Some key info for you about Liberis: 🌱 We were founded in 2007 💰 We have provided over $3bn of funding to small businesses so far 🚀 We have been named in CNBC & Statista Top 150 UK Fintechs for 2025 🌍 We're a global team, with a dynamic presence in 6 key locations around the world 🧠 We're a thriving community of over 290 innovative minds 👩🏾 🤝 👨🏼 We're a vibrant melting pot, celebrating over 27 nationalities in our team 🏢 Our team brings experience from over 740 previous companies, from startups to global giants 🎯 We have just been named as one of FinTech’s Finest 50 by Welcome to the Jungle 💪 We’re proud to be an accredited Real Living Wage employer, ensuring everyone is paid fairly for the great work they do! Liberis is in the middle of a meaningful shift. We started as a single-product business and are quickly becoming a truly multi-product embedded finance company, with different funding structures, revenue models and customer relationships sitting alongside each other in the same portfolio. That complexity creates real demand for better data, better insight and clearer thinking about how all of it fits together - with this role sitting at the centre of that challange! The role: As our Senior Data Product Manager, you’ll sit right at the intersection of product, analytics, engineering and senior leadership, helping define the data products that power smarter decisions across Liberis. You’ll have real ownership over roadmap, prioritisation and ways of working, and your work will directly influence how teams access, understand and use data day to day. This role is a high-impact opportunity for someone who wants to shape how a business uses data at scale! You’ll be joining a team with a broad remit and a genuine mandate to improve the data experience across the company, so there’s a lot of scope to make the role your own and shape the future of the domain. You will own the data and insights product for Liberis, building the foundations that let our commercial, credit and operations teams actually understand the business they're running. That means, thinking carefully about the entities in our data model, how products and customers relate to each other, how those relationships surface in reporting and analysis - and how it eventually all comes out in great dashboards, tools and self-serve capabilities. This is about shipping products which are genuinely useful, not just technically correct. Our Engineering Team is going through an AI-first transformation, rethinking how teams are structured and how they ship. Data, insights and analytics are a crucial part of that journey and you will be a key player in leading, innovating and rapidly improving our posture and capabilities at the intersection of data and AI. If you like solving genuinely hard problems, bringing clarity to complex environments and building products that have visible business impact - this is the role for you! What you'll do: Your primary job is to help Liberis's commercial decision makers understand the small businesses we serve and how they consider, use and perform across our product range. Doing this well requires a clear conceptual model of the business and a willingness to engage with stakeholders across the business, as well as taste and customer empathy in developing a great insights product including dashboards, insight tools and self-serve capabilities. You will own the roadmap for our internal data & insight products. Working with stakeholders across commercial, credit, finance and operations, you will define what good looks like and then work with your team to build it. You will run prioritisation, manage the backlog and make decisions about where effort goes. You will also spend a meaningful amount of time in the detail, reviewing data models and dashboards, asking hard questions about definitions, and making sure what we ship is accurate and trusted. You will partner closely with the engineering side of your team on how data is modelled and structured in BigQuery and DBT, and with analysts on how it gets presented in Looker. You don't need to write production code, but you need enough technical understanding to be a genuine partner in those conversations. You will also be responsible for continuing to expand our partner-facing reporting, whereby partners gain visibility into their portfolio. What we think you'll need: This role requires someone who can think clearly about complex data structures and translate that thinking into products that non-technical people actually find useful. The ideal person has strong conceptual thinking skills, great product instincts and enough technical depth to earn the trust of the engineers and analysts they work with. * Proven experience in a senior data product or analytics product role in a business with real complexity * A track record of helping commercial teams make better decisions through better data, not just shipping dashboards * Strong ability to think about entities, taxonomies and relationships in data * Hands-on experience with Looker and LookML and familiarity with best practices and scalable approaches to these systems * Working knowledge of SQL, DBT and BigQuery, enough to engage seriously with how data is modelled and what's feasible, and to express your thinking in code-speak where needed * Experience working with a multi skilled team of analysts and data engineers * Clear, confident communication with senior commercial stakeholders Next steps If this opportunity feels like the right fit for your next career move, we’d love to hear from you! Even if you don’t meet every requirement, don’t hesitate to apply or reach out to Chess (Internal Recruiter) on chess.crossley@liberis.com Our hybrid approach Working together in person helps us move faster, collaborate better, and build a great Liberis culture. Our hybrid working policy requires team members to be in the office at least 3 days a week, but ideally 4 days. At Liberis, we embrace flexibility as a core part of our culture, while also valuing the importance of the time our teams spend together in the office. #LI-CG1
