At Hitachi Energy, we are accelerating the energy transition with digital innovation at the core of everything we do. To support this journey, we are now looking for a Data Engineer / Report Builder to strengthen our data platform and enable data driven decision making across operations, logistics, and manufacturing.
In this role, you will play a key part in building trustworthy, structured, and scalable data foundations that support reporting, analytics, and future digital capabilities. You will work closely with the business to replace manual reporting with automated solutions and help transform data into real business value.
This position is part of our digital transformation initiative and reports to the Digital Transformation Manager.
How you’ll make an impact
Build, maintain, and further develop our data platform to support analytical and operational use cases
Ensure high data quality, completeness, and consistency, enabling reliable reporting and decision support
Translate business needs into well‑defined data objects and data models, acting as a bridge between business and technology
Integrate and structure new data sources from operational and business systems
Develop and maintain our reporting portfolio, primarily using Power BI
Enable automated and self-service reporting, leveraging AI and replacing manual and Excel based solutions
Your background
3–7 years of relevant experience within data engineering, analytics engineering, or similar roles
Handson experience with Databricks or a comparable data platform
Strong skills in SQL, data modeling, and data pipeline design
Experience working with databases, ETL/ELT processes, and structured data architectures
Experience building reports and semantic data models, preferably using Power BI
The ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable data solutions

The opportunity As a Teamcenter Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for the design and development of Teamcenter solutions/projects that align with business requirements. How you will make an impact Coordinate functional groups to gather requirements and drive the To-Be system design with all stakeholders. Map PLM requirements to the Teamcenter framework. Troubleshoot product and technology limitations and issues. Coordinate and drive project development and the development team. Incorporate PLM/Teamcenter development best practices. Your Background Strong knowledge of Engineering Data Management, Manufacturing Process Planner, BOM Management, Change Management, Supplier Collaboration, and related modules. The opportunity As a Product Owner for Automation and Communication, you will secure the overall portfolio of the automation and communication products and solutions. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Automation and Communication Roadmap The responsible areas are SCADA/Network/Cyber, interfaces to 3rd party equipment (Aux automation), AC P&C functions, Telecom and electrical design. The Product Owner also support and coordinates with the R&D organization.
