Our products have more than 12.5 million users worldwide, and we count 88 of the Fortune Global 100 companies among our customers. As JetBrains continues to expand its business activities, we are seeking a proactive legal professional to support our internal procurement and business stakeholders. We are looking for a legal professional to join our Legal team and support the procurement function across the company. The role focuses on the lifecycle management of supplier and vendor agreements, ensuring that commercial objectives are achieved while maintaining appropriate legal and operational safeguards. You will partner with Procurement, Finance, Security, Product, IT, Data Privacy, and Compliance to ensure supplier relationships are structured effectively and risks are appropriately managed. This role combines commercial contract review, stakeholder coordination, and structured risk management within a fast-paced global environment. This is a hybrid position. Most team members work partly from home, but we also meet regularly in the office. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL: * Own and drive the end-to-end contract management process for procurement-related agreements, from request validation through execution and post-signature follow-up. * Review, draft, and negotiate supplier agreements, including vendor contracts, service agreements, technology procurement agreements, and related documentation. * Assess incoming contracts (e.g., JetBrains templates vs. supplier templates) and define an appropriate review and negotiation strategy based on risk, scope, and business needs. * Act as a project manager for contract negotiations with suppliers, coordinating internal stakeholders and consolidating feedback into a clear and consistent position. * Partner closely with Procurement and business stakeholders to ensure contracts support operational and strategic objectives. * Identify contractual and operational risks associated with supplier agreements and prepare structured risk assessments where required. * Drive appropriate internal reviews with relevant stakeholders (e.g., Security, Privacy, Compliance, Finance) and ensure alignment with company policies. * Manage contract execution processes, including e-signature workflows, quality control, and adherence to internal approval standards. * Ensure proper post-signature governance by archiving agreements, tracking contractual obligations, and documenting non-standard terms. Experience in one or more of the following areas is considered an advantage: vendor and supplier contracting, technology procurement, SaaS or IT services agreements, or structured risk management. REQUIREMENTS Our new colleague should possess and demonstrate: * A degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field. * 5+ years of relevant post-university experience, ideally in a multinational corporation or international business environment. * Strong experience in commercial contract review and negotiation, particularly in supplier or vendor agreements. * Practical understanding of risk assessment and the ability to escalate and communicate complex issues clearly. * Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive processes across cross-functional teams. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. * Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple parallel negotiations. * Experience working with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools or ticketing systems is an advantage. WE’D BE ESPECIALLY THRILLED IF YOU: * Possess quick reflexes when dealing with foreign laws and novel concepts. * Have the ability to provide clear and concise advice that is understandable to internal clients without any legal background. * Can demonstrate a flair for creative and lateral problem-solving, supported by precise research. * Demonstrate strong critical thinking and analytical abilities. * Are diligent and self-reliant with excellent time-management skills. * Are transparent and display integrity and openness with your teammates and the business as a whole. What you’ll get in return: * We offer a comfortable, modern, and ergonomic working environment designed with your well-being in mind — including fitness facilities, a kid’s corner, leisure areas, and even a power nap room. You’ll enjoy flexible working hours with the option to work from home or remotely, along with five weeks of vacation, five additional paid days off, and sick days. In case of official sick leave, we provide 100% salary reimbursement for up to two months. * Our benefits package includes a meal allowance, a flexible annual well-being budget, free monthly massages, refreshments and snacks at the office and parking. We also support your growth and team spirit through soft-skills training, educational book purchases for our office library, and regular team-building events. And of course, you’ll be surrounded by helpful, engaged colleagues in a truly unique company culture — plus a few birthday surprises along the way. Why join JetBrains? * Strong base salary. We offer competitive pay that reflects your skills and experience. * Flexible work location. Enjoy the freedom to work from home or from the office. * Remote work. Spend up to 30 days per year working remotely from abroad. * Extra time off. More days to relax, recharge, and do the things you love. * Medical insurance allowance. Enjoy peace of mind for you and your family. * Learning and development opportunities. Access to conferences, courses, and language classes. * Language classes. Pick up the local language or sharpen your English skills. * Fuel your day. Enjoy a hot meal or receive a lunch allowance on workdays. * Mental health support. To help you feel your best, we provide easy access to professional mental health services. * Sports benefit. Enjoy an on-site gym or sports club stipend. * Internal events. Join company-wide celebrations and team gatherings. #LI-HYBRID #LI-YY1 We are an equal opportunity employer We know great ideas can come from anyone, anywhere.
