The Opportunity
As our new Quality inspector you will be responsible for ensuring quality compliance of incoming materials and manufacturing activities, supporting stable production flow, and contributing to continuous improvement of operational quality processes. You will perform and coordinate quality control activities for incoming materials and manufacturing processes
How You’ll Make an Impact
Ensure timely inspection and release of materials to support production flow and avoid bottlenecks
Identify non-conforming materials or process deviations and support containment actions
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues related to materials and operations
Monitor quality performance in production and support implementation of improvement actions
Collaborate with production, supply chain, and engineering to ensure quality requirements are met
Support transition of inspection activities to third parties when applicable, including oversight and follow-up
Your Background
Technical education or equivalent practical experience in manufacturing or quality.
Manufacturing or incoming quality control experience and also with inspection methods and deviation handling
Knowledge in interpreting drawings, specifications, and quality requirements
Experience with inspection methods and deviation handling and used to working in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Basic understanding of root cause analysis and corrective actions
Good knowledge in the Swedish language is mandatory (fluent or working proficiency required). English is an advantage.

MACH have approximately 500 employees developing electronics hardware and software. The opportunity As an R&D Quality Engineer, you will ensure quality excellence across New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and enhancements to the active product portfolio. Reporting to the TC Quality Manager, you will partner closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and certification teams to ensure products are designed, validated, and released in full compliance with internal processes and external standards. This role is ideal for a hands‑on quality professional with engineering mindset who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative, and international R&D environment. Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines. How You’ll Make an Impact Lead quality execution across NPI projects, from concept and feasibility through product qualification, certification, and release, ensuring milestones, deliverables, verification, and validation requirements are met. Integrate quality requirements into project planning, ensuring quality objectives are clearly defined, understood, and embedded throughout all development phases for new and existing products. Drive proactive quality risk management, facilitating DFMEA, PFMEA, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and reliability assessments; define critical‑to‑quality (CTQ) characteristics and support development of Quality Control Plans. Support and coordinate internal and external audits, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, ensuring audit readiness, tracking findings, and driving timely closure of corrective actions. Lead Root Cause Analyses (RCA) related to NPI issues, problem reports, and design changes, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). The Opportunity We are looking for a collaborative and relationship-oriented Supply Quality Engineer who excels at building strong partnerships and maintaining clear, effective communication with suppliers. This role requires solid expertise in high-voltage products, supported by a steady technical foundation and hands-on experience in quality assurance and prolem-solving within this field. This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of engineering, sustainability, and operational excel-lence. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with category teams, buyers, Q&OPEX, HSE, R&D, and suppliers to ensure world-class quality and compliance. How you’ll make an impact Support the Procurement HUB and Factory Team in maintaining a qualified supplier base and ensuring compliance with the Hitachi Energy Supplier Code of Conduct, including ethics, governance, and sustaina-bility requirements. Execute part qualifications (PPAP) according to defined standards, ensuring suppliers meet requirements and validating results together with the Quality Organization. Drive continuous improvement of PPAP standards by supporting Engineering and Product Care in develop-ing updated delivery and testing instructions. Perform supplier assessments and audits, ensuring timely and effective closure of non-conformances. Monitor supplier performance (OQD) and lead issue resolution through Supplier Non-Conformance Man-agement, including regular supplier engagement and visits. Take ownership of urgent supply issues and support claims handling in coordination with buyers when supplier-related root causes are identified. Your background Solid background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with experience in supplier quality management, including audits and assessments. Familiarity with supplier qualification processes and standards, particularly PPAP. Good understanding of procurement and supply chain operations in a manufacturing or industrial environ-ment. Knowledge of corporate governance, sustainability, and ethical compliance frameworks (e.g., Supplier Code of Conduct). Solid collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and lead supplier-related issue resolu-tion.
