. The role serves as the senior financial advisor to the CEO and COO on forecasting, liquidity, capital structure, financing strategy, investment decisions, and growth planning. Behavox has a mature M&A strategy in place as one of several growth levers, and the Head of Finance is expected to bring strong hands-on financial modelling capability to acquisition evaluation, financing analysis, scenario planning, and post-transaction financial integration planning. The Head of Finance is also accountable for building a scalable, AI-native finance function. This includes managing the finance team, maturing financial systems and processes, implementing end-to-end automation, integrating AI-enabled workflows, and improving the speed, accuracy, control, and maintainability of finance operations. What You'll Bring 1. Enterprise FP&A and financial model architecture – Knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, revenue planning, cash flow modelling, and investment analysis. Applies this knowledge to support executive decisions, M&A evaluation, financing strategy, and board, investor, and lender reporting. 2. Capital structure and treasury – Knowledge of financing instruments, liquidity planning, banking relationships, debt facilities, covenants, FX exposure, and cash controls. Applies this knowledge to support growth while managing funding risk, timing, and cost of capital. 3. Global accounting and multi-jurisdictional reporting – Knowledge of accounting standards, revenue recognition, consolidation, intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, and financial controls across jurisdictions. Applies this knowledge to ensure financial outputs are accurate, consistent, and controlled. 4. Finance operating model and team leadership – Knowledge of how to structure finance teams, processes, systems, workflows, access controls, documentation, and operating cadences. Applies this knowledge to build a scalable and maintainable finance function with clear ownership and reduced key-person dependency. 5. AI-native finance systems and automation – Knowledge of finance systems, workflow automation, AI-enabled tooling, agentic processes, and data flows across financial operations. Applies this knowledge to identify, assess, and implement technology that improves accuracy, efficiency, control, and scalability. What You'll Do 1. Finance function leadership – Leads the finance team and owns the finance operating model across FP&A, accounting, reporting, treasury, controls, compliance, and investor relations. Holds ultimate accountability for output quality, role clarity, control discipline, and scalability. 2. Financial modelling and strategic analysis – Personally owns the quality and logic of the company’s core financial models. Reviews, challenges, and helps the team refine models used for forecasting, M&A, financing, scenario planning, and executive decision-making. 3. Budgeting, revenue planning, and performance reporting – Drives the annual budget, re-forecasting cadence, and management reporting process. Ensures Sales, RevOps, People, and Finance inputs are translated into controlled planning outputs, including pipeline-to-revenue bridges, personnel budgets, non-personnel budgets, commissions accruals, opex and capex. 4. Treasury and capital planning oversight – Oversees cash forecasting, liquidity planning, banking relationships, costs controls, payment controls, debt facilities, covenant reporting, FX exposure, and financing analysis. Provides senior judgement on capital structure, financing timing, and cost of capital. 5. Close, audit, compliance, and automation governance – Holds ultimate accountability for close, consolidation, audit readiness, statutory compliance, accounting policy application, transfer pricing coordination, and investor reporting. Ensures the team has the systems, controls, automation, documentation, and advisor support required to execute consistently.
