We are looking for a Test Engineer for a global company in Lund. Start is ASAP, 1 year limited contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that. This role is 100% onsite in Lund.
A Test Engineer consultants role and tasks is to plan, design, architect, and deploy effective test suites in order to ensure that developed systems fulfill defined end user requirements. The consultant will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate, verify, communicate, and resolve systems/software issues through careful testing in order to maximize the benefit of investments and initiatives.
This role requires fluency in English and Swedish.
This is a full-time consultant position in Lund through Incluso. Start is ASAP, 1 year limited contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that. This role is 100% onsite in Lund.

Your Role As a Test Engineer, you’ll be a key player in planning, coordinating, evaluating and verifying advanced products in the fields of optics, electronics, mechanics, and environmental testing. You will not only perform thorough tests and document the results with high accuracy but also write test plans, develop new test methods and innovative equipment solutions to ensure we meet industry-leading standards. What you will do · Act as a test and verification resource within an agile, cross‑functional team, supporting sprint planning, execution, reviews, and retrospectives. · Test lead: planning, coordinating and conducting tests, verifications, and analyses within optics, electronics, mechanics and environmental systems. · Being the team’s key competence in test activities by driving test planning, stakeholder alignment, prioritization, and follow-up of test execution and results. · Continuously prioritize and adapt test activities based on team needs, development progress, and risk assessments. · Documenting findings in clear, precise technical reports in both English and Swedish. · Developing and validating new testing methods and equipment. · Maintaining and improving laboratory tools and instruments. · Collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure products meet stringent quality criteria. · Exploring creative, hands-on solutions—perfect for someone who enjoys tinkering and practical hobby projects. I rollen kommer du att arbeta som teknisk expert inom verifiering och validering av avancerade produkter och system. Du ansvarar för att säkerställa att testaktiviteter genomförs strukturerat, effektivt och med hög kvalitet genom hela utvecklingsprocessen.
