The Senior Manager, Venue Security Infrastructure reports to the Director of Security, Venue Infrastructure and will assist in the
development and implementation of all LA28 Venue Security Infrastructure plans. This role will be responsible for the
specification and planning of all LA28 provided elements of Venue Security Infrastructure including, fencing and barriers, hostile
vehicle mitigation, search and screening equipment (metal detection and x-ray equipment,) security lighting, CCTV, drones (UAS,)
Games accreditation and access control equipment, and other elements of physical or electronic security infrastructure as
required. This role will be responsible for ensuring that construction and installation plans are developed and integrated with
the LA28 Venues and Infrastructure functional area, and all scheduling is deconflicted for efficient implementation. This position
will serve as a main point of contact for Venue Security Infrastructure into the wider Games Security ecosystem. This role
requires close collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure comprehensive and effective development and
implementation of approved security infrastructure plans. The role requires a proven and effective collaborator and experience
drafting venue security infrastructure plans and documents including Venue Security Infrastructure Concepts of
Operation, Training, and Policy and Procedure Development. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and
project management skills who can work collaboratively with multiple functional areas (departments), government and public safety
agencies, and a diverse set of stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented individual with
strong communication skills.
Strategic Planning & Integration: In collaboration with members of the Safety and Security Team, key LA28 Functional Areas (FAs,)
Venue Partners, and Public Safety Agencies, develop comprehensive Venue Security Infrastructure plans that provide the highest
level of Security while minimizing impacts to critical event operations. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners
(construction teams, public safety, private contractors and suppliers) to create unified and integrated security plans. Serve as
the main point of contact/liaison for the Safety & Security Department with key functional areas, Venue contacts,
government/public safety agencies, as required.
Risk Management & Compliance: Contribute to risk and Venue assessments to identify vulnerabilities, develop mitigation strategies,
and oversee implementation of approved security plans. Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as
international best practices for event security.
Operational Coordination: Act as the primary representative of the Safety and Security Department, oversee and deliver the LA28
approved Security Operations Plans at assigned Venue(s) and ensure adherence to all approved LA28 Policies and Procedures at
Olympic and Paralympic Venues at Games time. Complete regular status reports, incident reports, and project status reports as
required. As a key member of the planning team, this position will also take on other assigned tasks as required.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between LA28 Functional Areas, Delivery Partners, Public Safety and Security
Agencies, and the Safety and Security Department, as assigned. Foster collaboration, teamwork and information-sharing. Manage
relationships with external partners, including law enforcement agencies, regulatory entities, state/regional traffic management
organizations, and service providers.
Project Management: Chair planning meetings or working groups, as assigned, to ensure timely delivery of milestones and
deliverables. Complete regular status reports, draft and share meeting notes and agendas, and draft policy and procedure
documents, as required.

Expectations
The annual base salary range for this position is $105,000-$140,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably
expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on
individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs
and applicable law.

As a Security Operations Engineer you will bring deep hands-on experience in incident response and threat detection. You will help extend the existing tooling, automation, and detection infrastructure that enables the team to operate at scale.
