Position Overview We’re looking for a Delivery Manager to join our Customer Success Team and help drive meaningful outcomes at the intersection of AI and insurance. You’ll collaborate with people who bring diverse perspectives, challenge each other to think bigger, and move together toward shared goals. What You’ll Do * Agile and Lean Practices: Champions best practices, coaches teams, and visualizes organizational work. * Communication: Effectively communicates across technical and non-technical boundaries, building trust and authenticity. * Delivery Momentum: Optimizes team flow, addresses issues, and builds agile capabilities within the team. * Planning: Leads continual planning processes, extending beyond product delivery to post-launch support and benefits realization. * Team Dynamics and Collaboration: Identifies and rectifies issues in team dynamics, engages in effective feedback, and connects day-to-day work with the product vision. * Lifecycle Perspective: Understands and contributes to different phases of product delivery, working with Customer Success and Product Lead for continuous improvement. * Team Management: Effectively manages a business analyst and a Customer Engineer. You might bring: * Proven experience in Agile project management, demonstrating successful implementation of methodologies. * Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, addressing challenges proactively. * Track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery. * Effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels. * Strong understanding of technology and its applications, especially in AI/Data Science products. * Continuous learning mindset, staying abreast of industry trends in Agile practices. * Adaptability to a fast-paced and evolving work environment. Bonus points if you also have: * Multilingual skills: Ability to write and speak multiple languages. * Remote working experience: Successful remote working experiences. * Agile Certification: CSM, TKP, KMP, or KCP. * Industry experience: Distributed teams, AI/Data Science products. * Insurance Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the insurance industry. About the role As a delivery manager, you’ll own the end-to-end success of high-impact AI projects for our clients. You will be the crucial link between our customers and technical teams, ensuring on-time delivery, maximising value, and cultivating strong relationships which position Faculty as the partner of choice for future AI projects. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: * Owning the end-to-end delivery of customer projects, from initial scoping to final implementation * Collaborating with technical teams, and customers, to design innovative AI solutions that solve their challenges and leverage opportunities * Managing project development and ensuring a delivery approach that provides maximum value to the customer * Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle * Identifying new commercial opportunities and contributing to new business pitches and proposals * Developing and mentoring your peers’ taking a proactive role in building good processes and practices WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR: * You have previous experience in professional services, ideally from a consulting, technology, or data background * You take full responsibility for the successful delivery of your projects, from initial scoping to end-user adoption * You are an exceptional communicator, with outstanding written and verbal skills, and experience managing senior stakeholders * You are comfortable working with technical teams and have experience delivering technical projects, ideally in AI * You are a practical problem-solver, identifying potential issues and proactively implementing solutions OUR RECRUITMENT ETHOS We aim to grow the best team - not the most similar one. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Delivery Manager in our Energy Transition & Environment team at Faculty, you will act as a pivotal commercial and delivery lead, driving high-stakes AI transformation for the UK’s most critical partners in this space. You will be a key point of contact for both our external clients and internal technical teams, building deep networks of influence and solving complex challenges by bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI research and operational mission needs. With an entrepreneurial spirit, you will work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure every project delivers meaningful, long-term value in a fast-evolving landscape. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: * Owning the end-to-end delivery of our AI projects for prominent clients across the energy and utilities value chain, from initial scoping and daily driving to final implementation * Collaborating with technical, innovation, and other key client teams * Managing projects, driving development and ensuring a delivery approach that provides maximum value to the customer * Forming strong, trusting relationships with customers, internal team members (e.g. data scientists, ML engineers), and technical partners to translate user research into solution requirements and operational impact * Developing and executing compelling proposals to grow our footprint and impact across the Energy Transition sector. * Advising clients on AI strategy and technical implementation, acting as a trusted partner in high-stakes environments (with support from a technical team) * Mentoring your peers and taking a proactive role in building robust processes and practices within the team. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR: * You possess experience in consultancy or service-based delivery, allowing you to manage complex project lifecycles and meet critical deadlines under pressure. * You possess a broad understanding of the energy value chain, ideally with demonstrable experience working for relevant players (for example, but not limited to: utilities, suppliers, traders, policymakers/regulators) * You take full responsibility for the successful delivery of your projects, from initial scoping to end-user adoption within regulated businesses * You are an exceptional communicator, with outstanding skills in managing senior stakeholders and translating complex concepts for non-technical audiences. * You are comfortable working with technical teams and have a proven track record of delivering technical projects, ideally in AI. * You are a practical problem-solver, identifying potential risks to important missions in this space and proactively implementing solutions. * You thrive in ambiguous settings and demonstrate a structured approach to problem-solving and delivering high-quality, high-stakes projects.
