We are looking for a Senior Search Analyst to work on data-led analytical elements of our paid search program. About the role In this role you will join the Search Engine Marketing (SEM) bidding team, who own and manage the data-led systems that ensure we’re making the most out of our paid search advertising spend. Your contribution will have a direct impact on paid search bidding strategies, optimizing existing automated systems and using data to help identify new opportunities or problem areas in paid search marketing. You will work in collaboration with the wider SEM team, Data Science and Data Engineering teams to actively measure and manage the performance and optimization of our paid search program across UK & FIGS markets. Furthermore, you will help the team adopt AI. This means finding real-world applications for AI tools to make our systems run faster, improve the quality of our data analysis and uncover deeper analytical insights. What You'll Do * Produce original analyses to identify and explore opportunities to optimize our search engine marketing (SEM) bidding strategies towards maximizing revenue. * Seek out and implement improvements to our existing automated paid marketing systems. * Plan and execute measurement tests and experiments to evaluate the impact of different bidding strategies and apply findings to improve performance. * Apply analytical techniques to measure the true return of our SEM spend. * Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Marketing and Data Science/Machine Learning to align on strategies, share insights, and ensure objectives are met. * Check on marketing performance daily and regularly report outward to the wider team and upward to the leadership team about trends, wins, and future plans. * Leverage AI tools and technologies for day-to-day tasks & systems to enhance efficiency, generate insights and streamline workflows. * Stay informed and proactively implement emerging ad technologies, best practices in media systems management and bidding optimization, process improvements and automation to enhance performance. Skills & Experience * Bachelor's degree in Business / Maths / Statistics or a related quantitative field. * 2+ years experience working in a data analytics position, preferably in a digital marketing environment. * Ability to turn complex data into compelling storytelling and actionable recommendations. * Expertise in interrogating data using SQL and writing custom SQL queries, and understanding of database structures. * Understanding of statistical analysis techniques used for experimental design such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis and time series analysis. * Experience using AI tools in your day-to-day workflow, with a genuine eagerness to expand your knowledge and application of AI within SEM, data and bidding. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present findings, explain complex concepts and influence stakeholder decisions making. * Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. * Has a genuine passion for learning and self-improvement, continuously seeking out new opportunities to expand knowledge and skills. * Prior exposure to Paid Search, Bidding, and Marketing KPIs is a strong plus.
